The Jiang sect and the Lan sect happened to be seated beside each other. It was nice because I can sit with Jiang Cheng and also hand Lan Zhan beside me as well. Jiang Cheng was in a better mood today and I hoped he would remain that way for a while. Though, what will happen today, may or may not change that.

"Welcome to this week's conference meeting," Jin Guangshan announced. I saw him take a glance at me before speaking again, "shall we begin with any struggles within the sects? Issues to report?"

"The Nie Sect has been doing well," Nie Mingjue said, "though...I haven't seen A-Yao recently. He is also not here. Why?"

After looking around, he did have a point. Where was Jin Guangyao?

"Jin Guangyao will be here a bit late. He has been kindly running errands for me," Jin Guangshan stated.

"The Lan Sect has been doing fine as well," Xichen-Ge stated, "there has been no sightings of puppets or corpses."

"Oh?" I heard someone say. It was of course Jin Zixun, "how so? There have been sightings of puppets just a couple days ago near Yiling."

"Wei Wuxian, what are you up to?" Jin Guangshan asked, "I suggested you hand over the amulet."

I smiled and dumped the dust and fragments of the amulet on my table, "sorry to say this, but it is destroyed," I said with a smirk, "no one will ever have to worry about it again. So if there are puppets and corpses, I can guarantee you, it isn't me. My flute is also no longer a ghost flute, it is a spiritual Weapon. If you do not believe me, feel free to speak with Zewu Jun. He knows that. I have been with the Lan Sect for the past several months and have not left or caused trouble. So any issues about resentment, it not me."

Jin Guangshan's face turned three different shades of red, "you destroyed it? And you did it alone?"

"I did," I answered and looked at Jiang Cheng, "no need to worry about the amulet causing issues anymore."

I then waved my hand and caused the fragments and dust to disappear. Xichen-Ge, Lan Zhan, Jiang Cheng, and even Sect Leader Nie, were happy to see that I have been doing well and back to my old self.

"This is preposterous!" Jin Guangshan yelled, "you ruined everything!"

I smirked and looked at the man, "oh, and what was it that I ruined?" I asked.

"You ruined my chances of more power!" He admitted.

Several other of the small sects, Sect leaders, including larger ones, the Lan Sect, Jiang Sect, and Nie Sect, have all rose to their feet, "Jin Guangshan! We hereby revoke you of his excellency!" Nie Mingjue stated.

"I vote Sect Leader Nie for the new Chief!" One man shouted.

Other sects agreed to that and voted one after another, "it has been decided," Xichen-Ge stated, "Sect Leader Nie Mingjue, Chifeng Zun, is the new Chief Cultivator..if he will accept it."

"I accept," he said, "and the first thing I decree is to seal Jin Guangshan's spiritual powers and hold a trial for his abuse of power. I would also like to call into question Jin Guangyao as he has been running 'errands' for Jin Guangshan. So I will send out a warrant for Jin Guangyao!"

"Yes, Chifeng Zun," everyone bowed.

"If there is nothing else, I just want to say one more thing before we call it for today," Nie Mingjue said and turned to me, "thank you, Wei Wuxian, for telling us about the amulet being destroyed. In doing so, it revealed Jin Guangshan's intent. Your merits will not go unnoticed and for tomorrow's meeting, we will have a toast in your honor. I would also like to remove your name, Yiling Patriarch, as it is no longer who you are."

I stood and bowed to him, "Thank you Chifeng Zun, I was just correcting my mistakes and in doing so, I changed for the better and am in good health again. I have the Lan Sect to thank for that."

"That too, will not go unnoticed," Nie Mingjue stated, "today's meeting has come to an end. We shall meet again tomorrow around the same time."

Jiang Cheng turned to me, "I'm proud of you," he said.

I looked at him a bit surprised. I then placed my hand on his forehead before turning to Xichen-Ge, "Zewu Jun, I am not sure if Jiang Cheng is okay. He just said he is proud of me," I told him.

Xichen-Ge laughed, "are you feeling okay, Sect Leader Jiang?"

Jiang Cheng removed my hand, "of course I'm okay. I can say nice things sometimes you know," he argued.

I laughed, "I'm just messing with you...by the way, that was actually the amulet. It was not fake. I really did destroy it...I got yelled at by Lan Zhan for doing it alone. It caused me to get injured a little bit," I told him.

Jiang Cheng gently hit me in the head, "you idiot. He had every right to be mad. If it injured you and you knew it probably would have, he should have scolded you."

"Never thought I'd see you side with Lan Zhan for once," I said rubbing my head.

"Since there is still a good amount of daylight left, do you want to sit and talk with me now or later?" He asked.

I turned to Xichen-Ge, "will you and Lan Zhan come with? I need some support," I asked.

Xichen-Ge nodded along with Lan Zhan, "we will come," Lan Zhan said.

"Okay," I said and turned to Jiang Cheng, "preferably somewhere private."

"Let's go back to one of our rooms then," he suggested.

I nodded. Xichen-Ge, and Lan Zhan followed behind Jiang Cheng and me as Jiang Cheng led us to his room. I was nervous about what he might think or do or say. I told myself I never wanted him to know, but should he really be kept in the dark? Should be really not know what I did for him?

I had to open up to him. He may be mad or upset, but telling him now, may be a good idea. If he were to get mad, I would give him time to settle down and regather himself. I can respect that. He deserves to let his anger out. I just hope it won't get physical. That's why I need Lan Zhan and Xichen-Ge to help me by being there with me. Hopefully to stop anything from escalating.
