Caiden P.O.V.

"What is this place?" I asked, gazing around the busy street at all the people. "Welcome Caiden to Diagon Alley!" Professor Malfoy smiled and waved his hand with a flourish. "We will stop at Gringotts first and then proceed to buy what you need." "Okay." I followed behind the blond professor. 

Once we finished with Gringotts, we headed back into the busy alley. "First stop, Flourish and Blotts." Professor Malfoy said. I entered the bookshop behind him, looking around at the high shelves and millions of books. "Go on Caiden." Professor Malfoy said gently "Go look and see if there are any books you'd like." I nodded and moved slowly further into the store. 

Walking up and down the aisles I studied the books ranging from defensive magic to dark magic and everything in between. I picked out a book about Potions and Healing by Salina Grey before making my way to  the counter. 

Lucius P.O.V.

I walked up to the counter after sending Caiden off to gather some books. "I'll need 2 sets of the first year book schedule please." The young man nodded and handed over two cases of year 1 books. "Is that all, sir?" I shook my head just as Caiden walked up carrying one book. "Is that all that interested you?" I asked, "Um....yes?" "Is that an answer or a question?" He kept silent for a moment "Answer professor." I raised my brow before shrugging and telling him to put the book onto the counter. After ringing up the purchases Caiden grabbed the heavy bag. Smiling gently, I took the bag from his small hands and magicked it down before putting it into my pocket. 

Caiden P.O.V.

After the book store, we headed to the Apothecary and then Scrivenshaft's. All too soon we finished and were headed over to Madam Malkin's Robe Shop. "You need to be on your best behavior here." Professor Malfoy said sternly "Madam Malkin is a very busy woman. So behave." I nodded and followed him into the shop. Moments after we entered, a cry of "Father!" distracted the professor. I watched as he embraced 2 boys with blonde hair. 

Lucius P.O.V.

"I thought you were busy today?" Draco asked stepping back, "Yeah. You said you wouldn't be here?" Loki parroted afterwards. "I am busy boys." I gave them both a smile and gestured to Caiden. "I'm showing Caiden around the alley as he gets his school things." "Oh." Draco glared at the boy, "The bastard child." "Draconis! That is enough." My husband said silkily from behind our youngest twins "It is not his decision." After a few minutes of talking my eldest, Salazar emerged from the back of the shop. "Professor?" Madam Malkin called "I'll take the boy now." I nodded and glanced at Caiden "Go on up." He nodded and moved forward slowly.

Salazar P.O.V.

As I emerged from the back of the shop, I smiled at my parents and brothers. Moving towards them, a tiny little boy caught my attention. He gently brushed past me and into the back room. I shook my head and walked over to my dad.

Caiden P.O.V.

I brushed by the older boy and hurried into the back rooms. "Climb on up child." The lady said gently. I clambered up onto the stool and stood still as she took my measurements. "All done." She spoke after a few minutes "Now all you need to do is choose the material. We have cotton, wool, silk, nylon, or it can be dragon hide?" "Um...the cotton please." "Are you sure little one?" I nodded quickly even though I was allergic to cotton. "All right it'll be done in a few minutes. Go wait in the front." I hurried out of the back room and smacked into a boy who was about a year or two older than me. "Careful there little one." He smiled gently before letting me go and walking past me. "All done?" The professor asked after I rejoined him in the front. I nodded and he gestured to an empty chair beside him. "Sit down." I sat and kept quiet.

"You don't talk much do you?" A voice spoke from beside me, I looked at the blonde beside me, "I'm Loki. Loki Thomas Malfoy." "C-Caiden." I stammered ducking my head down into my arms. "Are you okay?" "Yeah. I-I'm fine." I whispered. Loki shrugged before turning back to Draco and speaking with him. "Salazar Malfoy. Caiden." A women emerged from the back with 2 bags. After collecting my robes, I followed the professor outside. "Caiden." Professor Malfoy spoke suddenly "Go across the street and get your wand, it's the last thing on the list besides a pet. I will meet you in front of the pet shop in one hour." He turned briskly and walked away with his family. 

