Nivin.

"Riya?" I called her softly one last time, but she was leaning to me, her body still supported by me.

I turned on the shower.

Water started to run over us.

She's doing all sorts of things to me!she's testing my patience and making it very difficult for me to control around her!

I started to feel her body through her now wet dress and it didn't help even one bit.

Neev, focus, you cant have inappropriate thoughts now, you have to go back.

She's so tempting, her white dress has now started to stick to her body, my hands around her waist could feel her skin through her wet dress.

My eyes came to stop on her lips, water droplets were dripping down and flowing down along her neck in a tempting way.

If I can just bend a little... I can kiss her again.

I pulled her closer.

You shouldn't act on impulse, you are already messed up around her!

I brought up my hands and removed the wet hair from her face, my fingers ran along her cheeks.

"Riya..." I whispered, shaking her and she slowly opened her eyes.

"Are you coming to your senses? are you okay?" I asked again.

"I...I...cant..stand" she looked at me, now panicked.

I turned off the flowing water.

"Don't worry, It's the drinks, I think you have been drugged, you will be alright in..." I dragged off as she leaned to me more.

My mind went all blank except for one thing; Riya and the way our bodies were touching.

"You are driving me crazy!" I said as I brought her body close to me, our bodies fit together and our faces were only inches apart.

The only thing that was preventing me from initiating anything was her eyes, I know she's not in her right mind and I don't want to touch her when she's not.

And you can't ever touch her because she's that type of girl who believes in marriage.

Reality crashed down on me.

"Can you change?" I asked her as she was still looking into my eyes.

She nodded slightly, then started to get up, but lost her balance and I supported her again.

I sighed.

Looks like I have to change her...again!

The last time was from the hospital and she had nearly killed me for that.

I brought her closer, Riya looked startled at my rough attitude now. I supported her against me in one hand and brought my other hand to the back of her gown.

"Neev!" she tried to get away from my hands.

"Just trust me," I said, trying my maximum to sound cold and unaffected. I started to unzip her.

"No!"

"You are going to get ill if you can't change Riya," I said, still continuing my work. I touched her skin accidentally and she shivered.

This is a bad idea Neev, you are going to suffer if you don't get away now!

I stopped midway, the look in her eyes is affecting me more than it should.

"I...I think you should change now, I have unzipped you" I said as I supported her out of the shower area and leaned her to the counter in the dressing room.

"I will bring you that dress you left last time, Shanthi must have washed it I thin-" I stopped as I felt her clutching my shirt.

I could feel her through the now wet shirt of mine.

"Don't go" she said.

I pried her hands away from my shirt.

"Let me tell you one thing Riya, I am not a saint, I am someone who's dangerous to you," I said slowly.

And Riya did something so unexpected, she turned her back to me, I saw her exposed skin and I mentally groaned.

"What are you doing!?" I whispered.

"Help me change out of these," she said.

I couldn't help it anymore I wound my hands around her and pulled her closer.

The touch of her skin against my wet shirt broke any restraints I had and I moved her hair sideways.

I lowered my head and kissed the nape of her neck.

She trembled and tried to move, only, I gripped her.

"I warned you, Riya!" I said before turning her to face me, I pulled down her gown from her shoulder and started to remove it out of her body.

She has singlet and skinny pants underneath, I just couldn't hold it anymore and kissed her on the jaw, then I trailed down to her neck, Riya's hands fisted on my shirt and I inhaled her scent.

"I love...your...scent..." I said as I pressed a soft little kiss there and moved down to her shoulder bone.

I kissed that tiny little mole there, It had me going crazy before so I was so very proud to touch it like I wanted to! I pulled her closer to my body.

"You...are beautiful," I said as my hands felt the skin on her midriff and she shivered against me, I slowly ran it over her and lifted my eyes to her.

She looked dazed, her breathing heavy.

"Riya, I suggest you let go of me now or things are going to get out of my control," I said, looking at her trembling hands on my chest.

She slowly moved it upwards and touched my chin, moving so slowly that it felt painful.

She tried to reach around my shoulders, but I was too tall for her.

I take her hands away.

