Our Dance
I don't wish to possess the heavy weight inscribed upon shoulders weaved,
bendable.... yet, un-acceptance to break mind retrieved –
How far will strength reside until I'm failing to give in?
Towards the erratic storms' portrayed villain –
Look next to me.... upon those earthly eyes,
witness visions, and I don't ask why;
He has a smile that can shield eyes from the petrifying world,
arms tight enough to erect walls which I'm fondly curled,
dance to self-imagined notes whirled,
hearts carried within rhythmed twirls;
no need for tangible melody for us to focus,
kiss lips beneath sweet breath doses,
fade not: we won't from the petals of lavender roses;
drifting only mine ears heartily ever had heard,
senses stirring from endearing words,
I... now gather my own self-worth.
