Serena ran out of team flare's secret HQ. I heard her voice from behind me. I turned.
"We're all here. Even Leia!" Sabine laughed.
"Ezra?" I asked. I didn't hear his voice say anything. "What's wrong?" I asked. "Hera?" I asked. She stood beside me.
"Ezra didn't make it out." She said. I felt her looking around just to check.
"Ezra." I whispered. "Please make this a joke." I said.
"It's not?" Zeb asked. "Ezra would totally make us all think he was dead." Zeb tried to laugh.
Ezra is dead. I thought as tears flooded my cloth covered eyes.
