As Tsubasa carries Penny on his back, Penny slowly awakens as she hears Tsubasa's heartbeat...

Penny: (Thinking) Tsubasa...I...I can hear his heartbeat...and the smell...of his blood. (The temptation grew as her stomach has growled on her, but suddenly something else that is against her nose has distracted her from her hunger. ***Thinking***) I wish that I could taste him but... (sniffs on Tsubasa's shoulder) His scent from his clothes...and hair...it is so...soothing...

Penny has fallen right back to sleep, but at the corner of Tsubasa's eye. He saw that Penny has barely moved her head and she is breathing against his clothes and skin.

Tsubasa: (Thinking and worrying) Penny... (Tsubasa continues to carry her as he follows Fakir out of the woods.)

At the entrance of the park, the police officers, and Mr. and Mrs. Marks are there. Waiting for any news of their search, suddenly they have heard something has shifted in the bushes. The police officers have geared up, suddenly someone has come out of the bushes.

Police Officer 1: Fakir... (He put his gun up) Did you find...?

Before he could finish his question, two more figures have come out of the bushes.

Police Officer 1: Tsubasa Otori...

Mr. and Mrs. Marks: (Panicked and Worrying) And our daughter, Penny!!

Police Officer 2: What happened?

Police Officer 1: And what happened to your arm, Mr. Otori?

Tsubasa: It is a long story, but...this girl needs to get to the hospital right away. She has been throwing up in the woods.

Fakir: (Thinking) He is lying...to protect their...? Well...except...

Mrs. Marks: How many times has she been throwing up?

Tsubasa: Lost count.

Fakir: (Thinking as he felt an animated sweat drop on his brow) So defiantly true. But...yup, he is.

Police Officer 1: Then let's get you two to the hospital then.

Fakir: (Nodded and thinking) I hope that he knows what we are doing.

Tsubasa lays Penny gently on the stretcher and the doctors rolled her into the back of the vehicle. Tsubasa hops in and rides with them and headed towards the hospital.

Hours have been passed, and the night has become later. Tsubasa went into an apartment that he has rented for a while. He leans back to the door and locked it...

Tsubasa: (Sighs and Thinks) What a long night...but...I hope that I did the right thing in the hospital...

As he leans against the door, he remembers what he has done in the hospital...

*Flashback  1*

In the hospital, the doctors are examining Penny in the operating room. Tsubasa and Penny's parents are waiting in the waiting room. Suddenly, a doctor has come out of the operating room. Tsubasa and Penny's parents stood up...

Mr. Marks: (Echoes) Doctor, how is she?

Doctor: (Echoes) She is doing fine; she has shown some signs of a sore stomach from her acid reflexes. So, she has some possibilities that she has been throwing up for a while.

Mrs. Marks: (Echoes) What about the bloodstain on her shirt?

Tsubasa: (Froze in his place. ***Thinks***) Oh no...

Doctor: (Shook his head as his voice echoes) There are no signs of open wounds on her neck, it is possible that it could be animal blood. Since she has been in that woods for a while, but we could still check. But right now, all that I could say that her condition is acid reflexes and exhaustion. Soon here she will be in perfect health again.

Mrs. Marks: (Echoes) Thank goodness.

Tsubasa: (Sighs in Relief)

Mr. Marks: (Sighs in relief as his voice echoes) What should we do now?

Doctor: Let her rest just for few days and nibble some crackers while she is in bed. But when she wakes, just call me so I could check on her.

Mrs. Marks: (Echoes) Okay.

Mr. Marks: (Echoes) Thank you.

Doctor: (Echoes) You're welcome.

Mr. Marks: (Echoes) If I may ask, is it alright that we could take her home now?

Doctor: (Echoes) Yes, you may.

Mr. Marks: (Echoes) Thank you.

Mrs. Marks: (Turned to Tsubasa as her voice echoes) And thank you Mr. Otori, for all of that you have done to help us.

