In the morning, the sun is shining through the windows as the teenaged boy is resting in bed. Suddenly, he has felt his skin become warm. He slowly opens his eyes; he sees the sun shining upon him.

The Teenage Boy: (Thinking) Huh? Where...where am I? And how long was I been out? (The teenaged boy sat up slowly in bed, blanket slide off him, and feel the cool breeze touches his warm chest. Suddenly, he felt his head and chest a little ached...) Ow...

He rubbed his head and he looked at his chest. A huge dark brown spot appeared on his chest, right next to it is his fingers. He followed his fingers to his left wrist that is in a white cocoon. Suddenly, he realized something...

The Teenage Boy: (Whispered) A cast...? (The teenaged boy touched his cast...Thinking) That is right...! (He remembers...Thinking) I have got injured by that Rex guy...and that girl...she...she saved me. (He clutches his cast...Thinking) I did help her...a little...but...she did the rest.

The teenaged boy got out of bed and started to put his shirt and boots back on.

The Teenage Boy: (Thinking) I could hardly remember anything else since last night...and I wondered...did she got someone to help me with my condition last night? Or did she do it herself?

The teenaged boy put the cloth around his arm to settle it down and the loop is supported by his neck. Then he went out of the room and started to find his way around.

When he got himself downstairs, he saw two people that are talking to each other. Suddenly, they have stopped and looked at him. The teenaged boy examined them, one is a teenage girl who has brown eyes, dark brown hair in a ponytail, and a black headband on, skin a little pal and she is wearing black. He recognized her completely, but right next to her is a man with an eye patch, and the teenaged boy approached them.

The Man with the Eye Patch: (Smiling) Well, I see that you are well enough to stand again.

The Teenage Boy: Huh?

Penny: (Sighed) He meant that you have a probability of standing up straight and looking well again. By the way, how is your head?

The Teenage Boy: (Understood) A little headache though but it is fine. And I just want to thank you for helping me to get better last night.

The Man with the Eye Patch: You're welcome, oh by the way. Let us introduce ourselves. My name is Professor Vernix Galician and you have already met Penelope Marks or Penny. The she-wolf beta in training.

Penny: (Narrowed her eyes, Growls, and Thinking) I am not a beta!

The Teenage Boy: (Nodded) Yes, I have. My name is Tsubasa Otori, I am an agent from WBBA.

Penny: (Jumped) That is in Japan!

Tsubasa: (Nodded) Yes, it is. The director from my agency and your government has decided to work together to investigate here in the USA. It is because there are some mass murders, disappearances, and other cases that cannot be explained. Until when things have started to go wrong, and when I meet you, Penny...that is when I have started to know those non-living things are not just fantasies.

Professor Vernix: (Nodded) You have got that right. I agreed with you because...you see, Penny has thought it is the same way before Rex turned her.

Tsubasa: (Thinking) That man...he turned her into that?

Professor Vernix: But when she saw you, you have almost made her angry with you. But when she told me that you silver bolts to shoot at Rex. You have impressed her and gotten her approval. Oh, and by the way, where did you get the bolts and the gun? I can tell it is old.

Professor Vernix: (Jumps in Recognition) Uh...you better stand right next to her or behind her.

The professor pushes Tsubasa to Penny's side.

Tsubasa: Why? What's going on?

Penny: (Growls)

As Tsubasa is standing behind Penny, three people have appeared out of nowhere, in the room.

When three people have appeared in the room, Tsubasa studied the people. One is a man: a tall, thin, skin that is very pale, wearing a tuxedo, a medallion, shining blue eyes, and a long cape. The other two are a man and a woman, and they are wearing black cloaks so no one could see their faces.

The Tall, Thin Man: (Chuckles) Well, well, well. A human boy has been saved by a wolf-girl.

The Black Man: Very interesting, indeed.

Penny: (Growls)

The Black Woman: (Giggles) Oh, what a cute scene.

The Tall, Thin Man: (Chuckled) Indeed because she has saved that boy from Rex last night.

Tsubasa: (Thinking) This guy knows Rex too?

The Tall, Thin Man: I wondered why you did you brought him here, Penny?

Penny: (Growls) It's none of your concern, Dracula.

Tsubasa: (Jumped and Thinks) Dracula? Thee Dracula? The original vampire in the Vampire Books?

Dracula: (Chuckled) I get it, you like to keep it as a secret. But how long could you last if you do not have your medicine to protect him with?

Tsubasa: Huh? (Thinking) Medicine?

Penny: (Growls)

As Penny growls, the professor went between Penny and Dracula.

Professor Vernix: Okay, that is enough. You both must get along, but if Penny likes to protect this boy. Just let her...and I am still working on finding some answers to save her. That you have my word for it, just give us some more time.

Tsubasa: Uh... (Thinking) The professor is working on saving Penny from being a werewolf...for this long? But how can she handle it for that long?

As Tsubasa is staring confusingly, Penny and Dracula glare at each other in the eyes.

Dracula: (Sighs) Very well then, I will give you more time to do so. But... (Dracula eyes at Tsubasa...) Remember if that boy goes outside alone. He will become one of us, that you will have my word of.

Tsubasa: (Gulps Thick)

Penny: (Growls) You can count on it.

Dracula: Hmph. See you soon.

Then Dracula and his group have disappeared without a trace. Penny's eyes turned back to normal and have stopped growling.

Penny: He is right. (Penny turned to Tsubasa.) He will kill you on sight if you go outside alone...ever since you know everything about this. So, he is trying to clean up the mess that was left behind as always.

Tsubasa: (Nodded and Thinking) It is true that I know everything and that they wanted me to keep it quiet, but cleaning up the mess for this long? Guess that I have found out where the disappearances have started.

Penny: From now on Tsubasa, you must stay close to one of us whenever you are in the building. Did you get that?

Tsubasa: (Nodded)

Professor Vernix: (Sighed) Alright, I had better get ready on to investigating that blood of yours Penny. To see that there is any needs to get into a proper balance.

Penny: Very well. (Sighs) I better get things ready for tonight. Tsubasa, may either go everywhere you like in the building. Just stay close to the professor when I am gone. You had got that?

Tsubasa: (Nodded as he nearly panics) Yes.

Penny: (Smiles) I will be on the radio if you guys ever needed me.

Professor Vernix: Do not worry about us, we will be fine.

Tsubasa: (Thinking as he narrows his eyes at the professor) Define the word "fine"?

Before any of them knew it, Penny has disappeared without a trace and left Tsubasa and the professor alone.
