Xander had kept his promise and so did I. Minuet had been released alongside with other mysticals that had been imprisoned for years.

I've had never been happy to see Minuet kicking and moving perfectly before.

We all made a deal as supernaturals and hunters to work together to protect magic from humans and use magic for it's best.

It wasn't easy as the new leader of the supernaturals but with our oneness we covered up the tracks of our existence.

"Can you get the musical box for me Julius?". I asked as I brushed the messy curls at the end of my long hair.

"Of course". She nodded and walked away, disappearing into the hall.

Best friends are something that one should always value. I know it can sometimes nothing compared to true love but just know, that person you think would never help you would surprise you big time one day.

Best friends are like balloons indeed, if you get distracted and look away for a moment the balloon could escape from your grasp never to be within your reach again. So why not cherish what you have?

I could never stay mad at my BFF even though she tried things without me. She did those to get closer to me and as well protect me from what she thought was harm, I guess I deserved that cause I deserted her after all.

At first I thought she was gone just like that, she's really luckily to still be alive cause she's a human and humans interfering with magic to become one of us? That's risky, cause it comes with a lot of sacrifices.

I'm not a human if you're wondering. Even without Grandma's help, I've never been all the while anyways.

I'm the Cassandra Branwen, the only daughter of the Queen of the Everglow Kingdom. And when my dad passed away, my Grandma was forced to make a vow over my protection in the hands of my relatives by my mother who fleed from those who wanted her life.

No one ever saw her again.

Neither Grandma.

The Kingdom had been Queenless for over ten years even though Grandma was assigned some rules, she was just there as a volunteer and not their ruler.

The mysticals had been hopeless and torn apart from their families by different dangers and circumstances.

I'm guessing that's the time my parents and that of my Prince's parents were really rivals, who knows after all?

But now, my people won't remain under threats anymore cause I've now been given the role to look after my kingdom.

But I can't do it alone of course.

With the help of Ms. Selena, Xander, Minuet, Julius and...

Yes, Ms. Selena.

Guess you never really saw that one coming huh, heh.

She isn't a witch but she's one of nymphs in my kingdom I think and do you know the shocking part?

She and Grandma had crossed paths in the past before.

I never really sensed anything different about her ever since she met me but that doesn't matter right now, does it?

I'm happy as I've got everyone's back as they've got mine too. I know we've all got our differences and needs but together we can get to know each other more.

Speaking of differences, there was just one problem that sparked a fire amongst me.

A Wolf.

"I knew she wasn't a human Xander, how could you not sense that the entire time!".

Foxy turned out not to be a human being but a wolf, and she disagreed with everything I did....we did, actually.

She looked for little faults in my life and tried to make the Hunters Council give me a week trial of justice. Like what the hell?!

If not that Minuet had held me in place, I'd have ended up doing something quite drastic.

"Calm down Cassandra...remember, stay low". Minuet repeated, placing his hands on my shoulders. "She's just a lost kitten".

"Who are you calling kitten? Mind your words, Alastair!". The werewolf growled and made her way to the council furiously.

Minuet on the other hand was laughing.

She thinks she scares me a bit.

Pfft.

"Did you plead guilty for almost killing Hunters?". The council demanded directly at Minuet.

"I thought we've made a deal already!". I hissed in anger. I wonder what that were-goat has gone to tell them now!

"Silence Branwen! It's not your stead to answer this question now, he has killed in cold blood and-".

"I, the Ruler of the Emerald EverGlow Coven object completely and there's nothing you can do about it". My eyes glowed purple radiance the moment I made that serious statement.

"Very well, Case Closed....Minuet is now free to live his life the way he wants, as long as he stays low when among humans". The council declared without hesitation and stamped the final judgement.

I stuck a tongue at the defeated werewolf and laughed in excitement.

I was so happy that Minuet could finally live his life without necessarily hiding his form from the hunters that I pulled him into a long warm embrace.

Minuet ended up shedding tears with his chin resting on my shoulders.

"Shh, don't cry now Minuet. Don't make me feel all embarrassed you silly demon". I cooed.

"How can I ever thank you enough?". He asked with a tearful stained smile.

"I guess you could start with being comfortable in your true form with me?". I cupped his cheeks with a chuckle at his reaction.

"I can't make a promise to that". He teased.

I bit my lips at how cute he looked when he made that statement and kissed his cheeks shortly before walking to the hunters section.

"Never look down on a witch wolfy or you might end up bewitched". I snorted once I reached Foxy's front and held my head high for a while before walking to my assigned space.

Xander gave me a small nod and I did the same with a smile before signing few documents with the hunters.

"I hereby declare a peace seal between the three worlds; that of humans, hunters and magic itself. None of these parties are to abuse the powers or vice versa".

I gasped in excitement as cheers from different species reached my ears and became dumbfounded to actually see the last persons I thought I'd ever see.

M-mum!
