Hey guys, so just wanted to let you know that after school's out for winter break (this Friday, the 22nd, because it was someone's bright idea to end school 3 days before Christmas), I'll start to update a lot more, but for now, you may not get too many chapters. Either way, hope you enjoy today's chapter.

Miette P.O.V 

"Oh Ash, I miss you so much" I say as I kiss the only picture I have of him. 

Hopefully someday I'll get to see you soon.

Serena P.O.V 

"And the winner of the Lilicove City contest is Serena!" the host says, as I walk over to receive my cerulean blue ribbon, which is the fifth one I've won since coming to Hoenn. 

"Look Plusle, we won our fifth ribbon!" I say to my Plusle, one of the Pokemon I caught here. She and her sister Minun are both really amazing Pokemon, with their teamwork and everything. 

As I walk back to the Pokemon Center, I start to think about all that I have accomplished since coming here. I managed to catch two more Pokemon: Plusle and Minun. They're all such great partners and thanks to them I got enough ribbons to enter the Grand Festival. Sylveon won the first contest, Minun the second, Delphox (yes Braixen evolved) the third, Pancham the fourth, and just now, Plusle won the fifth. 

I've also managed to make new friends here too. I met May and her little brother Max, who both apparently used to travel with Ash. Max is just weeks away from turning 10 and getting his first Pokemon. And May already has her 5 ribbons to enter the Grand Festival. They're both really great friends.

Its been a while since I've talked to Clemont, Bonnie, and Ash. I really miss them and all the fun times we had. Whenever one of Clemont's inventions blew up, when Bonnie asks random girls to take care of Clemont, and when Ash always gets excited for a battle. I especially miss Ash and his positive self. I can't believe he was my childhood friend, and that I kissed him on the escalator in the airport. Eep! I turn red just at the thought of it. Who knows where Ash is now, he could be in Kanto or in another region. Soon I arrive at the Pokemon Center and give my Pokemon to Nurse Joy. 

While I wait I decide to check if they have announced the location for the Grand Festival. Once I see the video I tap on it and anxiously wait. 

"The location for this year's Grand Festival is in Slateport City!!! We hope to see all you coordinators there soon" the lady says, as the video ends.

Guess I better start making my way there.

Ash P.O.V

"Hey Ash! Check this out!" Mallow calls out to me, with a tablet in her hand. 

"What is it?" I ask. 

"Look, they've already announced the location of the Hoenn Grand Festival! It's in Slateport City!" she says. Mallow has a big love for contests and performances, and sometimes brings up May, who is already Top Coordinator in Hoenn. I've never heard her mention Serena though. 

"Have they told who's going to enter?" I ask, hoping Serena will enter. 

"Let's see... oh! Here it is!" Mallow says, facing the tablet towards me. 

As she said this, the rest of the gang came back from swimming in the ocean and was listening to Mallow talk about the contests. 

I kept looking for Serena's name and I turned sad at the thought that she wasn't on the list. But then, as I was almost going to give up, I found her name at the very bottom, due to her last name which was apparently Yvonne. I didn't know that. 

"Yes!!" I whispered, which apparently was loud enough for everyone to hear. 

"Why are you so excited Ash?" asked Lillie. 

I wasn't sure how to answer to this. Should I tell them about Serena? To be honest whenever I think about her I get this exciting feeling in my chest, and it's weird because I have never felt anything like that before to my other female companions. There was this one word Brock always used, but I forgot what it was. All I know is that it started with an L. I decided it'd be best to tell Mallow and Kiawe about Serena, seeing if they could help me with this feeling. 

"No reason hehe" I chuckled, looking at everyone. "Mallow, Kiawe, can I talk to you privately for a moment please?" I asked. 

"Sure!" they both replied. 

The three of us make our way to another side of the beach. 

"I need to ask you guys something, and for now, lets let it be just between us please" I say. I didn't really want them talking about this with the others, I just feel kinda uncomfortable talking about this kind of thing. 

"Sure, what's up?" they both ask. 

"Okay, truth is, the reason I said yes after seeing the list is because I saw the name of a girl I recognized. Her name is Serena. For some strange reason, I have this weird feeling towards her, like I get this excited feeling just thinking about her, and there's this one word for that feeling, but I don't know what its called. All I know is that it starts with an L. Do you guys know?" I asked. 

"Um Ash" Mallow says. 

"What?" I say, a bit confused if its a good or bad thing. 

"I think you like her" Kiawe says, leaving me shocked. 

I LIKE HER??