Blinking back the tears, I slowly walked across the street and entered the wand shop. "Ooh." A voice spoke from behind me suddenly, "I've been waiting for you Caiden Evans." The old man smiled and beckoned me forward. "Come, walk along the aisle and let your hand brush the boxes. Pull out the box that calls to your magic the most." I nodded and proceeded to walk through the 4 aisles, soon I reached the end. Walking back up to the front with my head hanging, I let the tears spill over. "Did you find a box little one." I shook my head, "I-I'm so-sorry for w-wasting y-y-your time." "Oh little one." He knelt down in front of me and smiled softly "You didn't waste my time. It just means that none of these wands will be compatible with your magic. That means that we need to make your wand. Now come with me." He took my hand and led me into the very back of the shop. Several jars, boxes and other weird things lined the shelves. 

"Come here." He drew me over to a table with lines of boxes. "Close your eyes and pick the wood that calls to you." Closing my eyes, I moved slowly along the table. Suddenly, a soft warmth radiated from under my palm. I opened my eyes and pulled out the box. Opening it, I lifted out the glistening white wood and turned to hand it to the man. "This way." He led me over to a shelf with several containers. "Do the same with these, then go over to the jars and do the same." I nodded and repeated the process. This time when I opened my eyes, I pulled out a gold feather with silver details and a white bird feather. Walking over to the jars, I closed my eyes and let my magic guide me. I withdrew a small jar of what seemed to be a golden white liquid and a jar of red fiery colored liquid. Walking back to the man, I showed him the objects. He smiled and led me back to the front.

Lorando's P.O.V.

I told the boy to lay the objects onto the table. I ordered him to close his eyes and then used magic to create the boys wand. "Open your eyes." He gasped at the sight of the wand in my hand. "So pretty." "It is." I smiled and handed it to him. "The wood is Angel Wood. It is a rare type of wood, that piece was the only piece ever harvested from the Angel Tree. You solid cores are two feathers. The angel feather signifies purity and gentleness. The dove signifies peace and serenity. These two cores are very rare because it is forbidden to harm doves and angels are almost never seen. You have 2 liquid cores as well. The first is Pegasus blood. Pegasus are rare creatures who mainly keep to themselves. It is forbidden to kill a Pegasus. The blood had a golden tint to it because it was willing given. The second is juice from the fire flower. Only found in the depths of hell, demons use it for it's healing powers." I told him gently "You have a kind and gentle soul. Don't let anyone break it." He nodded and smiled gently, cradling the wand close to his chest. 

Caiden P.O.V.

I reached into my pocket and pulled out my money pouch, "How much?" "Nothing. This wand has been waiting for you." I smiled and put the pouch back into my pocket. "Excuse me mister, where is the pet shop?" "Down the street 5 shops to the right and across the street." He smiled "Have a good day little one." I waved and skipped out of the shop. Skipping down the sidewalk, I counted the shops, before crossing and entering the pet shop. 

Animals of all shapes and sizes were in cages. Shaking my head I wandered through the shop and into the back. I followed the slight tug in my chest past cages and crates of animals before a hand grabbed my shoulder. Jumping lightly, I looked up at Professor Malfoy, "Pick one of the animals in the front of the shop Caiden." He steered me out of the back and into the front of the shop. "Silly boy, the back is where familiars are." Draco laughed at me. 

Sudden rushing footsteps made everyone turn and look, a young man with brown hair looked around the shop "Who was just in the back of the shop?" I stepped forward slowly, "I was." He looked me up and down before smiling. "Come with me." He took my hand and pulled me further back into the shop. We walked towards a side door, "I never thought it would react to anyone. It must have sensed you had come here." He pushed open the door, and I ended up flat on my back with a white wolf pup on top of me. "He's an Angel Wolf. Very rare and very powerful. He is your familiar." I picked the puppy up and followed the man back into the front. 

Lucius P.O.V.

Caiden emerged from the back of the shop carrying a white pup in his arms. "Take good care of your familiar now." "I will." Caiden smiled sweetly, skipping over to me. "He's very pretty." Loki said from beside me "What's it's name?" "His name is.....um...Nix." Caiden smiled "It means snow." "Sweet." Loki smiled. I chuckled and ushered both boys from the shop, to where Severus, Draco and Salazar were waiting. "Let's get back to the school." Sev smiled at me and we apparated the children back to Hogwarts
