SHOT 3
Third person's pov!
Diya came into the guest bedroom. Dhruv sat next to her.
"Diya, stop worrying. I am here now. I will make everything alright.." Dhruv said.
"You don't know how it is. It is like they are a family and I am an outsider watching them. The three of them go to the park together. When she reads bedtime stories for him, Sid would linger around in the room." Diya cried.
"Why are you not getting yourself involved in these?" Dhruv asked in confusion.
"You are blaming me for the affair, bhai?" Diya asked, her heart breaking.
"Of course no, darling. I am just saying that this is your house. Ansh is your child. He is your husband. You are not forbidden from spending time with them. Nobody has the right to stop you." Dhruv said.
"I am an outsider.." Diya sobbed quietly, but Dhurv heard it and it tore his heart.
"Maybe you both should go on a vacation. I will take Ansh with me. What you both need is some alone time.." Dhruv said.
Diya had three miscarriages before conceiving Ansh. Ansh is a very energetic child. Diya, who never had to take any responsibilities in her life before, was suddenly saddled with the responsibilities of a child. It must have been exhausting for her and it might have led to their relationship being strained.
"I told him that last week. He panicked at the very mention of it. He said he is occupied at the moment.." Diya said and Dhruv clenched his teeth in fury.
The thought that Diya would also feel the same fate as their mother was killing him. What he really wanted to do was to get rid of Siddhant. Because, betrayal has no forgiveness in his rulebook. But his sister was too much in love with him.
But if ever Diya says that she doesn't want him anymore, then that would be the last day of Sidhanth Kothari's life.
"Don't worry. I will handle everything." Dhruv promised and Diya smiled, now relieved.
"Freshen up and come out. Ansh is in a hurry to spend time with you." Diya said and left the room.
Dhruv quickly took a shower and went out.
When he came out, he could hear the giggles of the little boy, but he couldn't see him. He could only see Shraddha. He stood there, not coming into her vision and watched her.
"Oh god! I think I lost that beautiful little boy again.." Shraddha said in a loud dramatic whisper and a giggle erupted from under the couch.
Dhruv watched, fascinated at the animated face of the nanny. Her face was very expressive. Her fair alabaster skin had a shade of pink hue to it. A few strands of her hair had come out of her braid and were kissing her cheeks now and again. Dhruv felt an irresistible urge to tuck her hair behind her ears and caress those soft looking cheeks.
What the bl**dy hell! Since when did he have such romantic fantasies? That too about the woman who is trying to break his sister's home?
"Uh oh! I lost him and now his mommy and daddy are going to be angry with me.." Shraddha said and another bout of giggle erupted from under the sofa again.
"I should take help from Detective Puppy here. Only he can find little Ansh now.." Shradda said loudly and took a stuffed puppy which was lying on the couch.
"What do you think, Detective Puppy? Where would little Ansh be? Oh my goodness! Can you see him? Where is he?" Shraddha said, her voice dramatic.
She kneeled on the floor and pushed the stuffed puppy under the sofa and bobbed it. The giggle grew louder.
"What, Detective Puppy? Do we have another mission? Uh oh! But I cannot join you without my beautiful Anshu. I will join you, if my Anshu is ready to join me. Anshu, are you joining me on the mission?" Shraddha asked, the last part loudly.
"Yes, yes.." Ansh screamed loudly and scrambled out from under the sofa.
Just as Ansh came out, Dhruv stepped forwards.
"Dhruv Mamu.." Ansh squealed and rushed to him.
"Toys, mamu.." Ansh demanded cutely and Dhruv laughed.
"Ansh, we don't ask for gifts, sweetie. It is bad manners." Shraddha explained gently.
"But Mamu always brings us toys.." Ansh said in confusion.
She crouched down next to them and looked at them.
"We don't want your mamu to think that you only care for what gifts he brought. He came to see you. That should be enough of a gift, right?" Shraddha asked with a soft smile and Ansh nodded eagerly.
Dhruv was grudgingly impressed by the way she was teaching the kids lessons of basic manners.
"That was a thoughtful way of explaining to the kids. Though I doubt he understood anything." Dhruv said with a chuckle.
"That's part of my job, Sir. And yes, he is only two and a half years old. He might not understand it. But it would get fed into his head if he heard it now and again." Shraddha said with a smile.
"You are quite good with the kid. Do you have previous experience?" Dhruv asked, making conversations.
"Yes. I used to babysit part time while I was studying. After that, being a nanny kind of became a permanent job for me." Shradda said.
"What did you study?" Dhruv asked curiously.
"BBA in graphic designing with animation." Shraddha said.
"Then why are you doing this job? Why don't you try some job apt for your qualification?" Dhruv asked curiously.
"Everyone needs experienced designers, Sir. Nobody wants freshers in their companies. Either an experience certificate or a masters degree is a must. So, I am doing something else I love and saving up, so that I can take up masters after a few years." Shraddha said and Dhruv was actually surprised hearing that she has some goals, other than getting cosy with Sid.
Dhruv saw his sister watching them anxiously. She looked like a shadow of her previous self. And it worried him. Her eyes look sunken and he looked leaner than the last time he saw her.
"Diya, you look really tired. Why don't you go for a spa day? Shraddha and I will look after the kids, Right, Shraddha?"

The initial chapters might seem a bit slow. But that is needed so that I can give proper introduction to the characters. Then I will increase the pace, just like I did in Punarvivaah...
