Chapter 43

With some convincing Addamak let the three fae join in the adventure, though they would have to sneak out of the castle and return each night. He knew that he was not aiming to get on the royals bad sides again.

"So..." Vansilla said as she exited the portal. "Where to?" They hadn't really discussed this, it was a silent agreement between the two couples that they would go and see Hazel and explain to her that everything is alright. Not to mention the fact that last she had heard Tyrell was missing.

"We" Kelso gestured to the four of them. "Are going to our nanna's and making sure that she is alright. I'm sure she would be worried sick about her grandchild who was taken unexpectedly to another dimension..."there waa a tiny bit of bitterness in her tone. Kelso knew not to blame the young girl though she had to direct her anger somewhere. "Though i'm not sure what your plan is..." She said calmer this time, she was dreading her nanna's reaction.

"We'll head to your house." Landso announced smartly, before holding his hand out. "Do you have the keys? It would be nice to get in the ...normal way.'For those who had just met Landso they thought he seemed very sensible and sweet. He seemed to be the kind of person to do everything in a group project because they were determined to get good grades. The key was quickly handed to him as they started to walk through the woods.

"It feels ...different." Laylian said as she felt the atmosphere surrounding them. It felt darker and colder, something which was unusual. "Can you feel it too?" The three fae teens shrugged, they weren't really paying attention to what it was like usually in the human dimension. Addamak on the other hand nodded slowly.

"They must be making a plan or something, spreading their numbers." He mumbled to them before he paused. "Has anyone ever asked how they managed to gather fae or dark fae? I know the gathering of the fae would be somewhat simple, if a fae stood out in the human dimension then they may be targeted. Though there shouldn't be any other dark fae in this dimension...other than Sylvester"

"It wasn't really something we thought about much." Laylian said , holding Kelso closer. "After being kidnapped by them and being abandoned in the forest...we didn't think about them much. Until very recently." She felt daft for not thinking about these questions. "We were a little preoccupied learning about the place and the prophecy."

There was more and more questions piling up that were waiting to be addressed and discussed , though the evening was coming in and they wanted to get home. They dropped the fae off at Laylian and Sylvester's house before they went to Hazel's. Before they opened the door they took a deep breath, they spent so long doing this they didn't even have to open the door before it swung open and the two of them were engulfed in a hug.

"Oh dears! I'm so glad you're safe!"Hazel was almost crying tears of relief as she pulled back to look at her grandchildren and analysing every inch of their faces. "You are alright aren't you? What happened?" She didn't wait for an answer before she had stepped out of the house and rushed towards Laylian and Sylvester. "Oh it's so good to see you! Come in come in."

The kettle was immediately put on as she made sure they all sat comfortably in the living room, Kelso had gone upstairs to get washed and changed , she had been wearing the same clothes as she had the night Tyrell and Lilian were taken and she felt extremely disgusting. It was one of the most refreshing feelings coming downstairs in pyjamas after having a very quick bath.

"So what happened?" Hazel couldn't' sit still , eagerness taking over. "Dawn and her grand children came over the other evening and explained some things to me , though they only told me as much as they know." There were a few moments of hesitation between the tw couples. They knew that in the fae dimension there were no chances of being heard or eavesdropped on, by anyone who could make a difference or take advantage of the new information.

"Putting it shortly and sweetly..." Kelso said as she looked around the room, gaining confirmation for her to continue. "Laylians' family are mean and tried to bring her back to the fae dimensions and they accidentally took Tyrell too." She hoped that they weren't near or able to hear them. It was the easiest thing to do at the moment. She wasn't necessarily lying to her nanna , she just wasn't telling her the entirety of the truth.

"That's all?" Hazel furrowed her eyebrows. "Hazel said-" There was a moment of silence as she saw the alarmed look on the teens faces. "Oh i see...shall we contact her and ask her to come as soon as she can?" her tone dropped "Or would you prefer to sort this out on your own?"

Tyrell and Kelso felt bad . They knew that they wouldn't be able to tll Hazel at the moment and they weren't entirely sure if they should tell the adults at all. There were plenty of people involved, though it wouldn't hurt to have a few extra brains to try and figure this thing out. "We'll see in the morning." Tyrell muttered as he rubbed at his eyes. "It's been a long few days, we can't rest but i'd rather not...have more social interaction before i have a good sleep."

He wasn't that tired but he knew his twin was, he didn't particularly want to talk to more people until he saw a nice sunrise and was able to feel the sun on his face. Though now he was back in England, he wasn't counting on seeing the sun. "So are you having a night in?" Hazel asked, curious to know if she was going to make a big meal.

They stopped for another moment. THey didn't know. They knew the fae were at laylian and Sylvester's house , though there was no talk about what would happen that evening. "We could call the house? See what they want to do." Sylvester declared as he stood up, ready to go and get his phone. "By the way...the mean family? Yeah some of them are here as well as a royal child." Hazel took in a deep breath , it was more reason they should have at least a small talk int he morning.

"Actually...there's something else." Kelso groaned and buried her head in Laylian's shoulder. 'No, there can't be more. This is enough stress' ran through her head. Only to be stopped at the next line . "Your parents ...they're acting...strange."
