Episode 3| Gordan Prep

HER Dior black ankle boots complimented the relatively short navy blue and golden yellow uniform skirt that stopped just above her knees. It had also been noted that it seemed as though the girl wanted to bleed into the background. Though after she'd checked out the girl's instagram, that felt a bit off to Alice. Alice thought of the girl as more outgoing and more elite than she came off as. Of course her bag and shoes screamed elite, but the girl herself didn't make the cut.

"Alice, quit staring, it's rude." Fallon interrupted the other girl's thoughts.. The two girls decided to hitch a ride together in Alice's new Bentley that hadn't even made it to the country yet. It was a present from her parents apologizing for being too busy to bother to actually come back home. They would've invited Alex if it weren't for Fallon's suspicious reaction of not wanting to bother him and if he hadn't said he was fine riding in their older car, which was relatively still new. Alice saw the tension, and curious to know what it was about, but she knew Fallon or Alex would spill sooner or later. They could never keep secrets.

"At least I'm not giving her a death stare." Alice said to Fallon nodding at Demetrius, who openly glared at the girl. Fallon had explained the rivalry between the two, yet Alice didn't understand. She and her parents may not have been as close as Demetrius and his father, but she knew that parental rivalries were just that. She'd never hate someone because her parents hated them. In actuality, she might actually like them.

Standing with Demetrius was Alex and Noah. Alex understood why he had a distaste in the girl. He for a fact knew that family rivalry was important. It had been how his family was with the Johnson family. Who is the Johnson family? Exactly. Noah on the other hand disagreed with both guys. The new girl had a pretty good figure and he could see her in his bed. If it were his family rivaling, he'd make sure they were Romeo and Juliet, only dying to get each other in bed.

Fallon and Alice found themselves over to where the guys were. Alice greeted each guy with a kiss on the cheek, while Fallon gave all of them hugs-including Alex- which was awkward, but they both played it off cool. Alice naturally found her 5'9 frame leaning on Demetrius' 6'1 frame. Fallon stood awkwardly by Alex. "If you keep glaring your eyes will get stuck." Alice told him.

Those words immediately got Demetrius to look away from the girl. "Hmm?" He questioned, he hadn't noticed that Alice and Fallon even joined in with the trio of guys. "Oh... Wassup ladies," He greeted his friends, receiving a wave from Fallon and a look from Alice. "What?"

"Just because your father doesn't like her mother, doesn't mean you can't like her." Alice told him wisely. "Our parents' battles are not our own battles."

When about to give her a rebuttal, Xander and Ichika approached the group. Fallon was the first to notice, she tried to not act uncomfortable as they approached. She'd been able to avoid Xander, Alex, and Ichika after the ball, but the aftermath was still there. Everytime she looked at the three, all she saw was Xander and Alex connected at the mouth and it wasn't to perform CPR. But she had to pretend everything was fine. Alex is still her 'perfect' boyfriend, while Xander was ichika's. "Hey guys!" Fallon said to the couple as she plastered a bright smile on her face.

Xander gave his usual smile to the group, while Ichika only flipped her hair at the group. It was her way of a greeting. The couple clad in the school's mandatory uniforms, though Xander wore a pair of Versace loafers and an Hermes watch, while Ichika wore Hermes sneakers with a few pieces of jewelry from Versace to match Xander's shoes.

The group then began to commence in gossip. Though they were the golden crew of Gordan prep, they did talk about a few rumors that Ichika had heard. Whether or not they were true wasn't ever questioned. Even though Ichika tend to come off as cold or standoffish. The girl is relatively friendly and will talk her behind off. In the eyes of her friends and her fellow classmates, she was the vision of perfection. Her father worked overseas in Shanghai, China. He owned an oil business there and she often spent her summers there with him. Her mother had a home and party decor empire throughout the country. Though not together, her parents held an image that their family held.

Mid-conversation, the bell for class rang dismissing them all to their first class of the day.

It was only lunch time, but Justice had been ready to throw in the towel. Despite coming from a school and a month or so ahead of Beverly Circle and Gordan Prep, she'd felt like she was the one behind. She expected to come to the school and to be working on things they'd already known where she'd come from or that somehow the universe would make school be where she was in her learning. If the universe could put her in a show, the universe could control how difficult and easy her schooling was. Not to mention the fact that in shows like this, school wasn't important. Of course, the main characters went to school, but they were barely in class or in a school building.

She could bet that the BC kids weren't even in the very exquisite looking dining hall. It looked like something straight out of a Harry Potter movie. The long wooden tables filled with students each of them chatting it up with others. What stood out the most was that the school had waiters and waitresses on call to take the orders of the students. Menus in the hands of the students as they gave their orders in either a nice or not so kind way. She scanned the enormous crowded hall for the people she'd wanted to avoid all day. She shook her head trying to relax. They weren't here and she'd known that. Students had the option of eating outside of school. The Beverly Circle crew would never eat in the school's cafeteria. There wasn't a scene with this set on Beverly Circle. She knew that because she knew that the characters always ate at Britney's. Britney's was where all the people who were anybody ate lunch. The Beverly Circle teens, and their wannabes ate there.

