Chapter 5: The long game.
"Close your eyes"
☆
"What are you going to do?" Tan asks a little warily as he looks at the man slowly caging him. Mr Bell's arms were strong and muscular either side of Tan's head and as if he wasn't suddenly whipped for his tutor out of nowhere already, he notices the tattooed ink on one of the arms. Three bands which seemed to crisscross in an unusual plait.
"You have been a tough nut to crack Tan. My boys have been left frustrated...very frustrated." The male now takes a hand to Tan's face. The rough fingertips gently draw a line around Tan's jaw.
Even the simplest of touches from this man felt electric! A man Tan hadn't even set eyes on a mere 15 minutes ago, but now, through an unknown driving force, he felt willing to do whatever the man asked of him. If the touch of a solitary finger made him feel this way, what would a kiss feel like?
I want to know...no I really need to know.
"Kiss me." As soon as the words leave his own lips, Tan's eyes go wide.
What am I doing now? Why am I so devil may care?
"Kiss you?" The man hums back in amusement. "Ah no. Not quite yet. That's not quite how it works around here."
"B...but I." The finger which had been exciting his sensitive skin, now pressed firmly on his lips.
"Ssshhhh." He says like a breeze. "You're in Boystown now. Here we like to take our time. A few chance glances, light conversation, maybe a few 'more than just friends' touches. We do things slowly here. It's the only way to get the body and soul ignited."
Tan looks at the man confused. "I don't understand. What is it you want from me?"
"Harmony. Balance. Equilibrium." The teacher emits words like a dictionary as he slowly lowers both his arms and pulls away. "BL university. This place will teach you the perfect blend. If you let it."
Did he want to be taught such a lesson? Tan wasn't sure, but he knew he couldn't go around feeling emotionally and physically aroused around every boy he met and he certainly didn't want to throw caution to the wind either and lose his self respect.
I can't believe I'm agreeing to this...
"What do I have to do?"
Mr Bell smiles widely at Tan before uttering the words, "Close your eyes."
He breathes deeply as he slowly lets his lids close. There is a sudden whoosh of air felt over his face and body as it feels like he is caught in the middle of a hurricane. The noise is loud and Tan feels he has to take his hands to his ears to muffle the sound. Then after a few more seconds, the sound and the wind stop, with everything around him becoming still and silent.
Tan lowers his hands as he opens his eyes. Where was he? It seemed he was in the middle of nowhere. In the space of nothingness.
All of a sudden, something drops from his right hand. It makes a metallic clatter as it hits his shoe. Tan looks down and bends over to pick up a key on a keyring.
Hang on, this looks a little familiar...
As he holds up the key in front of him, it's then he notices it. No.69.
Colours and shapes suddenly form around him in a hurried blur until there he is, standing in front of his dorm, on that first night.
"So here you are." A voice speaks as if out of nowhere. Tan could hear the voice travelling over his left shoulder. The voice of Mr Bell.
"Why am I here?" Tan asks, too unnerved to turn around.
"Where your journey starts Tan. You now get a second chance to meet the desires you were previously forcing down. You know you cannot resist the power of boys love, so don't fight it. Be one of us." The voice begins to echo as it reaches the end of the sentence and causes Tan to now turn around, but there is no one there. Just the bustle of the corridor.
He looks again at his key.
Do I really want to do this?
Maybe it would be better to get this whole thing out of his system. But how deep was this rabbit hole and how far would he fall?
He breathes in and out to compose himself before lifting up the key and inserting it into the lock.
Ok, here we go...
