There is a lot that goes into crafting a good story. It isn't simply having an idea that will launch your writing, you need to have the discipline to follow through and complete your story. It is a lot of work. From the inception of your idea to writing, working through plot issues, editing, and cover design. And much more, it is something you must commit to fully. 

What will you find in this book?

I will hand over any information that might be of help to aspiring authors.

I do not claim to be any sort of expert in writing. I have no degrees or little pieces of paper declaring me any sort of teacher or anything. All I can do is impart to you the things that I've learned along the way. Things I've been taught by other authors, editors, or people I know in the industry. 

You can listen to me or choose to ignore me, it's entirely up to you. There is certainly not one way to do things and the way I approach something might be different than how you do it. If something works for you then do it. 

I've been writing since 2009. I began writing out of sheer boredom after I was laid off from my job during the recession. I did it because I've always loved reading and when I was younger I wanted to be an author. I stepped away from that dream due to an English teacher I had that was a strict by the rules writer and she was rather mean to anyone who stepped outside the box. I'm so far outside the box, I can't even see it anymore. 

When I began writing I certainly didn't know any of the 'rules' one is supposed to adhere to. I've learned as I've gone alone, made mistakes, and recovered. If I knew then what I know now, It would have made things a lot easier.
