Bursting Onyx
Pleaded with myself to forget the past,
they may grasp most of all I have,
body – spirit played restless upon in laps,
this old soul shall never feel creeper fingers to pass;
Illusion bares no elucidation of fairness,
lacerations beaming loud, stammered cherish;
Under scolded wind,
we go sit,
wait – sterling eyes appear bursting onyx dimmed;
Memories have no worthy taste,
try squirming away unscathed,
they don't mind – yet , another rescind;
Tears trace instilled lens,
reminded lessons.