Justice exhaustedly walked to a random table and sat in the chair. These heels were killing her feet. She'd insisted on non-heels, at least sandals or flats, but Diana was completely against it. Apparently since it was her first day she had to make a statement. But then again, she was supposed to be making friends with the Demetrius, and the rest of his friends. She refused to do that, if she was going to be here, she was going to be here her way only.

"Ummm, I think you're in the wrong place." The sound of a voice that is too low to be a female, and not familiar to her at all. Justice looked at where the voice came from. Next to her sat a boy with dark brown surfer hair with matching eyes and light freckles sprinkled his nose. He had a blank look on his face that gave the girl an intimidating vibe.

"Excuse me?" She asked the guy confused. What did he mean? Did he know she wasn't supposed to be here? How did he know that she didn't belong here, but before panic could settle on her face, someone else spoke up.

"Leave her alone Chase," The girl sat on my right, while Chase sat on my left. "I'm sorry about him, I'm Zelmira. Zelmira Abassi. " She said. Zelmira had dark skin like Justice, but a shade or two lighter, with a gold highlight. . Her jet black in silk loose curls fell down the academy issued blazer, that stopped just above her waist. Her face was soft with a light hint of makeup. She pointed to Chase, "And he's Chase Ehrlich."

Zelmira continued to talk as she spoke to Justice. "You have to excuse him, he's not used to your type sitting with us."

Justice was sure the two didn't mean any harm by their comments, but Justice was only confused. Why wouldn't she sit with them? Isn't everyone here supposed to be elite. "And why wouldn't I?"

Zelmira seemed too embarrassed to answer, she'd expected Justice to run away from them atr learning. So Chase took over.

"We're scholarship kids." Chase answered as if it was something to be ashamed of. And it may have been in here, but where Justice came from it wasn't.

So what, they were smart enough to get into an elite school. She didn't understand the embarrassment. "Ummm, okay." She then decided to flip through the cafeteria menu in front of her. She was impressed by how fancy the menu was. It was as descriptive as a menu at a fancy restaurant. "What do you guys recommend?" She asked the two.

Zelmira and Chase on the other hand didn't know whether to be shocked or joyful. Whenever they tell anyone they were here on scholarships, people tend to make up excuses to leave and never talk to them again, or they start to taunt, mock, or insult them.

Neither of them said anything, until Justice looked up from her menu to look at them. Zelmira was the first to speak up. "Well, pretty much anything on the menu is good."

"Yeah, except for anything with pork or shellfish." Chase spoke quickly after Zelmira. He was trying not to get flustered. "It's against our religions." He mumbled looking down.

"Cool," Justice said smiling sweetly at the two.

"You guys will never guess what i just heard?" Ichika said dramatically as rapidly texted on her phone.

Everyone looked up at her, wondering what she was going to say. Ichika was always updated on the latest drama. And she'd keep them updated. That was the only reason she was still their group besides the fact of who her parents were.

"I heard from Jazmin, who heard from David, who heard from Fraiya that the new girl is eating with the SKs." She gossiped, a slight look of disgust on her face. She wasn't the type to be hateful or judge because of her social class, but she did know that social status quotes are meant to be followed. Justice wasn't meant to be sitting with the SKs with her social status.

Demetrius shrugged with a scoff. He hadn't cared where the girl sat or who the girl sat with, as long as she didn't bump into him or bother him, he was fine.

Alice on the other hand was furious. She began to toss around her uneaten salad with a tad bit force. First the girl ignored their existence, and now she sat with the lower class. How could the girl get any worse? She hadn't worshipped them, or even tried to join them. Who did this nobody think she was?

Fallon sighed and continued to flip through her book. She was reading some popular fantasy book, and drinking her latte. She didn't want to be a part of this conversation. Her opinion was controversial. She didn't think it was a big deal if Justice ate with kids on scholarships. She herself would probably do the same if she didn't eat with the Beverly Circle crew.

Noah found amusement in this situation. He mocked both Ichika and Alice. "OMG! She sat with actual people instead of sitting alone in a restroom stall." He made his voice high pitched and tried to add a girly edge to it. This caused him to be shoved by Ichika.

Both girls now sporting small smiles, everyone else at the table let out small laughs. "We don't sound like that!" Ichika said.

The group continued to goof off as their lunch hour continued.

Hiii!! Long time no write! (Yes I know I'm lame and corny!) Anyways, I randomly got inspiration to continue to write this story... So I guess I'm back, until writer's block strikes again. This chapter came easier to me surprisingly.

What did you guys think of Zelmira and Chase? And before you guys ask, yes Zelmira is Muslim and Chase is Jewish. I wanted to not only be diverse in race and ethnicity, but also in religion. Beware conservative Christians are coming soon.

I'm seeing that I'm gaining readers. So I'm going to start dedicating chapters to people voting, commenting, and adding my book to a reading list. To get a shoutout please vote and comment!

My first shoutout/dedication is to imani_cole_xo, THANK YOU FOR VOTING ON BEVERLY CIRCLE THAT HONESTLY MEANS A LOT TO ME!

I have a ton of more to go, so if you've voted and added my story to a reading list, a dedication is coming soon!

Another thing, random question, what are you guys comfort shows?

I have three: On My Block, The 100, and Shameless (U.S). These three shows are my all time favorite shows, so anytime I'm in a mood, they make me feel better.
