So much has happened recently, some seriously good and others (seriously) seriously bad and dare I say it *cough* orange *cough*.

Let's start with orange shall we?

You may have heard in passing that America has got a new president? Some guy named Donald Pain-In-The-Ârse or something like that?

HE WON. HE FCKING WON.

now, brexit was bad enough. My uncle voted to leave as protest coz he didn't think it would win (which is a stupid enough thing to do), but Trump is a whole new level of stupid.

i feel sorry for his son, Barron. For a start, being called Barron Trump must suck. And having a stupid, racist, orange president for a father? Poor kid. He's not gonna be liked much. And tbh his face in Trump's acceptance speech was enough to cause hysterics, let alone Trump's actual speech (he sounded drunk. or on drugs. or like he was so sure he would lose he didn't write a speech and had to improvise. i'm still praying that by January they'll have found some crime he's committed or he'll do something so awful that he can't be President and they have another vote. on the other hand, we've got until January to assassinate him. current affairs field trip- who's coming?). I mean, he clearly wished his dad supported abortion.

Sucks

Is no one else worrying about the fact that he is currently being taught how to rest the big red button labelled "nuclear missiles"? Especially given that the president needs no permission to press it...

There is a theory that Trump is a time traveller from 2036 here to prevent a nuclear war (many people actually believe this, and quite a few think that WW3 will occur later with Trump than it would with Clinton). I think it's pretty stupid but here it is if you're interested:

On a brighter note, so many exciting things have happened in the world of music!!!!!!

(As a bonus intro, who has seen the Florence Foster Jenkins film?????? It is amazing and I recommend you all to watch it. It stars Meryl Streep and also Hugh Grant (a relative of Thomas Sangster 😉😏- just saying) and also Simon Helberg (who you probably know from The Big Bang Theory). It is amazing. Simon Helberg was incredible too. He was so funny and he played the piano amazingly, especially as he had to stop and start almost randomly with Meryl Streep. As a pianist I know how hard that would've been (and it is actually him playing) and to be that comedically funny at the same time? He has serious talent.)

And now let's (properly) start with Taylor Swift!

So, a while back (I haven't had time to write about it for wayyyy too long) Taylor Swift wrote a new song! She's not released it herself but rather written it for a band called Little Big Town.

This is exciting for many reason.

Firstly, I love the way it slams Calvin wayyyyy too much, which is stupid as I adored them together wayyyy too much but it's so sassy 💁🏼🙌🏼

I am becoming OBSESSED. Literally.

For 5 days I listened to nothing but Shout Out To My Ex. It's such an amazing song. I finally broke the cycle and managed to listen to half of Wings before I was back to SOTME. It's such an incredible song I love it. And the music video 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

And also, Jake and Jesy.

I panicked so bad when I thought they were over. I was literally crying.

Thank god it seems like they're still together. And they've bought a house together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So exciting!

I'm desperate for the wedding but they've said it will probably be a few years.

And little mix said in an interview they want to all have babies at the same time for 2 reasons: 1. So that they can all come back from maternity leave and keep releasing songs and 2. So their kids can create a band. I can't wait for next gen little mix.

Speaking of a little mix, I want to get a little mix tee-shirt. I'll explain why in a second (that's my rlly exciting news). I'm desperately trying to find one but there are so few :(

For you Americans who have no idea wtf I'm babbling on about, the Jingle Bell Ball is a massive concert run by Capital FM (the best radio station). It's at the O2 (a big concert-y place) and all the biggest stars from over here go. It's over two days and there's a different lineup each night. It's really hard to get tickets for, and quite expensive, but it happens every year and there's a Summertime Ball as well every year, which is the same just in the Summer, and at Wembely (which I can't spell) which is pretty cool
