Hey guys! How long has it been since I last updated? Almost a month? Hehe, sorry, I didn't mean to make you wait so long. I was pretty busy with school and rehearsals so yeah. Anyways, lets get on with chapter 7! Don't forget to comment and vote, it really helps a lot!

Ash P.O.V 

Okay, here we go. You can do this Ash, you've talked to her before. How is this any different? Yeah, okay, I got this. I started making my way towards Serena, who was packing up her stuff. I noticed she looked different, instead of her usual pink color scheme, she had a green and yellow color scheme, with her hair in a side ponytail. Speaking of her hair, I noticed it grew a bit longer than when I had last seen her, and oh Arceus, it looked so soft, I wanted to touch it. 

I started running up to her, not being able to hold in my excitement. When I got to her, I wrapped my arms around her stomach, causing her to yelp. I started spinning her around, which led her to screaming, but I managed to calm her down, letting her know it was just me, her future boyfriend. Maybe. I hope. Wait what.

"AAHH! WHO'S DOING THIS?! LET ME GO!" Serena yelled, trying to get away, but I wasn't gonna let her go. 

"Relax Sere! It's just me, Ash!" I said, trying to calm her down and keep her in my arms. 

"ASH?!?" she asked, sounding shocked. 

"The one and only" I replied, smirking. 

I let her go so she can be able to see me. Looking at that beautiful face of hers again just makes me wanna hug her again. She looked up at me, smiling, guessing she was really happy to see me as well. We just kept staring at each other, lost in the others eyes. We kept that same position until I finally spoke up. 

"Hey Sere" I said, smiling probably one of the biggest smiles I've even smiled before. 

"Hi Ash" she replied, smiling as well. 

"How have you been?" I asked. 

"I've been good. Hoenn was really nice. How about you?" she asked. 

"I've been good as well. I caught some new Pokemon. Come on out guys!" I said, calling out my 3 new Pokemon, Litten, Rowlet, and Lycanroc. 

"Wow! They're really cool! And I bet they're really strong too!" she said. 

"You bet! Guys, this is Serena, my best friend!" I told my Pokemon. Though I noticed that her cheeks showed a bit of red, I wonder why.  But she just smiled. 

After introducing her to my Pokemon, she introduced me to her new Pokemon, which were a plusle and a minun. We kept talking for a while, but it started getting a bit late. Ugh, why won't time slow down just this once? 

"Well, it's getting kinda late so I think I should start heading back to my hotel" she said, unfortunately, however, I though of an idea to stay with her a little longer. 

"Could I walk you there? I wanna keep talking to you, if that's okay" I replied, hoping she'd let me walk her to her hotel. 

"Sure! Let's go!" she said, picking up her stuff heading to the sidewalk, with me right next to her.

Serena P.O.V 

OMA OMA OMA OMA OMA!!!! I can't believe Ash asked to walk me home!!! I can't believe I found him in Alola, talk about a coincidence. Wow. Not only did I find him here, but he also called me his best friend and offered to walk me to my hotel!!! And if you probably can't tell by now, I'm REALLY excited and happy. I really missed Ash a lot, ever since leaving Kalos, I always thought about him often. Speaking of when I left Kalos, he hasn't mentioned the kiss, which is kinda a good thing. I felt really embarrassed whenever I thought about it. 

"So Sere" Ash said, snapping me out of my thoughts. "How do you like it here in Alola?" he asked. 

"It's very different from Kalos, but it's really nice. The beaches are very pretty and the Pokemon are really cool!" I said. I hope I can visit the beach again, this time wish Ash. 

"So what are you doing tomorrow?" he asked, though I haven't really thought about what I was going to do.  

"I don't really know, I think I might explore a bit more" I replied. 

"Why don't you come to the Pokemon school with me? It's really fun and I bet the professor would love to meet you!" he offered. I've never heard of the Pokemon school here, but Ash said it's fun, so I guess I'll go. 

"Sure! I'd love to meet the professor! Do you know anyone else in your class that I might know?" I asked, wondering if Mallow and her friends went to school with Ash. 

"Yeah actually. My friends Mallow, Lana, Lillie, Kiawe, and Sophocles all go to school with me" he said. Glad I knew the rest of Ash's friends here, though I hope they all like me, in a friend way that is. 

"That's great!" I replied. But before I knew it, we arrived at my hotel. Dang it. "Well it looks like we're here. Thanks again Ash, for walking me here" 

"No problem Sere!" he said, and I'm pretty sure that's the third time he's called me Sere. Hmm, wonder where that nickname came from. Might as well ask him.

"Hey Ash, why do you call me Sere? You haven't forgotten my real name right?" I asked, hoping he actually hasn't forgotten my real name. Though he started laughing. 

"Haha, no Serena, I didn't forget your name. I just thought Sere was a cute nickname I'd call you, is that okay?" he replied. 

"Yeah that's fine, I was just wondering" I said, but it was really getting late. "I'd better go now, so I'll see you tomorrow kay?" I said, turning back to my hotel, but Ash's voice stopped me. 

"Hold on!" he said, grabbing my arm gently so he didn't hurt me. I started blushing from the sudden contact. "Do you have a phone?" he asked. 

"Yeah, I do" I replied, remembering I got one in Hoenn, thanks to May. 

"Could I get your number?" he asked, scratching the back of his head, though he sounded kinda... nervous?? 

"Yeah sure!" I exclaimed, handing him my phone and receiving his. I put my number in and gave it back to him. From the outside, I seemed pretty chill, but on the inside, I was jumping of joy, because Ash just asked me for my number!!! 

"Heh, thanks Sere! I'll see you tomorrow at school kay?" he asked, sounding really happy, and making his way back home.

"Sure! Bye Ash!!" I yelled. 

"Bye!!" he yelled back. 

I started walking back to my room, grabbing my room key card and opening my door, walking into my room. I started getting ready for bed by eating dinner and brushing my teeth, then changing into my pjs and getting into bed, I pulled out my phone and started texting Ash, because why not? 

Serena: Hey, home yet? 

Ash: Yeah, it wasnt a long walk. Excited to start school tomorrow? 

Serena: Kinda, Im a bit nervous about meeting the professor. What if he doesnt like me??

Ash: Are you kidding? Hes going to love you! You got nothing to worry about kay?

Serena: alright, though we should go to sleep, its pretty late

Ash: mkay, ill see you tomorrow. sweet dreams 

I started blushing, thank Arceus I wasn't actually in front of Ash. 

Serena: you too 

We left it there, though I couldn't wait for tomorrow to come. I was really excited that I wasn't really sleepy. But I had to go to sleep if I wanted to get up early for school. Tomorrow is going to be a good day. I just know it, and with those thoughts, I fell asleep.