"Don't tease me if you are not sure, Riya, I told you, I am dangerous!"

"You are not," she looked up at me. "you are one of the most important people in my life," she said breathlessly and leaned up to me on her toes.

"Wait!" I lifted her up and placed her on the counter, Riya gasped in surprise but I just covered her lips, silencing her with my kiss.

She was frozen for a few seconds before she started to respond, making my blood boil and all my reasons to control seemed to disappear.

Her hands ran through my hair tentatively as I kissed her senseless, my hands were still roaming over her, feeling her exposed skin.

I can't just leave her!

I can't keep away from her!

I can't even think of anyone else coming near her.

She's mine!

I can't let anyone have what's mine!

I think I am in love with her!

I run my hands slightly up, I wanted to remove every single thing that was separating us, I wanted to feel her without any barrier between us, I wanted to make love to her.

My kiss turned demanding and I touched the strap on her singlet, Riya jumped as she felt it, her hands stopped running through my hair and I could feel her heart going frantic, apparently shocked at my bold movements.

She's not ready, Neev! you should take it slow!

I pecked her on last time and slowly lifted my head up from her with so much willpower.

Her lips were red and swollen from my kiss, she looked ravished. I wanted nothing more than claiming her.

I should think straight now!

I don't want to do it like this, I want her to be in her complete sense when I do this.

Yes, I am planning to do this, I want her and I can't deny it anymore.

And I can't see her with anyone else too.

"Neev?" she asked me, confused. "what...happened?" her eyes started to fill. "I...I am sorry" she trembled.

Don't scare her Neev, don't tell her now, take it slow, she might get shocked.

I am planning to stick around now, now that I decided I can't give up on her.

"Shh...don't cry" I wiped her tears away.

I can't afford to lose her!

"I think you are very drunk and out of your senses," I said, kissing her on the forehead.

"No" she shook her head rather adorably.

I hugged her to me and she put her hands around my neck, hugging me back and resting her head on my shoulder.

"I am glad I have you Neev" she whispered. "I am really glad I have someone who stands with me through everything"

It seemed to flow straight to my heart, making it beat irregularly.

She's the first and only girl who has this effect on me.

And I am ready to wait for her, I want her true feelings, I don't want her to be burdened by my feelings.

"I will bring your dress now," I told her as we slowly let go of each other, breaking the silence between us and she nodded quickly.

Riya.

I watched Neev as he handed me a coffee cup.

Both of us were already clean, fresh and changed to the new clothes, I was wearing that maroon knee length party wear that I left behind in his apartment the last time I visited.

Nivin had helped me dry my hair and get dressed, he was so caring and I watched him the whole time he was helping me.

I was still feeling a bit unstable, but thankfully I came back to my senses now.

"It will help you," Neev said as I took a sip.

He was right, It felt soothing. He took the seat opposite to me.

I am a bit embarrassed by my actions earlier. yes, I know I practically threw myself over him.

In my defence, I was not oriented and I was angry at Nirosha, yes, I did it deliberately but I wanted to do it, I wanted to know what he thinks of me.

And he turned you down, he doesn't want anything to do with you Riya...

That's not it!

How can a guy stop like that when the girl was practically trying to offer herself to him? it's because he's not interested...

No way! it doesn't felt like he was not interested, he was touching me back too, he must've felt my uneasiness!

And look at what happened? he suddenly stopped it, he must get tons of girls offering themselves to him and you were just one of them!

I closed my eyes tightly for a moment. I don't want to think about it and get humiliated, I will think about this later.

It's getting difficult for me now, my one-sided love, It pained me physically as I saw Nirosha kissing Neev at the party.

"Riya, we are going back now," he told me and I nodded. "grandpa might talk to us, just say what happened at the party, he would know it by now, anyway," he said.

I nodded again.

"I am sorry to bother you like this" I murmured, not looking in his eyes, Nivin's gaze lingered on me for a moment, I could feel it.

"You should be Riya! you don't know what you are doing to me!" he said before getting up.

I looked up at him.

"Don't worry, I am planning to return the favour very soon, so just wait till the time's right" he said.

