Ash P.O.V 

I LIKE HER??  

Man, I never really liked a girl before. Since I like her, do I ask her to be my girlfriend? Wait, maybe I should wait until I find out if she likes me back. But she kissed me on the escalator, does that prove anything? Ugh, why is this so confusing? Soon, a voice snaps me out of my thoughts. 

"Ash, are you okay?" asked Mallow, seeing as I spaced out in front of them. 

"I guess, though what do you do when you like a girl?" I asked, wanting their advice on what to do next, since I wasn't sure. 

"Well, do you know if she likes you back? Chances are she might" said Kiawe. 

"She did...um...kiss me at the Kalos airport just before she left to Hoenn" I said, feeling my face heat up just at the thought. 

 "WHAT?!? SHE KISSED YOU?!?! OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDD!!!!!!!!!" Mallow started screaming with excitement. Why was she so happy? 

We continued to talk about my feeling towards Serena and how both Mallow and Kiawe knew that Serena liked me back due to the kiss and other obvious signs that for some reason I couldn't see. Then we talked how I can tell Serena that I like her and that I want her to be my girlfriend. Turns out Mallow is going to call Serena sometime soon before the Grand Festival and ask if she could start performances here. I wondered if Serena was going to come here. 

We start to head back to the group when I realized how long me, Mallow, and Kiawe were talking. The rest of the gang started to pack up their stuff and were about to leave the beach. Dang it! I didn't really get to spend much time with Lillie, Lana, or Sophocles. I spent most of my time here talking with Mallow and Kiawe. Oh well, there's always next time. 

"Hey, what took you guys so long?" asked Lana. 

"Yeah, what were you guys talking about anyway?" asked Sophocles, giving me a wink. Huh? 

"Um, nothing really, it's not really anything important" I replied, scratching the back of my head. 

"Okay then,"said Lillie. "We should get going home, it's going to get dark pretty soon" she said, making me remember that there was no school tomorrow because it was the weekend. 

"Okay, bye guys!" I say, waving off to my friends and on my way home. Boy, if Serena does decide to come here, she's in for a big surprise.

No One's P.O.V 

Two weeks have passed and now it's a day before the Grand Festival. Ash was getting really excited about the Grand Festival and kept on asking Mallow when she was going to call Serena. Mallow told Ash she was going to call her today and that he had to wait patiently. 

Meanwhile Serena was practicing hard for the Grand Festival. May decided not to enter until next year because of Max starting his Pokemon journey and deciding to travel with him. Soon Serena received the call from Mallow and answered.

Serena P.O.V 

"Hello?" I said. Someone (probably a fan, not the first time) had called me a day before the Grand Festival. I wondered who it could be. 

"Hi!! My name is Mallow and I'm from the Alola region!" Mallow said, full of excitement. She had darkish green hair which was in two pigtails and wore blue overalls over her mainly pink and white sleeveless shirt.

"Hi Mallow! What can I do for you?" I asked. 

"Well, I was wondering if after the Grand Festival, regardless if you win or lose, if you could come to the Alola region to start performances here. I saw some of yours and I would really like to learn how to do a performance!" She said. Wow, I never thought about going to the Alola region. She may not be the only one in the Alola region who would be willing to do performances. 

"Hmm, well I'll think about it. I'll let you know after the Grand Festival okay" I replied. 

"Yeah okay! Bye! And good luck at the Grand Festival, I'll be cheering for you!" Mallow said. 

"Bye!" I said, ending the call. 

Okay, time to get some sleep and be ready for the Grand Festival tomorrow. It's going to be challenging but a lot of fun. Tomorrow's going to be a great day, I just know it!

Ash P.O.V 

"Tell me what she said!!" I shouted at Mallow, being really annoyed with her. Its been over 12 hours since Mallow called Serena and she hasn't told me what was Serena's answer. I really wanted to know if she will come to Alola. 

"I told you, you're going to have to wait!" Mallow said back. 

"Ugh please?!?" I asked. I really wanted to know what Serena said! 

"Fine! If it gets you to stop complaining!" Mallow replied. "She said that she'll think about it" she smirked. 

"Seriously!?! Ugh" I said, with a bit of frustration because Mallow wasted my time. 

"Hold up! She did say she was going to tell me after the Grand Festival. Let's invite everyone over to your place and watch it there!" She said. Now that definitely made things better. 

"Okay! Sounds like a plan!" I said. Boy was I excited for the Grand Festival. And I'm not even competing!

Serena P.O.V 

Finally, the day of the Grand Festival is here! I can't wait and I'm so excited to compete. Me and my Pokemon have been practicing and training really hard. I've already signed in to enter the Grand Festival so all that's needed is to wait for my name to be called out. 

After about 20 minutes, I'm the last person to be called up on stage. 

"And our last contestant is Serena!" the lady says. 

Okay, lets do this!

Ash P.O.V 

"And our last contestant is Serena!" the lady says.

C'mon Serena, you can win this! I say to myself quietly. Everyone had come over to my house to watch the Grand Festival, with me and Mallow being the most excited. 

As I saw Serena walk out on stage, I was thinking two things. One: what Pokemon was she going to use? And two: she looked really beautiful. As I thought that last thought, I couldn't help but smile.
