Hey guys I'm back with another chapter for y'all. I have taken into consideration all the suggestions I got for the story by you guys. That's all and hope you enjoy!

Ash P.O.V 

Well, today's the day. It's my date with Sere and I'm nervous as hell. I've only been awake for about 10 minutes and I ran my hand through my hair for the 10th time now and sighed about 28 times. Kukui noticed my strange behavior and asks me if I'm okay. I didn't want him to tease me about my date with Sere so I just replied that I was fine. I was also kinda nervous about skipping school, but after the date I was planning on talking to the professor and telling him not to punish Sere. 

I grabbed my backpack and made sure Pikachu was near me and started to run to school. Although I was pretty nervous I was also really excited. I couldn't wait to see the look on Sere's face the moment I ask her to be my girlfriend. I don't even think I'll be able to focus at school at all! I soon slowed down to find Sere standing at the gate waiting for me. 

"Hey Ash!" she said, greeting me with a wave. 

"Hey Sere," I replied, then leaned close so I could whisper in her ear. "Ready for our date today?" She blushed but still replied. 

"Yeah" she said in a nervous tone. But she soon went into a serious tone and said, "Meet me behind the bushes near the field so we can get on our way without being noticed". 

"Alright but lets make sure that no one is following us, we can't risk being told on" I replied, looking around me to make sure no one was listening in on our conversation. I wasn't sure, but I thought I saw a glimpse of white near the wall, but it probably was the wall. 

Sere nods in response and we start making our way to the classroom. I have the temptation to hold her hand but I decide not to, so that our friends don't think anything weird is going on. When we arrive at the classroom, I immediately see Mallow, and it looks like she's about to explode from the excitement she's containing. Kiawe is more calm and cool and just smiles at me. Lillie is also there, but she looks extremely sad, maybe best to talk with her later after she has calmed down. 

Me and Sere go to our seat and just chat. Moments before I can finish what I was saying, Kiawe interrupts me and asks me if I could have a word with him, most likely about the date. How do I know its probably going to be about the date? Because Mallow is there too, waiting for us. I head over there and sit down. 

"So whats up guys? Any problems?" I ask. 

"No, but we wanted to give you our locker combinations because our stuff is in there. The food is already in a basket, but you could hide the flowers in there too" Kiawe said, writing his combo before giving the piece of paper to Mallow, who was now writing down hers.  All of sudden though, Mallow got up and grab me by my collar. 

"You got ONE chance buddy. DON'T f**k it up okay?" She asked, scaring the s**t out of me. In response, I just nodded. She put me down and grabbed the piece of paper from the table and handed it to me. "Call us after the date to tell us how it went" she said. 

"Okay, thanks again you guys" I replied, thanking them for going through all this trouble just to help me. 

"Anytime buddy" Kiawe said. 

I made my way back to Sere, where she was waiting for me, before eventually asking what me, Mallow, and Kiawe were talking about. 

"You'll find out later" I said, smirking, but then turned serious. "Did you notice how sad Lillie looks, it almost looks like she was crying". 

"Yeah, while you were talking with Kiawe and Mallow, I went over and asked her if she was okay, but she said she was fine. She sure didn't look like it" Sere replied, glancing over at Lillie, who was now talking with Mallow, who was comforting her. 

Soon, the professor walked in and told to to take our seats. The whole time he was teaching, I kept looking at the clock, eagerly waiting for lunch time to arrive. I wrote to Sere that we should go separately so that we wouldn't look suspicious. Eventually the lunch bell rang and I rushed down the hall to Mallow and Kiawe's locker. I grabbed the basket and hid the flowers in there. 

As soon as I see the gates, I also see Sere there, hiding so she wouldn't be seen. I approach her and ask her, "You ready?" 

"Yeah" she replied, blushing. We soon started walking, and after a while, she asked, "Where are we going?" 

"You'll see" I said with a smirk. After about 10 minutes of walking, I cover her eyes and tell her to keep them closed. I set up our picnic on the beach, and from a distance, I see the boat. I tell her to open her eyes as soon as I finished setting up the picnic. Her reaction was so cute, with her eyes widened in surprise. 

"Oma...Ash, I can't believe you did this" she finally said after her moment of shock. She slowly walked to the picnic blanket, examining everything I set up. The plates with the food already served, the drinks already poured into the glasses, the eating utensils neatly placed beside the plates, and finally, the desserts on a separate plate. She sat down on the blanket, and I sat down on the opposite side. 

When she wasn't looking, I pulled out the flowers from the picnic basket. They were really pretty, and I wasn't sure where Kiawe found them because I haven't seen them around the island. I handed them to Serena and once again, she blushed and had a shocked expression on her face. 

"Do you like them?" I asked, hoping she didn't hate them. 

"Oh my... Ash... I-I love them" she said, looking at them for a couple minutes, then looked at me. She leaned forward and gave me a hug, one which I returned. "Thank you so much Ash". 

"Your welcome Sere" I replied, not letting go from our hug. After about 30 minutes, we finished the food that Mallow prepared for us. I put the things back into the picnic basket and got up with it in my hand, and helped Sere up with the other. "I got one last thing prepared for us, so follow me!" I exclaimed, running towards the boat while pulling Sere with me. She struggled a bit to keep up at first, but then eventually caught up. When we reached the boat, I saw that there were areas where it was covered with all kinds of flowers, and you can imagine how Serena reacted when she saw it. She gasped and started saying how it was so pretty and asking me how I did it. I helped her in the boat and once she was seated I attempted to get in, before failing and falling in the water. 

"AAHH" I yelled, before landing in the water, which was shallow. Sere just looked at me with a worried expression, and before we knew it, we were both laughing at what happened. I got up, got in the boat, took the paddles and started rowing. Once we were a good distance away from the shore, we just sat there and started talking. A while later, I knew it was time to ask her the question.  

"Sere, there's been something that I've been meaning to ask you" I say, getting her full attention. 

"Yes Ash? What is it?" She replies. 

"Will......will you....be.....my.....girl-" 

"AAASSHHHHH!!!!!! HEY ASH!!!!!!!" said someone, who apparently knew me. The voice came from my left and Sere's right, since we were sitting across from each other. When all three of our eyes met, me and Sere's faces were left in shock.

"MIETTE?!?!?" we both said at the same time.