It must have been the intensity in his eyes and the underlying meaning in his words, I blushed.

I removed my eyes away from him, It felt too intimate suddenly.

Am I the only one feeling all these?

I get up slowly.

"It's... It's the love plant!" I exclaimed as soon as my eyes fell on the potted plant. I moved forward and touched the rich purple coloured heart-shaped leaves that were filling up the whole space. "where did you get one?" I looked up at him.

Since I was working at 'soulmate', I knew about it, but it's my first time I am touching one!

Neev considered me for a moment.

"It's very rare to find one here! I have searched for it for a long time! it's so gorgeous!" I said again.

"I just brought it today, you can have it if you love it so much," Neev said slowly.

"Really!?" I looked at him. "Thank you so much!" I beamed at him and he smiled, I could feel something was off right away.

"Let's put it where it can get a little sunlight for now," I said and Neev helped me to carry the pot to the balcony.

"Don't go back on your promise! it's mine now" I looked at him.

Neev was still looking at me as if in wonder.

"How did you get drunk?" he asked me.

I was taken aback for a moment.

"I had a couple of drinks I guess," I said.

"And then? What happened?"

"Nothing, I must have felt sleepy! oh my God! Priya-"

"She's safe, she called you to inform she reached home safe, her uncle picked her up," he said.

I sighed in relief.

"God! I totally forgot about her!" I exclaimed. "I am such an irresponsible person! how can I forget about Priya!? I couldn't even introduce you or Rohan!"

"Do you remember that guys?" he looked at me again.

"Guys? jeez! did I cause any problems getting drunk!?" I looked at him with wide eyes.

"So you don't remember any guys trying to-"

"Ooh! I get it now! you are talking about that strange guy who insisted he is my friend? that psycho stalker in white?" I giggled.

"He was harmless, but I still don't know how in the world did he know me even with the mask in place!" I said.

"He recognised you?" Nivin's eyes narrowed.

"Yup, and he seemed to know you too, he said something about Aldricks," I said and Neev looked thoughtful.

"What's with all this interrogation?" looked at him.

"You seemed to be blanked out from the moment you take the drink, do you remember who gave you that drink?"

I shook my head. "I was just so tensed to noti..." I dragged off as I remembered why I was tensed. "I mean-"

"I don't love Nirosha," he said suddenly, making the surrounding awkward. I don't know what to say to that. "and I am not going to repeat this again" he added.

I remembered him telling me the same thing from that shopping mall, after kissing me.

I avoided eye contact.

"It's not the point here-" I started.

"Are you sure?" he raised his eyebrows. "Are you sure that it doesn't concern you-"

"Of course! why should I get upset over something silly like that, you see Nivin, I am a person who doesn't get affected by things like that" I said confidently.

For some reason, Nivin was smiling at me, like he knows something that I don't know.

"What?" I snapped at him.

"It's true that some people are more truthful when they are drunk," he said.

"What is it supposed to mean?" I looked up at him and he was still having that heart-melting smile, and looking really pleased with himself.

"Stop it!" I snapped at him again.

"Why Riya? are you feeling "strange"?" he smirked.

I noticed the way he emphasised the word strange, my heart skipped a beat and I felt hot suddenly.

Oh my God!? am I that easy to read!?

"I... I think we are late! let's go" I jumped up and hurried away, not giving a chance to him.

Neev chuckled while following me.

Neev.

I already called the private detectives to know about the attack and that guy in white, but there seemed to be no progress till now.

I looked sideways at Riya.

She was drugged deliberately!

My insides twisted at the knowledge. Someone tried to kidnap her after drugging her!

Maybe it's a good thing she doesn't remember it, I should tell her, but not now, she's been through a lot today, even if she doesn't remember it.

We were in the elevator and I took her hand in mine, she looked up at me, surprised, but I didn't explain, I just felt like holding her hands.

The elevator door opened and we stepped out.

"This way" I guided her to my car and that's when I felt it, like we are being followed.

I covered her with my body just in time as the flash came.

I covered her more securely as she stilled in shock.

I started to move her to the car, still covering her from the camera.