Tsubasa: (Echoes) You're welcome, Mrs. Marks.

Then Mr. and Mrs. Marks went into the room. Tsubasa can see that Mrs. Marks is sobbing happily as she held her daughter in her arms. Mr. Marks gently scooped his daughter up and they both have exit to the door and headed home. Before Tsubasa could to leave, the doctor went to his side...

Doctor: (Echoes) Mr. Otori.

Tsubasa turned to the doctor...

Doctor: (Echoes) I know that you help her and all, but how did you manage to break your arm and got it all fixed up?

Tsubasa: (Echoes) It is very hard to explain.

Doctor: (Echoes) I am all ears.

Tsubasa: (Gulps echoed as he thinks...)

*Flashback 1 End*

Tsubasa is still leaning against the door...

Tsubasa: (Thinking) I've done everything that I can for not being thrown into the Rehab and keep that mythical secret at all times. (Yawns) I better get some rest of my own. I need some strength to talk about my explanation of my disappearance and other stuff to the government, the director(s), and the media in the morning...

As Tsubasa removed the cloth that is supporting his cast and put it to the side. Before he could crawl into bed, he suddenly spotted something. He turned to the window as the curtains flying into the night wind.

Tsubasa: (Thinking) The window is open... (Sniffs the air) wet dog scent...oh no...

At full alert, Tsubasa looks through one of his bags.

Tsubasa: (Thinking) Now where is that...?

???: Hello, human. Are you looking for something?

Tsubasa turned around and saw a familiar face that is standing right at the corner...

Tsubasa: Rex!!

Rex: (Smiled) So you remembered me, huh?

Tsubasa remembers his first meeting with Rex very well...

*Flashback 2*

Rex: (Voice Echoes) But first...

Tsubasa pulled the trigger and shot Rex's shoulder. It has started to fuzz and oozed with blood and silvery color. Rex touched his shoulder and weakly sniffed his fingers.

Rex: (Weakly Chuckles as his voice echoes) Silver Bolts. Impressive...for a near-human.

Tsubasa: (Jumped as his voice echoed) What? (Tsubasa barely jumped from within...***Thinking*** as his voice echoes) So my grandfathers' stories were true...but...but how did he...?

Rex: (Smiling) But you have forgotten about one thing.

Rex ran fast to Tsubasa's side and grabbed his right wrist; the one that is holding the gun. Rex began to squeeze Tsubasa's wrist...

Tsubasa: (Voice Echoes) GAH!! (Tsubasa felt pain from his wrist, he can feel cracks appeared from within his body. Tsubasa dropped the gun and shacks in pain.)

Rex: (Voice Echoes) You may have shot me with one silver bolts, but...it is not enough to take me down. And, I still have enough strength to go against you.

Tsubasa: (Voice Echoes) Huh?

Rex suddenly jerked Tsubasa's arm up and Tsubasa had felt his shoulder jolt popped and moved. In pain, he cannot feel his whole right arm.

Tsubasa: (Screamed in pain as his voice echoes) Rrraughhh!!

Rex let go of Tsubasa's wrist and punched him in the chest.

Tsubasa: (Thinking as his voice echoes) Can't move... (Tsubasa landed and bumped his head to a rock...Voice Echoes) Ugh...

*Flashback 2 Ends*

As Tsubasa fully remembers the true accident...Tsubasa grabbed his cast and held onto it.

Rex: (Chuckled as he smiles) Figures. (Rex rubbed his sore shoulder)

Tsubasa: (Thinking) Maybe I could distract him so I could get out of here. (Tsubasa looks at the chair and back at Rex...) What are you doing here Rex? And how did you managed to get in?

Rex: I got in from your window and I am here because I have some questions to ask you.

Tsubasa: Like what?

Rex: Well...

Tsubasa grabs the chair and throws it at Rex, as Rex catches it. Tsubasa has started to run towards the door.

