Chapter 38

The teens met in the middle of the clearing which they found themselves in . Kelso and Laylian leaped into each other's arms , in a fit of passion and excitement their lips met. It wasn't how they expected their reunion to be. Laylian was certainly not expecting for her father to see her kiss Kelso , she was sure he would not have too many questions or disapproving beliefs but she had hoped to tell him. The moment had caught up to them.

The moment was still magical, they could feel the sparks between them as their lips tingled with passion where the contact was being made. They hadn't been this close in a long while, heck they hadn't been close in a while. It seemed like the further apart they were the closer they wished to be so now they had the opportunity , they jumped at it. Literally, Kelso was in Laylian's arms .

Tyrell and Sylvester on the other hand were in a loving embrace. Their passion was more of a silent one. They basked in the peace the other one brought, the comfort of being in eachothers arms. Nothing else in the world mattered to them at that moment, all they cared about was that the other male was there with them.

Addamak and Addafor stood there awkwardly watching the happy reunion between the two couples.They didn't want to interrupt anything. It was obvious that they all meant a lot to each other and they deserved time together. They deserved to be in each others' arms. Though Addafor was incredibly surprised about how his daughter's ace lit up. It was like she was flying all over again. The same expression of joy and freedom was on her face now as it was when she rose up on her wings for the first time.

"I missed you." Kelso mumbled against Laylian's shoulder as she was now simply hugging onto the fae. She looked like a toddler, or a koala . She had her legs around Laylian's waist and had her head on her shoulder. Laylian had no issues keeping Kelso there, she was stronger than she looked and Kelso was lighter then she looked. Addafor was reminded of when his daughter looked after her brothers when they were younger.

"I missed you too...so incredibly much." Laylian had tears in her eyes which she wouldn't show, her emotions spoke through her tone. She was on the verge of bursting into tears. Even though she had Tyrell with her, she was starting to feel like she had come back from a wonderful dream, a dream where she found happiness and love.Only to wake up in the fae dimension and starting to live her ordinary day. Kelso was proof it was all real.

Sylvester and Tyrell hadn't said a word to each other. They let their actions and presence speak for them. They felt safe and secure. Their happiness radiated off them in waves , it made the forest look much less dark then it had before they laid eyes on each other. Everything seemed brighter and lighter, their moods and the tension they held included.

It was starting to get too awkward for the older males , they didn't want to disturb the moment by speaking to each other . Their emotions wanting to burst out , they were both incredibly happy about the reunion between the four of them. They would be able to figure out the prophecy and why the humans , or the fae, were so special.

It all got a little bit too awkward for Addafor's liking and so he cleared his throat with a small smile. "It's lovely to see this uh...reunion but please. We have much to talk about." He wanted to interrogate his daughter and find out all the information about their relationship. He now had a slightly better understanding of what she was leaving behind in the other dimension. He knew that she would be upset leaving Sylvester, though he hadn't expected her to build a romantic relationship.

"Brother please." Addamak said fondly , he somewhat resembles Santa Claus, "They have been parted . It is difficult for partners to not be together, you of all people should know this." His tone turned bitter and his eyes turned cold. Those who heard what he had said were rather curious on what it was in reference to. Though they were rather distracted.

"Now,now no need to bring up that topic." Addafor looked ashamed and sympathetic. He didn't want to bring back the monsters of the past, especially not around the kids. "Lets just get them all somewhere safe, i can cover for them if necessary." He cleared hsi throat and looked at the floor.

Addamak raised an eyebrow at his brother. "Hmm? Is Laidra approving this behaviour?" The bitter tone did not go away , if anything it increased. They nwo had every teens' attention. They were waiting for the tension to ease before they said anything but Laylian saw no chance of this happening.

"Wait wait hold up." She raised her hand, She had put Kelso down and now had her arm wrapped around Kelso's waist."Brother?" Her eyebrows raised in question. She hadn't known that she had an uncle , she was starting to wonder just how much was being kept from her. "And what does mother have to do with this?"

"I'm sure your parents have kept a world of things from you." Addamak interrupted hastily, before Addafor had a chance to open his mouth . "it's understandable you do not know of me . I have been in the human dimension for quite some time and I didn't exactly leave on the best note."

"You kissed my wife, that's not the best note!" Addafor burst out. Spreading his arms wide in exaggeration. "Of course i would be upset!" It was extremely awkward for Tyrell, Kelso and Sylvester. The twins wondered if this was how the fae felt when they were having family drama.

"Ah well that makes me out to be cruel. She wasn't your wife at the time. " Addafor pointed out somewhat smugly. "Now you go back to your wife, cover for the kids and we can discuss the prophecy,fate and basically decide the future of the world...bye bye now." Addamak went to spin Addafor around and the other man just let him. There was no reasoning with his brother's chaos.
