When I reached the gate, I saw A'Xian leaning against a tree and Wangji smiling at him. It was like they were having a decent conversation. It was nice to see. It was nice to see my brother smile and to see A'Xian so relaxed. Now, I just hope he doesn't get to overwhelmed by the pouch.

"Wangji, A'Xian," I said joining them, "ready to head out?"

"Yes," they said.

"A'Xian, Uncle and I wanted to give you a little something," I said taking out the pouch and handed it to him.

"What is this?" He asked.

"Compensation for what Yunmeng owes you as your head disciple," I told him, "Uncle said as you are to be engaged to Wangji, you should be compensated for they money you are owed."

"But this is your money, I can't accept this. I can just run it by Jiang Cheng," he said trying to hand it back.

"I know it seems like a lot, but please accept it," I said holding the pouch in his hands and making sure it stays there, "you are apart of our family, and we want you to know that we see you. As the Second Heir's fiancé you have your share...plus uncle Uncle and I insisted."

"Wei Ying should keep it," Wangji told him, "you can go out when you need to. I hope to accompany you but if you need to buy something, you have money."

He sighed and nodded, "thank you, I appreciate all you have done for me...I hope you know the feeling of wanting to repay you is sitting deep inside my gut right now."

"I know, but you don't owe us," I told him, "as the GusuLan sect, we thrive to help those like you who need it. You went through a lot and we are always happy to be there for you. You are our family now and we are yours."

"Alright," he said putting the pouch in his robes, "should we get going then?"

"Yes, let's go," I said.

Wangji and Wuxian walked ahead of me as I trailed behind a bit. I didn't mind watching the two. When we got to town, it was like A'Xian became a child again. Pulling Wangji from one stall to another just looking around.

"Lan Zhan, want Loquats?" A'Xian asked, "Xichen-Ge told me they are your favorite."

'I said no such thing,' I thought.

Wangji glared at me but I shrugged like I didn't know what he was talking about, as I didn't actually know. A'Xian bought said and gave one to Wangji. He ate it of course and was fine. Wangji did like Loquats, as he liked certain fruits as he is one to like sweets. I told A'Xian Wangji liked sweets, so maybe that was what he meant but I didn't bother.

"Is there a place that you have been to before?" I asked A'Xian, "where you like their food? What would you like?"

"Are you two hungry?" He asked.

"A little bit," I answered. Wangji just nodded.

"There was a place I went to with Huaisang and Jiang Cheng when were were having lectures here. It was a good place. It has good options for those who are from Cloud Recesses as well. I am one who likes spicy food so I am sure you wouldn't want that," he said.

I smiled, "why don't you take us to the restaurant you ate at," I suggested.

He nodded, "sure...though the waiter was not exactly happy with us before why left."

"Why?" I asked.

"Ugh, Huaisang saw a girl he liked and tried to flirt with her. He was slightly drunk so it didn't really go well. The girl dumped her food on him. Jiang Cheng stepped in to help him but the girl's father was nearby who just so happened to be a waiter. He chased us off...so I don't know if I am allowed back but I didn't cause trouble the other two did. I just happened to be there to witness it all," he explained.

I laughed, "was that why Huaisang came to me with food all over him?" I questioned.

"Probably," A'Xian answered, "I felt a bit bad for him. If his brother found out about it, I'm sure Huaisang got an earful."

I smirked, "I don't think he heard about it. Not from me anyway," I said, "let's try the place and if the man is there, we can apologize for what happened. You shouldn't be at fault as you weren't involved but just there with them."

He nodded, "unless you two know of a good place," he said.

"Well, take us to the place you went to first," I said.

He nodded and led the way. The man was actually not working that day and the rest of the employees didn't seem to recognize A'Xian. So that was where we ate. He ordered a couple dishes that he felt would be suitable for Wangji and me, and then a spicy dish for himself. It was nice of him to order for us. It seemed taking him out to eat was a good thing. He ate better than he has in a while.

"If you like spice, why not let you get, is I Chili oil? For your food at Cloud Recesses. It might help you handle the food better," I suggested.

"Really?" A'Xian asked, "I can try...and yes it is chili oil."

"Alright," I said.

Just after we finished eating, A'Xian got a jar of Emperor's Smile to go. We roamed around a bit more as he drank. It was a nice day to just be outside Cloud Recesses. It was still mid afternoon when we got back so we decided to go spend some time in the library to check out if there is anything on A'Xian's cultivation.
