Chapter 14. Eyes and Selfies.
After going to school with Shawn and Jay-Jay, I went to meet Aria. Shawn had some paper works to do, so he went to the office.
And the best thing about today was, I was crashing into everyone. Every freaking one. I was so mad at myself. No matter how properly I walked but, I just couldn't help myself.
"Aria, cheer me up," I said.
"Why do you keep crashing?" she asked.
"I don't know, it's like I am watching and keeping myself safe, and the moment I'll look on a different direction, I'll crash to someone. Damn it," I complained.
"Okay, I'll cheer you up. Let's go to the canteen," she suggested.
"Canteen can't cheer me up," I whined.
"Shut up and move," she ordered.
"What are you going to do?" I asked.
"Be a bitch, and make you laugh," she said excited.
"That's lame," I said rolling my eyes.
"Wait and watch," she said putting her hand on my shoulders.

We sat on our table and we were eating our sandwiches. A random guy came up and took the seat beside Aria, and she smirked.
What's going on?
"Hey, remember me?" he said.
"Of course, say hello to your wife and my children." She said.
"You have children?" I spit out my coke shocked.
"I think you're an asshole!" the boy yelled.
"I don't think about you at all." Aria remarked.
I giggled. Aria smirked and the guy rolled his eyes.
"Yeah, keep rolling your eyes, maybe you'll find a brain back there," Aria commented.
I giggled again.
"Are you stupid?" the guy asked to me.
"Incredibly, thanks for noticing," I said.
What did I just do?
Aria was gawking at me.
Did I just answer him back? Ha-ha.... I loved it.
"Just cut the crap," he said giving up, and throwing his hands in the air.
"You better-" Aria was about to say something and I cut her off.
"I got this Ari," I said.
"Sure, go on," Ari said, smirking.
I looked back at the guy who was standing up already, ready to leave.
"You will look better in pieces," I commented.
The guy rushed away.
"That was good," Ari remarked.
"Thanks for making me laugh, but did we just bully him?" I asked, feeling a bit guilty.
"No Mel, he got what he deserved. Trust me," Aria assured.
I looked around, the students in the canteen where looking at us smiling.
"See, they loved it," Ari commented.
"I am okay with it then," I said honestly.
After I took the last bite of my sandwich and Ari took the last sip of her coke, the guy came back and poured a glass of water on Ari's shoes.
Shit.
"What the hell?" Ari yelled irritated.
"It was just the flood sweety," he said smirking.
The whole crowd was shocked by the guys' action, and so was I.
Within a blink, Ari held the bottle from the table and poured it all over him.
'Wow,' the whole crowd said, in unison.
"It was just the rain, honey," she said to the guy, and walked away, dragging me along with her.
"That was awesome," I said excited.
"I know right. Got to get my shoes from the locker," she said.
"You have shoes in your locker?" I shouted shocked.
"I have everything in my locker," she added with a smirk plastered on her face.
Later that day, I introduced Shawn with Devan. Shawn found it easy to make new friends, he fit in easily. He was very excited to get in this school. So, it was cool for him.
Aaron was to be found no where around, he just vanished somewhere. Without letting anyone know.
We cancelled our hanging out today, that we planned because, Shawn was going to move out with his family later today. So, we had a lot of works.

Shawn drove us home, and we even picked Jay-Jay up. The drive to home was silent.
I don't know what was wrong with them, but I knew I was quiet cause... I was upset.
Why was I upset?
Upset cause, Shawn was going to leave. He was going to move in with his family.
What was wrong with me? He is Shawn Collins, the annoying guy, whom I hated the most. I was sad because he was leaving whereas; I should've been the happiest one. Of course, I didn't hate him anymore, but why was I sad. He could stay wherever he wants; at least we are going to the same school.
Ugh. Everything's so confusing. Problem and complications should vanish from our lives.
Vanish.
From vanish, where on earth did Aaron vanish to?

