Chapter 16

"woah..."The three teenagers said as they exited into another forest. You could clearly telly he difference between the fae dimension and the human dimension. There was a lot less care put into the forests of the human dimension. Though it was rather debatable if this crowd of trees could be defined as a forest.

"Magnificent!" Addafor said as he stood amazed , he was turning on the spot and looking around. There was nos sign of a path but there was a lot of noise coming from a specific direction. After he cleared his throat he turned to the teens. "Oka children,what do you think?"

"Magical."

"Weird."

"Meh"

Vanilla, Landso and Acheron said at the same time . their different reactions made them all look at each other strangely. Vansilla was amazed at the different world that was in front of them whilst Landso thought that the world was the same but only slightly different. Acheron wasn't too impressed at what surrounded him. It was trees and grass, the things that had surrounded him only a few moments ago before he walked into the portal.

"I was talking about a way to get to laylian..." Addafor shook his head but turned back towards where he could hear the noise coming from. "It's been a few weeks but she came through here and i doubt she got very far in such an...unusual world."

Addafor started to walk forwards, much to the surprise of the teens who hurried to catch up once they realized he was on the move. "Does he need to walk this quick?" Vansilla asked as she had to run to catch up to him. Though it was clear Addafor could hear her he made no comment , if anything he quickened his steps.

"You shouldn't have asked that..." Addafor's sons' groaned at their friend who sighed as she started to pick up the pace. They had no time to stop and look at what they were surrounded by. The glitter of a silver packet grabbed their attention now and again but before they knew it they were near the fence.

Addafor spent five minutes watching the three teenagesrs figure out a way to get over the fence. There was attempts at squishing through the wood , climbing over, standing on eachothers backs ...it was an entire mess but somehow they managed it. There was a point where the teenagers were on the other side of the fence and they were waiting for addafor to get over.

"Come on father" "what are you waiting for?" the three teenagers were getting rather freaked out by the smirkt hat was on Addafor's face . The smirk remained as Addafor stepped about three foot to the left and unlatched a black lock that was connecting the gate to the other side of the fence. Something that had went completely unnoticed by the teens .

"You kids need to be more observant." Addafor turned his face to see the teenagers with their mouths in the shape of a circle. "I must say that surprised me but i suppose this is a rather...unique situation so i shall let it slide." He took a moment to look around, there were only a few cars on the road as it was beginning to be rather late. "Now...where to go?"

"Well...logically-" Landso began to say before he was cut off by Vansilla and Acheron talking loudly. Landso was somewhat annoyed but he smiled through it . He was often teased for his logical thinking . though he doubted that this would go unnoticed by his father. He cleared his throat and tried to speak again. "If father's right then she wouldn't be too far...and thats a school. Laylian may be enrolled?"

There were confused looks between the other three, well Addafor pretended that he knew exactly what his snow as talking about by nodding his head in agreement and looking towards the school which was across the street. "How would she have gotten enrolled? She has no qualifications?" Acheron asked with a rather intrigued look on his face.

With a glance Landso knew exactly what was going on in Acheron's mind . "she must have came over with Sylvester-" The other teen's eyes widened in realization as they had actually forgotten about the dark fae. "He would have been able to get them in easily"

"Ah yes Sylvester of course!" Addafor clapped his hands twice with a fond smile on his face. "I had forgotten that Laylian had taken him along, i'm so pleased that he gets to make a life for himself!" This caused all three children to look at him strangely. "What? Don't tell your parents.-" He said whilst looking pointedly at Vansilla and then His sons "-but not all dark fae are bad."

Addafor spread his arms out as though gesturing to everywhere around him. He was enjoying himself way too much considering the situation. It felt freeing for him to not be in the fae dimension . He didn't have people breathing down his neck every two minutes awaiting the latest news on the rulers.

"So what are we going to do?" Vansilla crossed her arms. "We now know that Laylian probably is a student at the school, but that doesn't give us more information on where she is now. We can't exactly stay out here..." She shivered as she looked around the rather dirty street, with crisp packets and glass scattered across the floor.

"We could always sneak in." Acheron suggested as he walked closer to the road and crossing after he looked both ways. The other three did the same after a car had passed, though by now Acheron was near the gate.

"That...may not be the worst idea. No matter how,unlawful it is."Landso muttered as he looked at the fence to see that there was no electricity or other safety precautions on it. "We could easily get in, by making a key. Look around for student information and hopefully find Laylians' address if she has one."

Vanilla would have commented 'well she wouldn't exactly be living in a tree would she?' but she knew Laylian and Sylvester well enough to know that they would have lived in the forest if it was the norm of the dimension. Instead she sighed and jumped over the rather small fence. "Come on then...time to break into a school."
