I flew down to where Ezra fell. I didn't know why I wanted to save him so badly. I'd been in someone's pocket for a while. I heard Ezra asked where I was. He cared about me, so I had to save him. I caught him in my claws just before he hit the ground. I flew up to where I was before I came out of my pokeball, then landed. I set Ezra down and saw a human running over. I stared at him as he hugged Ezra. Did he know him.
"Thank you." He told me.
"Kanan?" Ezra asked and looked up at him.
"Ezra!" Kanan grabbed him and hugged him again. Then Kanan set him down.
"Is this heaven? Did I kill you instead?!" Ezra freaked out.
"No." Kanan said. Ezra looked at me.
"YEVETAL!" He ran over to me and hugged me. "I thought I lost you." He whispered.
"That's Yevetal?" Kanan asked.
"Yeah." Ezra said.
"He's pretty big." Kanan said smiling.
"Yeah." Ezra said. "But he saved my- wait a second..." Ezra looked at Kanan, who smiled.
"Yes Ezra." Kanan said. I didn't know what they were talking about. 
"YOU CAN SEE?!" Ezra hugged Kanan.
He was blind?! I thought.
"When did that start?" Ezra asked.
"When he flew by me." Kanan said pointing at me. Ezra put his hand as far up to my head as he could reach.
"Thank you again, Yevetal." He said. I leaned down so he could reach my head. He patted it.
"Kanan?" Sabine's voice came from Kanan's belt.
"Are you okay?" Kanan asked into a stick.
"I'm fine but Ezra's not." She said.
"What do you mean? he's standing in front of me." Kanan said.
"Oh." Sabine said. "I thought he died." Sabine said then hung up.
"I did too." Kanan said. Ezra climbed on top of me and held his hand out to Kanan. Kanan took it and they climbed on top of me. I flew up. I was finally free. I turned around and dived toward the ground. The wind in my face was even better than it had been five thousand years ago.
