In the middle of the night I dock my ship in New York. I wanted to hurry and come home to Kathryn. I look at Gist with tired eyes.

"Well, I'm heading home," I tell him. Gist looks at me.

"Very well, Shay. I best be heading off too," Gist says. I nod, and I get off my ship. I head back to the house where I left Kathryn at.

Kathryn's POV

I wake up in the middle of the night to the baby kicking non stop inside of me. I sigh and I sit up and I start rubbing my swelling stomach.

"Your going to be quite the fighter when your older like your father, aren't you?" I start talking to the baby, "Oh, what should I name you?" I think of some names, "if your a boy, Nathan Lee Cormac; if your a girl, Haley Anne Cormac," I smile at the names I thought of. They both seem fitting.

I get up from the bed, but then I take a look at the empty space in the bed. I sigh, and I leave the bedroom. I go to the bookshelf in the living room. I scan for a book to read in bed until I get tired again. But then I hear the front door open look over and I see Shay standing at the doorway. Shay walks in the house and he closes the door behind him.

With his back turned to me, I walk up behind him and I wrap my arms around his waist. I lean my head against his back. Shay turns around and he wraps his arms around me.

"What are you doing awake, love?" Shay asks me. I lean my head on his chest.

"The baby was kicking me non stop, while I was sleeping, and now I'm awake," I explain to him. Shay sighs and he kisses my forehead. Shay places his hand on my stomach and he look down at it.

"You be good to your mother," Shay tells the baby. I chuckle at him. Shay then looks at me, he leans down and his lips capture mine, "oh god, I missed you,"

"I missed you too," I tell him. I smile at him, "tomorrow morning your going to have to tell me what I missed," Shay frowns at me.

"Trust me, you don't want to know," Shay tells me. I frown at him.

"Shay Patrick Cormac, you are not keeping me in the dark," I tell him. I let go of him and I place my hands on my hips, and I raise a eyebrow at him. Shay chuckles at the way I'm acting.

"Oh Kathryn Jane Cormac, you have always been very persistent," Shay tells me. I grin.

"Oh darling, it's my speciality," I tell him. I start to walk back to our bedroom.

"Oh yes, unfortunately it is," I hear Shay mumble. I turn around.

"What was that?" I ask smirking. Shay shakes his head and he chuckles.

"Nothing, sweetheart," Shay says innocently. I reach our bedroom first and I climb into bed. I place the blanket over me.

I look over and I see Shay coming in. He sits on the edge on his side of the bed. He takes of his boots and he places them at the edge of the bed. He stands up and he takes off his coat, and his vest; leaving him in only his linen white shirt, and black trousers. He then takes off his shirt, revealing his toned chest and abs. Shay glances over at me and he smirks.

"Like what you see?" Shay asks while grinning. I sit up.

"Yes, yes I do," I boldly tell him. Shay then climbs into bed with me, and he pecks my lips.

He then places the blanket over himself. I then scosche over to him. I lay my head on his chest. Shay wraps an arm around me. I look up at him.

"I thought of some names for the baby," I tell him. Shay looks down at me, "if it's a boy, Nathan Lee Cormac; if it's a girl, Haley Anne Cormac,"

"Nathan and Haley, I like those names," Shay says. I smile and Shay kisses my forehead. Then for the rest of the night I sleep peacefully in Shay's arms.
