Well like I said before, I'm trying to update more often so yeah. I can't believe this story has gotten over 400 reads!! Thank you all so much!! Okay, now on with the chapter.

Ash P.O.V 

Usually I'm not really happy about getting up early and having to go to school. But today was different, because this time, Sere's gonna be there and I'm so excited! Today I got up earlier that usually, and professor Kukui said I was practically radiating rays of excitement. I was way to eager to get to school that I started urging the professor to hurry up. 

"Ash whats with you? You've never been this excited to get to school, not that this sudden excitement is a bad thing, but any reason why?" Kukui asked. 

"Actually yeah, my best friend, Serena, is coming to the school today, and I guess I'm really excited" I said. 

"Okay then, lets get going!" he said, and started walking to the school, though I went at a faster pace than he was going. 

Eventually we got to the school, and I literally ran up the stairs to find...

...

... 

No one there. I was pretty upset because I had gotten up for nothings, but then I checked the time and realized that I was 15 minutes early, so of course no one was here. I decided to play with my Pokemon while I waited for everyone to arrive. Though 2 minutes later, the first one to show up was Lillie. I got up and went towards her to see if I could start a conversation to pass the time. 

"Hey Lillie! What are you doing here this early?" I asked her. 

"Oh hey Ash! I just like to get here early, I don't wanna risk being late" she replied, though I feel like there was something more to the story, but then again, Lillie is never late. 

"Oh I guess that makes sense" I said, though I start to get this weird feeling that something strange is gonna happen. 

"Ash..I.Uh.um..." she starts, though with uncertainty in her voice. 

"Yeah Lillie?" I ask. 

Though something strange is happening, she starts leaning towards me, trying to close the space between us. I remember this happening before though, with a different girl, Serena. I know what Lillie is trying to do, she's trying to kiss me, though trying is the key word. Not ever am I letting her kiss me, so I'm going to try to act dense. 

"Um, Lillie, what are you doing?" I ask, seeing if she gets the hint that I don't like her like that.

"Can't you see Ash? I like you a lot, more than a friend! And I'm trying to kiss you-" she says, but then I cut her off. 

"What's a kiss?" I say, hoping my pretend to be dense plan works, which seems like it did, because she just slapped her forehead, and I tried holding in a laugh. 

"Are you serious?" she asked, though did it looked like I was joking? I nodded in response, which cause her to smirk. 

"Why don't I show you what a kiss looks like then?" she said, and started leaning towards me much faster than before, barely giving me enough time to move.

"NO THANKS!" I said rather quickly, moving away from her. "I don't like doing things I'm not comfortable with, I hope you understand that I don't mean to hurt your feelings". 

"Ugh, okay" she groaned. "I guess I'll see you in class" 

"Sure, bye Lillie" I replied. 

No way am I ever telling anyone about this ever, maybe Sere but that's it. I actually felt pretty uncomfortable, because right now, the only girl I have eyes for is Sere, and I hope she feels the same way. But I hope telling her about this won't be awkward or will ruin our friendship, soon though, people start arriving at the school, with Kiawe and Mallow being the first ones I see. Okay maybe I'll tell them too, cause I'm terrible at keeping things to myself, no matter how much I want to. 

"KIAWE! MALLOW!" i yell, trying to get their attention, which works. 

"What is it Ash? DID SOMETHING HAPPEN TO SERENA?!?!?!" Mallow yelled back, but she was closer this time so it kinda hurt my ears. 

"Geez Mallow, can you get any louder?" Kiawe asked, clearing having the same pain I had. 

"No Mallow, nothing happened to her" I say, but really my mind was thinking 'i hope not' because no one really knows if someone's okay or not. "But something terrible did happen...TO ME!!" I complained, starting to fake cry. 

"What happened?" asked Kiawe. 

I told them everything, how I got here early in hopes that Sere would already be here, and how Lillie tried kissing me. Twice. After that story, both of them had a shocked expression, but Mallow's was a bit more obvious. 

"Oh boy, seems like Lillie also has a crush on you Ash" Kiawe said, making me feel kinda weird. 

"I'M SO CONFUSED!! I DON'T KNOW WHO TO SUPPORT!! I mean, I ship Ash and Serena but, Lillie's my best friend, uuggghhh!" Mallow complained, though I understand were she's coming from. 

"Its alright Mallow, now lets get to class so we can meet Se- I mean before we're late" I say, but I didn't want them finding out that Serena is coming to the school. Mallow is probably going to wait at the gates until Sere arrives and Kiawe's efforts to get her inside the school are going to fail. So might as well keep it a surprise. 

"Okay then, lets go!" Mallow said with excitement, and Kiawe just rolled his eyes. 

We arrived to class just as the bell rang, and the three of us sighed, glad we made it on time. Professor Kukui started talking about school things, but I wan't listening to any of it. I was pretty distracted though, thinking about Sere and when she was going to show up, and what she was gonna wear- wait it doesn't matter what she wears, all that really matters is that she shows up. Soon though, there's a knock at the door and it shows to revealed......... Principal Oak. Great. But someone was behind him, and it looked like a girl because she was wearing pink. 

"Well children, it looks like we have a new student" Principal Oak said. No. Way. She's actually staying at the school?!? "Everyone, please give a warm welcome to Serena!" were his last words before leaving the room.
