Unapologetic
Has it been this long since we've said a word?
Wish we would've parted with better terms than viral hurt;
I've wandered behind many eyes,
tore off their true form – they'd hidden well behind;
I'd hoped to replace what you stole from my once starry heart poured,
a hard stone was instead enamored;
Easier,
never shall let it slip again past from lips molten,
whisperer,
wilting memories shall be trapped within a fantasy frozen;
For this harboring spirit knows nothing of apology,
as what seeks again balance does not practice true honesty,
careful now as you go, stepping rocks can be rather sharp and wobbly.
