I go to the away game being held between my school and Depp. I sit in the bleachers and watch the boys as they whistle at the cheer leaders. I dont understand what all the hype about Depp girls is about. To me the are all the same thinking they are better then everyone else because they are rich. I am only here to watch the game and maybe to find out who this Anna Visero girl is. The cheerleaders get into pyramid formation with a small girl at top. She winks at the crowd before being thrown into the air where she flips and lands safely in the arms of the other girls.
Depp wins the game as always so I decide to head home and wait for Alex to pick me up for the after party.
Alex pulls up in front of my house and walks into my house without knocking.
"Dude you ready to head out?" He looks at what I'm wearing and shakes his head. "Go change! This is a party!" He drags me up the stairs and walks back down to the living room. I look at my converse and t-shirt and decide to try a new style. I pull on skinny jeans and a button down shirt with my converse. I put on the Beanie my mother bought me to "change up my wardrobe" and walk back down to the living room.
"Dude you look fly." I roll my eyes and walk out to his beat up ford.
"Alex you should really get a new car." He covers his heart and scoffs.
"No way man this is a classic."
"A classic piece of shit?"I cover my laugh and get in the truck. As he pulls away I begin to wonder where the party is being held.
"Hey man where is this party at?" He glances at me with a glint of mischief.
"I think it's in a field or something." I groan realizing he trapped me into going to the Depp party. I punch him in the shoulder.
"HEY! Why did you hit me?" My lips curve into a smirk.
"Are we going to the Depp party?" He begins to sputter out a half answer.
"Umm. Well. Maybe. Kinda. Yes." I punch him again.
"Not cool man." I stare out the window and wait until I see the Visero mansion. As it came into sight I let out a low whistle.
"Beautiful ain't she?" I nod but realize he's talking about some chick crossing the road.
"The house is amazing." He shrugs his shoulders and pulls into the yard where a lot of cars are parked. He jumps out of the car and stares at me waiting for me to get out. I unbuckle the seat belt and reluctantly crawl out of the truck.
"Do I have to go in." I whine like a five year old being forced to go into home Depot.
"Yes you do now come one." I drag my feet behind him but follow. The outside of the house is packed and I can hear the music pouring out of the house.
"Look who showed up." Felix hiked his thumb towards Alex and I.
"What do you want Felix? We don't have time for this." Alex replies coldly before pushing past Felix. Felix grabs his arm and renches him back.
"What you looking for some poor desperate girl that would find you even a little but attractive?" Felix smirks and his buddies laugh.
"As a matter of fact, yes I am." Alex brushes his hands off and storms inside, I follow but not before hearing Felix's snide remark.
"Follow along little doggie." I don't turn around but flip him off. I look around the room for Alex and run straight into a girl.
"HEY! WATCH  it!" I look down and see the small cheerleader from earlier.
"Sorry." She winks and walks away. Alex walks up to me with his jaw hanging open.
"Dude, that was Anna Visero! She winked at you!" He holds his hand up for a high five. I shake my head and walk towards the drink counter. I pour myself a glass of pepsi and sit on a stool. A few girls glance at me but don't talk.
"Alex? What's going on?" He looks at me like I'm stupid.
"Have you not noticed how you look?" I shake my head. "You don't look like nerdy you instead you look stylish." I roll my eyes but can't help but think he's right.
