It was nine am and my alarm was going off.

Striker had stayed at my house last night, and now we had to get ready for school.

I was thinking about just skipping, but  Striker wants me to go.

I rolled out of bed and went to the bathroom to get started on straightening my hair.

I got in there and decide to throw it up in a lazy bun and call it good. I put on a little bit of eyeliner and massacre. I went back into my room and grabbed my Hollister sweats and slipped them on then went to my closet and grabbed my Three Days Grace t-shirt i got at their concert last fall.

I went into the living room to find Striker cooking eggs and bacon. She was already dressed and had her makeup done.

"Smells really good Strike."

"Thank you. My mom taught me, before she passed away."

"That's sweet you remember things like that. But do I have to go to school?"

Striker looked at me and sighed. "I know your in pain Tavia but skipping school is just going to cause problems." she placed two plates and mugs of coffee. I sat down and poured French vanilla creamer and sugar in mine and started to eat.

After I finished I rinsed my plate and went to brush my teeth. I grabbed my purse and my cell phone of the dresser. I  dug Sarah's keys out of my purse and headed for the car where Striker was waiting for me.

Striker had brought her truck but Sarah normally takes her to school and brings her home, so she decided to ride with me.

We pulled up in the school parking lot kinda earlier then when we are suppose to. We had close to an hour of free time. After ten minutes Daniel and Jeanie pulled up next to the car.

"Morning Striker, Tavia. How are you this morning?" Jeanie asked when she got out of the car. I looked away from Jeanie. She is one of King's ex girlfriends slash stalker. 

"We are fine,now if you don't me and Tavia have to go. "  Striker said in a irritated way.

We walked over to the courtyard and sat at one of the benches. I put my ear buds and layed my head down on my arms. Sixx Am was telling me how life is beautiful. If only it really was. King was still in the hospital and I have a major migraine and stuck at this God awful school for the next eight hours.

Soon I felt someone sit beside me. I wanted to look up, but then again I didn't really want to. They pulled my ear bud out and I was forced to look up and see who it was. I came face to face with one of my friends, Taylor. She had her dark blue hair pulled into her normal pony tail. She had on black skinny jeans and a yellow shirt with a penguin on the front. She had a weird style for a girl like her. 

"Tavia, why do you have your music so loud? I could scream from the other side of the courtyard and you still wouldn't have heard me."

"Sorry Tay just alot on my mind today." I said grimly and looked away. Taylor just smile, "Its ok I totally understand."

Someone had walked up behind Tay and I but I didn't see who it was at first. It was definitely a guy by the sound of the voice.

"Hey. Taylor can I have my IPod back, please?"  I had a sudden realization of who was talking to Taylor. It was her brother Tylor, they were naturally cousins until he transferred here from Arkansas where he was living with his mom. She passed away and his father didn't want him so Taylor's mom adopted him then making them brother and sister.

Tylor was two grades above us making him a Junior and us Freshmen. He came to Cleveland last year before Christmas. He was very popular with the girls in our grade and in his, but i honestly could say i didn't like him last year. I finally looked up at him and Taylor and was stunned by a beautiful smile that was aimed to me not Taylor. He looked so hot today. Ok, so I said I didn't like him last year, but this year is different. He has changed in my eyes. It could be that most of my summer break was spent with him and Tay. I already know he likes me, Taylor may or may not have told me, but he was never really showed it.

"Oh, Tavia I didn't realize that was you." Tylor had said but I barely caught any of it because of my ear buds.

"She probably cant hear Ty. She has had Sixx AM screaming at her all morning." Taylor said smirking at me. I pulled out my ear buds. "For your information i heard everything he said so ha, Taylor." I said with a half laugh. Tylor looked at me confused. Great. Now he knows somethings wrong. Well, I can be expecting a text from him in first hour.
