Chapter 6
Planet Chaos - 10 years later
Divine/Percy
I was facing off with my opponents when an arrow flew past my face. I looked to where the arrow come from and saw two shadowy figures holding silver bows.
'Must be Huntress and Angel' I thought.
I quickly took out two throwing knives and threw it in their directions. They moved out of the shadows, revealing Huntress and Angel. Just as I thought. They barely dodged the knives. One of the knives ripped part of their cloaks and the other missed one of their heads by a millimetre.
I took that opportunity to take out my sword, riptide and uncapped it, a long celestial bronze sword sprung out. But when It showed up at Planet Chaos, my sword got upgraded. Now part of it was made out of Chaos metal, strongest metal on the planet. It's basically indestructible. The hilt was the same, the sword blade had celestial bronze and Chaos metal combined together, creating a dangerous weapon.
I quickly charged at Angel, swinging my sword at her, catching her by surprise. She manages to pull out a dagger block my sword with her dagger, but just barely.
I quickly disarm Angel then feel a presence behind me.
I turn around and find Huntress with her two hunting knifes in her hand, about to slash at me, I swung my sword at her arms but that was just an act. Just as she tried blocking my sword, I quickly swung at her feet instead, bringing my sword from behind her legs, swiping her off her feet and quickly disarming her.
"Well, Looks like I win again, Huntress." I taunt, grinning.
Huntress scowled. "Shut up Perseus. I don't need to hear you say 'I win again!'"
"Then try winning next time okay? Same with you Angel." I say.
Angel rolled her eyes. "Yeah, Yeah, Thanks for the very useful advice." she says sarcastically.
"You're welcome." I say doing a mock bow. Only ending up getting smack on the head.
"Ow! What was that for?" I say, looking at who smacked me.
I was looking at the face of Luke Castellan. He shook his head in disbelief.
"You can defeat and survive thousands of monsters, titans and giants, even a primordial god yet a smack on the head hurts you? I will never understand you." he said, with an amused look on his face, as if he was demanding for an explanation.
I slightly glared at him. "Well it only hurts sometimes you know, it does sting. And when I'm all focused I don't really think about the pain alright?"
"Whatever you say commander." he says, throwing his arm in the air.
"How about we forget about this nonsense arguing.. and go hang out at the game room?" Zoe and Bianca suggested.
"Good idea." Luke and I both said in unison.
We both look at each other in confusion then burst out in laughter.
"Boys." the former lieutenant of Artemis said shaking her heads. "I seriously will never ever understand boys."
"That's because you have no sense of humor Zoe." I stated.
"No, I have a sense of humor but nothing's funny most of the time." she said, slightly glaring at me.
"Let's just go to the game room." I said.
Everyone nodded their heads in agreement.
We all walked to the game room, chatting on the way, and waving to any soldiers that just happen to walk by. Zoe was talking to Bianca, something about the Hunt back on Earth, but thinking about earth just brought bad memories to my head so I didn't like talking about my past life at all. While Zoe was talking to Bianca, I was chatting with Luke about a Mission we did a few years back.
Once we arrived at the game room, Zoe and Bianca went their usual area, what me and Luke like to call, the 'ladies' section, while we just went to our video game corner which is full of electronics. How is that good for us soldiers you ask? Well, there's mostly games which are for training, we use our swords to slash through the air which slashes the enemy in the game, Which is exactly why every game is easy for me.
Just as I was going to get comfortable and start my game, a messenger came up to me.
"Lord Chaos needs you in the throne room for an important mission Commander." he said.
I nod my head. "Thank you for telling me, I'll be there soon." I say as he leaves.
I turned to Luke. "I'll be back, have to talk to father. Something about an important mission."
Luke nodded, his eyes glued to the screen of a game he was currently playing. It looked like a game where you had to steal things. Once a son of Hermes, always a son of Hermes. Some people never change.
~~~~~TIME LAPSE~~~~~
I arrived in the throne room a few minutes after the messenger had told me about father wanting me to do a new mission. Why do I call him father you wonder? Well, After I figured out he was my real father, and Poseidon wasn't, I started calling him father since Poseidon didn't see me as his son anymore. I could still remember the days back then...
I was, once again, brought out of thoughts when Chaos said my name.
"Divine, I need you to do a mission for me.. It's very important.. Do you accept?" he asked me.
Of course, me, always doing missions whenever I have the chance, accepted, not knowing what the mission even is. "I accept the mission."
Chaos smiled. "The mission is to save one of the first planets I made. It's one of the planets that I like the most very much... I'll just let you read the mission." he says as he waves his hand, a sheet of paper popping out of thin air, floating towards me.
I grabbed it and started to read. When I read it, I swear, my blood started to boil.
Mission
Galaxy: Milky way
Planet: #3, Earth
Objective: Defeat Kronos, Gaea and the giants.
People required: Tharraléos division
"Why do we have to help Them?" I growled, gripping the piece of paper tight.
Chaos sighed. "I know you don't like the gods and demigods but they need help. The titans and giants aren't any better."
"But what if the titans and giants are better rulers?" I argue back.
Chaos' eyes darkened. "I have been watching them for over millenias, and I know that the gods are better rulers then the titans and giants. Please do this mission for me. You can call it paying me back since I brought you here from Earth." he explained.
I let out a huge sigh of defeat. Father had me stuck there. "Fine. But only for you. Do we have to reveal our identity to them?" I ask.
"No, you don't have to reveal your identity if you don't want to." he said.
"Alright. Thanks father-- By the way, when are we leaving?" I ask.
"We can go to olympus right now to tell them that we're coming to help them with the war. So they don't just 'attack' us while we're trying to help them." Chaos stated.
I laughed at his statement. "They attack us?! I wonder if they could even lay a single hit on anyone." I joked. But It was true. The Tharraléos Divison was well-trained.
"Well, Let's go to Olympus and see."
Father then made a portal, just like the one when he brought me back home-- Only this one led to Olympus. We then both stepped through.
Olympus-- Here I come. I have returned but I am not the same. I am Divine, not Perseus Jackson anymore.
