Before turning towards Jeongin's house, Chan slowed the car down. He leaned back in his seat as Jeongin eyed him curiously.

"You know.. You can stay over if you want." suggested Chan, looking anywhere but at Jeongin as his fingers tapped on the steering wheel. He wanted, no, needed more time. A heavy feeling of longing captured his heart.

Jeongin giggled softly. "You're saying that now?"

Chan turned to lock his gaze with the latter's. "We can drive back."

After a moment, Jeongin tore his eyes away, gazing out the window at the overly familiar neighbourhood. He sighed.

Assuming his silence meant rejection, Chan stepped on the accelerator and pulled up in front of Jeongin's house.
He reached out and placed his hand over Jeongin's, then looked right into the younger's conflicted eyes. "Take care."

Jeongin nodded. Involuntarily, his gaze fell down to Chan's plush lips and he held his breath. Upon noticing, Chan moved his hand to grip Jeongin's face, then leaned in to meet his lips in a quick peck.

With the warmth still lingering on his lips, Jeongin mumbled, "Bye.. I'll see you tomorrow."

"Right. Don't forget our date." Chan smiled, the smile being returned with a timid one of Jeongin's own.

After mindlessly driving for a while, Chan decided to make a call and set the phone on speaker. Not even half a ring later, Felix picked up.

'Hey is it normal to cut the milk carton's top off and pour cereal into it then drink it instead of eat?'

Chan's eyebrows furrowed, his brain giving up for a split second. He shook his head with a sigh. "Lix what the fuck are you trying to do?"

'In general? Trying to stop thinking of someone. Right now? I don't know! Why did you call?'

Chan opened his mouth, then closed, his mind searching for the right words. Actually, why did I?

Felix stayed silent on the line, before speaking up again.

'You good?'

Chan could feel the concern in Felix's deep voice. A troubled expression painted over Chan's features. "No.." He inhaled, trying to keep his eyes on the road while attempting to sort his thoughts out.

"Lix - I feel weird.."

Chan breathed out slowly. He heard a sigh on the other side of the phone.

'Alright, I'm coming over.'

Once Felix hung up, a defeated smile took over Chan's lips. He had already, by this point, figured out what it was that set his heart on a mini marathon when with a certain somebody.

When Chan reached his apartment, Felix was already at the doorstep, his loose navy shirt tucked into his denim shorts. The dark colour perfectly contrasted with his milky skin. He gave Chan a smirk as the older walked closer.

Without a word, Felix grabbed Chan's shirt and pulled him closer, connecting their lips as Chan worked on unlocking the door behind the younger. While their lips still passionately moved against each other's, their breaths mingling, Chan lead Felix inside, his hands now on the redhead's waist.

He effortlessly lifted Felix up and placed him on the kitchen island, too caught up in the heated kiss to bother finding a better place. After a couple of minutes, lewd moans interrupted the silence. Chan wove his fingers into Felix's bright red locks while the latter wrapped his legs around Chan, entrapping him in between. From behind Chan's head, Felix let his hand provocatively slide down the other's toned chest, all the way down to the button of his jeans.

Chan instantly disconnected the kiss. "Felix-"
He sucked in a deep breath, trouble washing over the initial lust that glazed his eyes. With pink flushed cheeks, Felix awaited patiently, his fluffy red hair all tousled and previously tucked-in shirt unbuttoned, exposing the fresh purple marks that littered his neck.

Chan averted his gaze. "This.. It doesn't feel right anymore." He voiced softly.

Confused, Felix cupped his friend's cheeks, forcing the latter to face him. "Look at me. What happened?"

Chan remained quiet. With a sigh, he began buttoning Felix's shirt up. When he finished, Chan wrapped his arms around Felix waist and nuzzled against his neck. Felix gladly returned the warm embrace.

"I'm sorry.."

The words made Felix hold his breath, wondering if he heard Chan right. He wasn't even particularly sleepy or tired to have possibly imagined it.

He peeled Chan's hands off him to look at the older. "Did you just - what did you say?"

A halfhearted smirk lifted Chan's lips. "I said I'm sorry. You can stay the night.. We can cuddle." Chan paused, then looked into Felix's eyes with his own determined ones. "But nothing more, okay?"

To say Felix was surprised wasn't enough. He was a mixture of confusion and disbelief, all at once. He nodded, respecting Chan's choice. But he knew, there was something different, and he was keen to find out what.

After making themselves some hot chocolate, Felix settled on Chan's bed and flipped through the channels on Chan's bedroom TV, while the latter spaced out beside him.

The redhead's face brightened on a certain channel and he decided to keep it on.

Noticing this, Chan narrowed his eyes. "Are you seriously going to watch Oggy and.. And what?"

"Oggy and the mother fucking cockroaches." Felix grinned, his sparkling eyes never leaving the screen. As he heard Chan chuckle at him mockingly, he shot him an offended glare. "This was my childhood you lobster."

As the words left his lips, he attacked Chan with a pillow. They broke out into a fit of laughter that soon died down into almost silence, the TV volume being the only sound.

"Chan."

Felix's voice cut through the tension as he shifted his position to face Chan, who stiffened. "There's something bothering you, right?"

Chan puffed his cheeks. "No-"

"Yes." Felix sighed.

Groaning, Chan messed his hair. "It's just- it's nothing Lix.."

"Just what? Come on, tell me!" whined Felix, shooting another glare at the other.

A moment later, Chan spoke up, "Jeongin.. I guess."

The redhead lifted a single brow at the answer. "You guess?" He scoffed. "You know you might have caught feelings.. I don't know? Just saying."

Chan snickered. I already know. "Whatever, it doesn't matter."

Shrugging, Felix decided to drop the topic. "Anything you say."