After a few more minutes we reached home. Jay-jay ran inside, and I waited for Shawn to park his jeep and come in.
He parked his jeep, hopped off the seat, and walked past me. He walked away.
Why did I even wait for the jerk? Kill me. But, I wasn't mad at him. What's wrong with me? Ugh.
I dragged the door open and went in, I found Uncle and Aunt Collins sitting on the couch and talking with my mum.
"Hi Uncle and Aunt Collins," I greeted both of them, catching their attention.
"Hello sweetheart," said Aunt Collins, getting up and wrapping me into a warm hug.
"It's nice to meet you after so many days," said Uncle Collins, patting my shoulders.
"I was insisting them, to stay till dinner, but they won't listen. You tell them Mel," Mum piped in.
"Are you all not staying till dinner?" I asked the Collins.
"No dear, we have to settle all the paper works for the transportation of our furniture's and all, we will leave as soon as Shawn comes down," Uncle Collins said.
Aunt Collins walked back to my mum and they started talking.
"Oh, did your furniture's not arrive yet?" I asked.
"Not yet, they are delayed for the traffic," Uncle Collins reasoned.
"Okay," I trailed off "I'll get fresh and be right back," I finished.
"Sure, make sure, Shawn gets ready fast. We have to leave within 10 minutes," he finished with a smile on his face and walked away.
10 minutes.
I walked upstairs, and changed into my comfy clothes, faster than ever, maybe like, in 3 minutes. I washed my face and hands. I brushed my hair and tied it into a bun. I didn't care if it was messy or neat, bad or good. I just did it anyway.
I was in hurry. I was in hurry because I wanted to talk to Shawn before he left. I wanted to annoy him. I wanted him, to annoy me.
Oh God, I was going to miss this guy, a lot.
I went outside my room and walked towards Shawn's. I prepared myself to not let him know that I was upset.
I took a deep breath, knocked on his door and waited.
"Come in," he said, with a hoarse voice.
"So, what's up? Ready?" I said trying to sound normal, as I walked towards the chair, and sat on it.
"Yeah," he said, stuffing his clothes in the bag.
He didn't look at me.
"So, did you know your furniture's has not been delivered yet," I sang.
"No," he said, still stuffing his clothes in his bag.
"But now you know," I exclaimed, making a lame joke.
"Okay," he said, not even caring about the joke.
"Why are you so weird?" I asked.
"Leave me alone, please," he said looking up at me, straight into my eyes, sending shivers down my spine.
What's happening to me? Why is his stare affecting me?
"What's wrong Shawn? Did something happen at school?" I asked.
"I said leave me alone," he repeated, this time in a cold tone.
"Did I do something wrong? Or Jay-jay? Or mum? Anyone?" I asked, waiting for his answer.
"Nothing is wrong Melissa, just leave me alone. Do I have no choice to be alone?" he said with the cold tone again.
He called me Melissa, instead of Mel.
His beautiful eyes, piercing through mine.
Did I just say 'Beautiful eyes'? What am I doing?
I should stop. Damn it.
I got up and walked towards the bed, I sat in the corner quiet cause, I didn't want to leave. I wanted to talk to him. That's all.
"What?" he asked.
"What? I didn't say thing," I replied.
"Mel, come on, don't tell me you are going to act all weird now," he said, annoyed.
"No, am I?" I asked him back.
"No, absolutely not," he said sarcastically.
"Please Shawn, tell me. What's wrong?" I asked sighing.
"Don't you know what's wrong?" he asked me back.
"Is it because, you are leaving with your family?" I asked.
"Yeah," he sighed.
He got up from the bed, and walked to the wardrobe. He took out piles of clothes and was walking back to the bed.
"Aw Shawn, don't be sad, you will be a few blocks away. We will hang out," I whispered.
"Who said I want to hang out with you?" he said.
I looked at him amazed "really? You won't miss me? I hate you," I finished.
He shook me by my arms and said "off course silly, I will miss you. A lot."
"Liar," I snapped.
"No, I am serious," he said.
I looked up to meet his eyes, "I will miss you too, loser," I finished.
"bi-" he was cut off.
'Bitch'... I wanted him to call me that. I wanted to hear him say that. Just because of that beautiful smile. Just because of the sparkle in his eyes.
What is wrong with me? Melissa tighten your grip please.
"SHAWN, ARE YOU NOT READY YET, WE HAVE TO LEAVE," Uncle Collins shouted from downstairs.
"YES DAD, I AM DONE," Shawn yelled back.
"You nearly made me deaf," I said, placing my hands on both of my ears.
Shawn giggled. His smile was perfection. He, himself was perfection.
I mentally slapped myself for thinking that.
"Let's click a selfie, before you leave this room," I giggled.
"Really?" he asked annoyed.
I took my phone out, "say cheese," I captured.
I realized that it was on 'multiple shots' and it went on clicking pictures.
Shawn groaned, smiled, smirked, and everything else. After clicking 8 pictures, we both went out of the room and then downstairs to meet our families there.
They all talked for a little while and I talked with Shawn.
After hugging everyone present in that room, they were gone.
Shawn was gone.