"Riya! get in the car" I opened the door and pushed her inside. "Don't move and don't come out" I said before closing the door and following the man who takes the photo.

If anyone saw her with me at this late hour, I am sure they are going to print nonsense again, and I don't want it about her.

"Security!" I shouted and the young security officer ran to me.

"Sir?"

"How come a reporter was here? are you doing your job or what?" I was angry.

"There...there was no one sir, they must have been hiding! I am so sorry-"

"This is your first and last warning! if something like this happens, you are fired!" I said before walking back.

I know I can't leave Riya alone in the car. I walked back to her.

Nirosha.

"What the hell were you thinking Nirosha! you almost got caught" papa looked at me angrily. "I never thought you could be so irresponsible like this!"

"But they managed to escape, even if they were to get caught, they would never reveal my name," I said

It was true, the deal was like that.

"Kidnapping is a serious crime, I don't want you to-" he started again, but I cut across him.

"I was not trying to kidnap her, I just wanted to ruin any chance of them being together," I said darkly.

It was true, I just wanted to take some compromising photos of her, enough to make a scandal so that she could never be with him, I successfully blocked Nivin from reaching her too, we would have been successful if it was not for that anonymous person.

I have gone through the guest list two-three times and I still don't know who it was. He seemed to vanish into thin air.

Then Nivin appeared, along with Sachin and the guys from college. and everything was a mess, It's lucky that they managed to escape the guys!

Riya has too many people protecting her!

I still can't understand what's so special her, she's too plain! she doesn't even dress up properly!

"Joseph Aldrick know about the incident, he's not stupid"

"There's no evidence that I was behind it" I shrugged. "And if something goes wrong, I am sure you will solve it somehow, now that we both know what happened to Nivin's mom," I said.

Papa looked at me strangely. He looked worried suddenly.

"Are you going to keep on threatening me like this, Nirosha?" he asked me.

"I am just reminding you of the past, I understand why you couldn't be with my mom now, we all have our reasons and I am in love with Nivin and I am not going to stop until I get him"

"Nirosha! even if he's the last guy in this earth, It's not going to happen-"

"Are you in a position to tell me this?" I looked at him. "you took away your best friend's wife! Uncle James committed suicide because of you! and you blamed it on his best friend!" I said. "Imagine today's incident to what you have done, It seems like noth-"

"I will not allow you to talk to me like this!" he shouted, looking dangerous now.

He takes threatening steps towards me. "Don't make me kill that bastard because of you! I only intended to use that boy till now, don't make me disappear him too" he said and I shivered.

"If something happens to him, I wouldn't care anything anymore, I will expose everything-"

"Nirosha!"

"Good night, papa" I walked away.

Nivin is mine and it's going to be like that, I won't allow anyone, not even my papa to take him away from me.

Just wait Mehra, you seemed to be very lucky, but just wait, I will surely get you next time.

But first things first, I shouldn't let Neev suspect me, I want his trust, And for that, I have to tell Rohan about Naina.

I really don't wish to face an angry Rohan, but I guess I don't have another way to gain Neev's trust again.

It's for Neev, I am going to do it for Neev, I want him to trust me, he should know I will do anything he wants me to.

Sebastian.

Nirosha is making me worried these days, she's obsessed with Nivin.

And he's James's and Julia's son, I can never allow it!

There's only one way now.

I dialled Joseph Aldrick.

"Sebastian?" I heard him. "It's a good thing you called, I was about to contact you," he said.

"What happened?" I said, wary of his voice.

Is he already aware of the incident!?

"About today's incident," he said. "I hope you are aware of it," he said.

How the hell is this old man knowing everything?

"Yea, I called because of that, I can no longer convince Nirosha to stay away from Nivin"

"Nivin and Rohan are already investigating it, I can't guarantee what will happen if they come to know about Nirosha, I blocked all the details for now and the CCTV is already cleared," he said.

Of course, he wouldn't need to aggravate his grandsons before the precious project now.

I sighed in relief.

"I want a favour, It's the only thing I could do to keep Nirosha away from that boy now," I said.

"What do you want me to do?" I heard his voice.