Rex: (Growls) Uh...I don't think so. (Rex has suddenly disappeared and reappeared right next to Tsubasa.) Boo.

Tsubasa: (Turned to his side) Huh?

Rex hit Tsubasa at the back of the neck and Tsubasa passed out.

Rex: You will not get away from me this time, kid. (Rex grabbed Tsubasa and dragged him into the room, Rex placed him on the floor. He knelt and grabbed Tsubasa's cast.) You do not need this anymore. (Rex crushed the cast and relieved Tsubasa's right arm. Rex put some gloves on and grabbed the handcuffs. He placed Tsubasa's hands on the back and handcuffed them.) Once you will awake here soon enough, then we will talk.

As Rex takes the gloves off his hands, he waits for Tsubasa to wake.

For few moments, Tsubasa has been sleeping lightly. Suddenly, he has started to open his eyes slowly. All at once, a painful jolt has sparked from all over of his right arm, from his wrist to his shoulder.

Tsubasa: (Weakly moaned) Urgh... (Tsubasa sat up slowly, he can feel both arms behind his back. He looks at his right shoulder, he can see that his whole arm is out of his cast. ***Thinking*** and worrying) It...it is out of the cast...but...but it's not...

Feeling his pain, he tried to twist his arms around the handcuffs. But the pain is too barrable, he stopped struggling and breath heavy for a bit.

???: I can see that you are awake now.

Tsubasa turned his head and saw the familiar figure, standing at the corner of the room. Ignoring his pain, he sat upon his knees.

Tsubasa: (Barely Growls) What do you want Rex?

Rex: What I want...? I want you to tell me, what has happened to the female beta that I was after.

Tsubasa: (Jumped and Thinking) Penny... (Tsubasa looks at the floor, trying to come up with something then he looks back at Rex...) What do you mean?

Rex: (Raised an eyebrow) One of my wolves told me that you have been dropped by Dracula himself.

Tsubasa: (Narrowing his eyes) Yeah, that was not even a pleasant flight. (Thinking) Well...the second thing that is unpleasant for me...

Rex: And...

Tsubasa: (Looks back at Rex) Huh?

Rex: He followed you to the maiden that is in pain...

Tsubasa: (Jumps and Thinking) It...it followed me...?

Rex: He also told me that Dracula had done something to her, before you, your companion, and the maiden. The wolf left to inform me. (Walked towards Tsubasa) So tell me, what did Dracula do to her?

Tsubasa: Well, he...uh...he...he bit her...

Rex: (Growls) What?

Rex snatched Tsubasa's neck and lifted him to the air. Squeezing Tsubasa's neck, and Tsubasa struggles to breathe as his legs swing around and left arm struggle to break free.

Rex: (Growls) Why in the world would Dracula bit her?

Tsubasa: (Struggles to breath) She...she was dying... (gasps) ...with the venom...that you gave her... (gasps) ...the...the only way...to save her... (gasps) ...is to combine...the bat venom... (gasps) ...with the wolf...venom... (gasps) ...to make her... (cough)

Rex: (Eyes relaxes a bit) A hybrid.

Rex lets go of Tsubasa's neck, and Tsubasa went to his knees and coughed wildly.

Rex: I see, somehow...in some way. It has sounded like that you and Dracula have found a way to save her. (Chuckles) Interesting.

Tsubasa: (Slowly taking deep breaths and thinking in pain) My arm...it has gotten even worse now...how can I...?

Rex: But...I wonder. (Snatches Tsubasa's silver hair and pull it back hard.)

Tsubasa: Ugh... (His head was held back and forced to look at Rex)

Rex: (Rex knelt...) What happens to the fair maidens' precious human when she is not around?

Tsubasa: (Gulps)

Near at the window, within the tree. Someone is watching the whole thing from Tsubasa's conversation with Rex, and the person has started to get worried. Suddenly, it has disappeared without a trace.
