Everything Hongjoong was working on wasn't coming together. The more he tried to connect the dots, he always missed something. Or in other words, we could say he didnt want to believe what he made out from the past few days into the investigation.

Some evidence led to the girl he loves the most in the world and it doesn't make sense to him. Ofcourse Hana was hurted a lot during their High School days but that doesn't nean she was cruel to return the favour that way.

First, why would  Min Haein out of all people called her? It could be her plan. All of the doors were locked and only the main entrance was opened which wasnt by force either. The owner let them enter freely and after Min Haein trusted her visitor, it seems like they attacked her.

And Semi was the only one who kept in contact with her. He sigh again and cup his face.

"I'm really going crazy", he puff out and clear the files before him.

"I should give up for today", he keep talking to himself and upon realizing what he did he laugh and decided to call it a day. He had a crazy idea in his mind which seems absurd, even thinking about it make him sink in his seat and call it a day for real before he kill his brain.

On his way back he passed by some buildings, traffics, people and decided to take a walk. Maybe all he needed was a fresh air to clear his mind.

He headed off to where his feet were taking him. On a day like this, 10 years ago, he asked out Hana under the fireworks that the villagers did it as a tradition every years.

No matter how busy he was, he can never forget the day Hana was finally his. A smile form in his lips and walk towards a crowd of people. Some with their lovers, some with their family.

They were waiting for the fireworks to go off exactly at 9 in the night.

He closed his eyes as memories started fuming inside him.

"Where are you taking me you idiot?", Hana whine and punch Hongjoong's arm after she was pulled along with a blindfold.

"You'll see when we get there, be patient you bunny", he tickle her side slightly making her shriek loudly and follow without another words again.

When she took the blindfold off, she was met with the most beautiful view ever in front of her.

"Wha...", she was about to speak but was interrupted by Hongjoong tapping her shoulder and shyly taking her hands.

He pulled out a beautiful orchid from his free hand which he hid behind his back and give it Hana.

"I...I know we've been friends for a long time and I dont want to break our relationship because of this but I...I like you Hana. I like you more than friends"

Tears left Hana's eyes and she quickly hug him giggling and face flush red.

"I like you too idiot", she mumbled in his shoulder and Hongjoong spin her around.

He put her down and stare at her eyes. Both of their faces were red from blushing but neither did pull back.

He capture her lips with those plumb and sweet tender lips of his own as fireworks hit its peak. Typically romantic first kiss that can never happen again.

He sigh at the memory. He can never forgive himself again nor ever deserve her but his heart is always beating for the same person his whole life.

He only wanted her.

The fireworks started as children jump up and down. Parents hugging their little children as their father plays with the bigger ones.

Teens and couples were also having the time of their life.

Maybe, just maybe he will have the second chance to make everything right again.

He hears whimper a few feet away from him and see couples making out. He scoff and look up towards the sky.

The couple making out pulls away and hug each other with tears falling from their eyes.
