"Hongjoong come on, I heard you didnt eat your breakfast and lunch well. You will solve this, I know you will"

Hongjoong look at the girl he used to love whole heartedly before and even now. He dont deserves her and he knows it but he cant push away the thought that he still love and want her more than anything else.

Nobody understand him like she do, nobody ever made him feel loved so much like she did. Even if she doesnt have the same feelings she once did, he still want to stay by her side.

"Alright lets go"

Mingi eyed him judgingly. He didnt want to eat anything when they ask him but he easily give up when the girl told him to. But who can he blame when he know too well that the elder was never over her? What did she do to deserves all the hatred he had given her? But past is past, nothing can be undone. Live with a grudge and punish oneself or move on, it was either way.

"Where would you like to eat?", Semi ask smiling and link her arms with him. She didnt mean to lead him on, she just think it wasnt that much for someone who started off again as friends after being each other's comfort zone for a long time.

"You're the one who brought me out. You chose", he laugh at her and ruffle her hair, as if they were back to their old teenage years. Time pass away too fast.

Semi phone rang as they enter a nice restaurant.

"Hmm?", she pick up and her face brightened. Hongjoong wished it was him that made her smile like that. But he can only wish because he couldnt ask for more as it was selfish of him to be wishing so many things.

"Okay, I'll come by tonight", she ended the call just as the waiter came over to take their order.

"My treat", she casually say not even letting Hongjoong to reject it. She wont let him anyways when his income is still small.

"Do you have somewhere to be?", he ask through eating the beef rib soup.

"Ah that? Its Seonghwa. He wants me to come over for dinner. Mom wants to see me"

Hongjoong's heart sank. The way she casually refers to Seonghwa's mother as her own, it feels like she was married to him more than being a sister to him.

"You seems close to his family"

Semi noticed the change in his behaviour but chose to ignore it. Seonghwa is not someone he should be jealous of anyways.

He shook off, realizing how petty he looked and puff his cheeks out. To her, he was still like a child several years ago, face and habits never changing but just a bit older. She felt like she could fall in love all over again but she is afraid. She didnt want to go through everything she did before. Trust was not in her heart anymore.

"Seonghwa is the first person that console me when I was having a hard time. He was the first person who helped me when I was bullied and even when I was laying dead with my past. He have a special place in my heart just like you did before. And his parents are the only family I could ever asked for so they have all of my respects and I will stand by their side at all times".

Hongjoong's mind was faraway. He was distracted and troubled. He think about all the possibilities as his heart skipped a bit. It wont be him wont it?

"Semi...I want you to be honest with me. Tell me you'll say everything without keeping any secrets?"

"Wha..."

"Its him right? It is because of him that you cant come back to me. It was because of that Park Seonghwa that you refuse to be with me again. Please tell me you dont like him"

Semi's eyes was reddening. Her lips trembles as she let what he said sink in. Her grips tightened as she exhale before scoffing and took her bag before paying in the counter and left him.
