In this world, there have been tales of ancient clans that once lived in the way of the Shinobi. Deep in a beautiful green forest, lives one of those clans. A clan that learned to live along side the creatures of the forest; Wildcats. They learned from the crafty creatures and even took on their form. The head of the clan has been past down all the way to the modern day Shinobi.

The Ancient Clan was led by Bardo Nekonome and his wife Kazane Nekonome until Bardo's sudden death. Now the clan is led by Bardo's younger brother Rai Nekonome until his nephew comes of age. Before Bardo's death, Kazane bore him two sons. The eldest son's name is Leaks. A handsome boy who keeps to himself and is the head of his village's Assassination Division. Although he's the oldest son and it was his father's wish for him to become the next clan leader, Leaks didn't wish to become the clan's next leader. Then there's the youngest son Konoe. He's also a handsome boy like his brother. After hearing that his brother didn't want to be clan leader, Konoe was more then happy to become the clan's next leader. Studying hard and learning what he can from his uncle.

Konoe is now fifteen and as all fifteen year olds he's full of energy and wants to hang out with his friends. While out on the edge of his clan's land a survivor of the Ōkami clan runs into Konoe and his two friends, Asato and Tokino. The Ōkami clan member accused Konoe's uncle Rai, of leading an attack against their village and as a result the capture of their leader and the disappearance of their leaders children. Wanting to prove that his clan and uncle had nothing to do with the attack on the Ōkami clan, Konoe, Asato and Tokino set out to search for the Ōkami clan lost children and return them to their clan. All will be reviled when they encounter other children from the other clans, and finds out the truth that one clan is out to destroy the rest.
