I keep having dreams of a large strong man who can change into a wolf, he keeps telling me we are fated to be lovers. Every dream I have about him ends in pain and no matter what I do differently I can't change it, plus he never tells me his name.

Between dreams I can hear people talking, some times they talk to me and other times to themselves. I hear lots of people crying to, and I mean full out hysterical crying. I am so confused I don't know what is going on. When I think I can maybe listen to the people talking another dream takes over.

The other dream I have is about a tall and muscular man who says he loves me deeply and that he will always take care of me. He has flashy cars, lots of money, wears a suit and always makes me go to work with him, sounds like a kidnapper to me but I don't know. Every time we go back to his home from work something happens and everything goes dark.

In the darkness I hear things that make no sense, I hear the name Lauren and how much these people love her and wish she would wake up. I kind of think that they mean me so maybe my name is Lauren?

They talk about how there was an accident, how the vampire that kidnapped Lauren was killed. I still don't know if I am Lauren but I didn't know anything about a vampire so maybe she is in the same hospital room as me?

I have heard the doctors talking about injuries and how I am in a coma but they never say my name, but that would make sense as to why I can hear and then dream. I had a beautiful dream about a girl in love with her best friend and how they would always drag me and another boy to the mall to either bum around or go shopping.

Every time I hear the people it seems to be getting for longer periods of time, from what I heard the doctor say that is how they help people come out of a coma is to lessen the pain medicine so the brain can function more and more each week without damaging anything.

Today I heard the woman named Shauna telling  Trevor and Clayton about some pain when her mate was killed and they told her they went through the same thing. I think Shauna and Trevor are a couple or were a couple or something along those lines, he said he will always love her and will always be there for her no matter what.

It was such a romance story I wanted to cry, and I guess I did because right away Clayton had noticed a tear run down my face and he told everyone else. That was when people starting coming by and talking to me about my life.

It's been a whole year like this, but finally the doctor took off all of the medicine. This last year I have learned that I really am Lauren, that Shauna is my best friend. She used to be with Trevor but they broke up and are now back together. I learned that the dream I have about shopping is with Shauna, Trevor and Clayton and that they are my friends.

Apparently something happened at my birthday and I ended up in an accident. There are somethings I can hear them whispering about, but never speak out loud. I can stay awake all day now without slipping into dreams but I can't open my eyes or move my body yet. I did manage to wiggle my toe the one day but no one saw.

I still tried every day, the doctor said there was a chance that my limbs won't respond due to being in bed for a year but he is surprised that I didn't lose a lot of weight, but at the same time he said its a good thing.

"Hey Lauren, its me Shauna. I just wanted to tell you that I miss you so much." she started crying as she confessed to me how much it hurts her to see me like this and how she wishes she could take the pain away.

I could feel the tears well in my eyes and run down my cheek, which is a normal occurrence for me now. I have some functionality back and they know I am trying to respond to them but I am just having issues waking up fully.

"Don't  cry I came today with good news, once your awake and back to normal the voting has gone through and you are the new Chancellor for the coven. Your magic reading was even higher then the current chancellor's. But you have to rest up first because there is going to be lots of training involved." I could tell she was happy but I didn't know what a chancellor was, I hated not knowing what was going on.

I was getting frustrated and without thinking to hard my hand flew up and ended smacking Shauna, she screamed and I heard a thud. The door flew open and I heard a male's voice.

"Baby are you okay?" it must have been Trevor.

"What the hell Shauna?" another male entered and you could hear him trying to not laugh.

"Shut up Lance, your sister just slapped me..." then as if realizing what she said she jumped up and screamed for the nurse, doctor and my parents.

I tried to open my eyes this time and I could feel them moving, which was a good sign, so I kept trying until I could see blurry things.

"Look she's waking up!" Lance hollered, suddenly I saw a bunch of blurry figures surround the bed. I used my hand to rub at my eyes and every so slowly my eyes focused on the faces of the voices that have been talking to me for the last year.

No one looked familiar but they knew me and everyone was so happy they were crying. Nurses and the doctor came running in and pushed everyone away as they checked my monitors, the doctor shined a light in my face, they were all asking questions at the same time, which just confused me more.

I was having issues breathing my throat was so dry so I grabbed at my throat, trying to tell someone I was thirsty. But no one was paying attention, I looked around but the only ones in the room now were hospital staff.

"Drink." I barely managed to rasp out, it was a complete whisper but the nurse nearest me had heard and handed me a glass of water with a straw. I took the first couple sips and felt relief instantly, but it was short lived as she took it away.

"Do you know your name? What year it is? Where you are? How you got here? How do you feel?" the doctor threw all these questions at me at once, which had my head spinning.

"What happened?" I whispered, it hurt to talk and I didn't know why.

"Lauren, you were in a car accident and almost died." the doctor stated, I looked at him confused.

"I don't know who I am, but I could hear the people calling me Lauren, is that my name?" I ask confused. The doctor barked out orders to get me some scans and blood work and right away and I was rushed out of the room on the bed with everyone shouting orders to the nurses around me.
