Chapter 44

They didn't stay at Hazel's house for long after they were told the fact their parents were acting odd. They were surprised their parents were still there in the first place, that in itself was odd for them. They had more important things to deal with than having parents who wanted to control their lives.

When they got to the fae house , they walked straight through the door. "You guys could have locked it you know?" Laylian said as she looked around her living room. She pointed to the door and stared at the people strewn around the room, they seemed to have made themselves at home. "And you are cleaning this up, we don't have cleaners." There was a huff at the end of her sentence as she gestured to the food packages on the floor.

"I would be rather concerned if you did if i'm honest." Acheron said as he ate another chip . "H-how do you work this thing by the way? I've read about them but i don't actually know how to use them." He pointed towards the television. He was probably one of the only fae who did not know how to turn on a television. The royal household was one of the only places in the fae dimension without a television, they preferred to be more traditional.

"You press the big red button." Sylvester said shortly as he attempted to hide a grin. He wasn't making fun of Acheron as he was equally as confused when he first came to the human dimension, though it is nice to know something that a noble didn't.

"Told ya so!" Landso chuckled and cheered happily, he was in his element right now . He was looking at all the technology that he could find, wondering what everything did and showing off his book knowledge. He was becoming rather annoying to Vansilla and Acheron but Addamak humoured the boy's interest and answered all questions that he had.

"Anyways-" Kelso chimed in as she stuck her head around the living room corner, she was wearing her pajamas still, much to everyone's slight awkwardness. In the fae dimension it would be unusual to see someone wearing pajamas. At least for the royals it was, usually they would put their night clothes on in their room right before bed. It was a fact which shocked her when she first found out, though it made sense, she had known some humans who did that. She was wearing plaid pajama pants and a white baggy t-shirt, nothing too bad. "I assume none of you need anything to eat or drink?" there was a slight chuckle as she looked around the room.

There was a chorus of 'no thank you's of varying politeness thrown towards her as she walked into the room, she sat on the settee next to vansilla and Laylian whilst Sylvester and Tyrell sat themselves down on the floor. "Actually can i have that?" Tyrell pointed to the remote which was in Acheron's hand. Acheron shoved and passed it gingerly over to him. "Thank you." The television quickly turned onto a blank screen.

"What are you doing?" Vansilla asked curiously. Tyrell had started to take some things out of a black bag and was putting wires into the television. There was no reply but not before long the colour of the carpet came into view on the television. "Oh that's a good idea." She figured out what was happening quite quickly as Sylvester came through the door with his journal, nobody had noticed him sneaking out quietly.

"Thank you." Tyrell said politely as he took some pictures out of the journal and placed then underneath the camera so they appeared on the screen. "Okay so this is what we have-" He presented them with a list of the symbols from the place. "We sort of figure that any book would do but we have no clue why there's a bird on there or a house. Those things would be rather difficult."

"To say the least." Acheron took a deep breath as he leant forward and clasped his hands together, mimicking his younger brother. "Though it wouldn't be so hard for a fae to create a house or bird...the place seems to like humans and fairness." His eyes glanced towards the humans for a moment , the tension calming a little bit. The past few days had made the fae more comfortable around humans, or more specifically around Tyrell , though they were still a bit uncomfortable.

"Were these in any particular order?" Landos asked the four who had experienced the place. "Or perhaps should we go there to figure things out? Maybe they had to be done in a particular order?" There were so many variables going through Landos' mind at the moment. There could be many different ways of doing this which could end in disaster for them. It would be much easier for them to think they were the only ones affected by what they were going to do. Despite it affecting all of humanity.

"That would probably help." Addamak nodded his head calmly, staring at the pictures. "Those are excellent pictures, Kelso . i'm glad to see you're making use of that camera." The comment made Kelso's cheeks red and she buried her face in Lalyians' shoulder with a small 'thank you'. "We should go tomorrow , the sooner we get this sorted the better."

As soon as he finished talking Tyrells' phone began to ring. The twins jumped at the sound and looked at eachother strangely. There was no reason for anyone to call either of them. After a couple of seconds he pulled out his phone and answered it . It was an unknown number , which means it could be anyone. He only had about five contacts in his phone; laylian, sylvester, hazel, kelso and his cousin. It could be anyone.

"Hello?" Tyrell's voice was hesitant as he answered the phone. His eyes widened in shock. Kelso watched her twin curiously and gestured for him in a way, ushering him to continue. He mouthed 'mam' , consequently Kelso's face mirrored Tyrell's. They couldn't afford to get side-tracked again. They had no time to deal with their parents.
