"Where's Ezra?" Hera asked for the millionth time today so I answered in the same way I have been.
"He'll be here." I tried to reassure her and me at the same time.
"Forget it!" Zeb hit the floorboard above him. We had been hiding under here for hours on end waiting for Ezra to come. The Empire was in the ship along with Vader. I knew there was no hope in fighting alone and blinded. I'd be dead within the first five minutes.
"He's not coming!" Zeb slumped down and crossed his arms. "We're doomed. "
"Aren't you just a little ray of sunshine," Hera teased.
"They'll come," my voice was shaking and I knew there was no way we'd ever be saved. We would die here if we didn't fight. So we need to fight. I put together my light saber. I'd done it so many times I could do it again being blind. I lifted up the floor board enough for Hera to see out. I clutched my light saber in my hand waiting to turn it on. Hera told me what she saw.
"I only see troopers." She said happily as I heard a gun shot and some explosives going off.
"You were wrong Zeb!" Hera bounced out of the floor and something hit me in the face. The floorboard. I felt my way out of the floor. Not two seconds after the board slammed shut, I found myself fighting a stormtrooper. My light saber seemed to glide around in my control. I deflected blasts although I couldn't see where they were coming from.
"Look out!" A familiar voice shouted. One I hadn't heard in too long.
"Ezra?" I faced the voice. My light saber slid from my hands as he took it and deflected blasts as I had been doing before. He takes my saber at random times now. It's become a routine.
Not long after that I reunited with my light saber as I pulled it into two pieces and hooked them on opposite sides if my belt.
"All gone." Ezra let me know as he shot the last storm trooper with my gun. He'd been using my weapons science he broke his light saber. He had his sling shot. He never used it though.
"Where have you been?" I asked. I hadn't heard from him in weeks and he knows it. He also didn't answer when I told him to come. One time I tried to contact him and all I got was static. I assumed he was dead after a few tries.
"I'll explain everything later, but now I really need to show you something important." He held my hand and pulled me through the ghost toward Chopper. I only ran into the wall twice. He dragged me along pretty fast and I had to guide myself laming the walls. I heard him stick something into Chopper as a reflection I couldn't see was revealed. I'll never know what it was because I still can't see anything.
"I found this disc in Maul's ship. A message Kalus addressed for Maul came to me instead and said this disc was secret battle plans and never to let them fall into rebels hands." He told us all about the message and how he needed to get to the power plant as fast as he could so he had to leave. I'd explode about him being in Maul's ship. He could have been killed. I wanted to ask why. Also have him explain his absence for almost three months. I wanted him to promise he'd never do it again, but I needed to hear about these secret battle plans he'd brought back with him.
"I need to go now!" He said and ran off along with Sabine and Serena. A little hedgehog with fire as spikes waved as Hera explained then bounced along after Ezra.
"How long has Serena been here?" I asked. After hearing three sets of feet stomp out of the ghost.
"No idea." Zeb admitted examining the plans.
"Oh! And Serena needs to show you something!" Ezra popped his head back in and shoved Serena forward.
"The thing is now on Ezra's head." Hera said robotically.
I could tell Serena was scared.
I tried to find out why by reading her mind. She thought about us not excepting her for her after she showed us whatever this is. She was also excited. She couldn't wait to show us. She would be the third.
"The third. What?" I asked her. I knew she was smiling.
"You'll see." She calmly stated. A few seconds later something hit me in the face.
"Ouch." Hera giggled.
"Sorry. It's hard to control anything." She apologized.
"The third. Force sensitive person." She jumped. I felt her landing knowing she jumped pretty high.
"You mean Jedi?" I corrected her. Not all Jedi were even human.
"That's all!" Ezra said then they all left the ghost to that power plant he briefly explained why he needed to go to. A fox hopped after them.
"Fennekin, Fennekin, Fenn." It repeated every time it touched the ground. Then it leaped back in the air and repeated the process. They left us with nothing else to do but find out about these battle plans the Sith must have.
