& maybe I resemble regret in mine past,

perhaps inner demons amassed,

where the world was little to no good in forecast;

I could improvise an apology,

between us both, what would that accomplish now

for you or me?

Tricky friend life can quietly be;

but if one must know, I wasn't going to survive...

if mine heart had stayed,

left intuitively in time to catch sun's wandering shade;

Don't dare feel betrayed,

all memories shall witness a continued serenade;

there's zero weaklings here,

though -

every now and then, I may yet shed worried tears;

but one thing surely, I gave - mine essence encouraged,

follow rooted seedlings to stand brave -

shine presence flourished.
