Entwined
I am not an Incarnate of the past,
no extraordinary legends frolic upon my grasp;
Epic memories do not inflame my vision,
I wield no ancient blade of excision,
nor do I seem to hold inherited prominence....
Yet, I do bare an extremity of common-sense;
I do hold two adoring hearts in bliss,
one of mine, and one of his;
An exchange of rings entwines us to be as one soul,
I take thee, all as you are,
my bright-lit star,
as I give you myself.... love,
and
whole.
