For Chan, looking attractive wasn't a task that required any skill, he could effortlessly pull off any look, and manage to steal the hearts of everyone no matter what he chose to wear.

So when he especially put some thought into his outfit and decided to wear fitting leather pants paired with a cropped tee that exposed his toned abs if he raised his arms, literally all eyes were on him, from lustrous to shy, to some even curious. Chan didn't mind the attention though, all he wanted was to have his date go well.

And by that, Chan had no idea what he meant. He didn't know what he wanted, when he felt he wanted things to go well today. Because it was the final day of his penalty, and things were bound to end, not 'go well'. When the thought flipped his stomach, Chan growled, once again, catching the attention of the blushy girls and boys in the café.

Somebody cleared their throat, making Chan snap his head in the direction. There stood a familiar boy dressed as a waiter, nervously fiddling with his notepad.

"Wh-What would you like to order..?" He asked.

"Oh Seungmin." Chan recognized the boy, who flinched as his name rolled out of Chan's mouth. "My date isn't here yet. I'll order when Jeongin gets here."

Seungmin's eyes almost popped out at the words but he immediately gave a nod and retreated. Chan's eyes travelled across the comfortable café. Then instantly, 'comfortable' turned into 'uncomfortable'. He took note of the countless familiar faces seated around, with their eyes sneaking glances at Chan. Chan tensed his jaw and silently cursed.

Stupid Felix. He had to choose a place where half our schoolmates often visit.

"RULE 7:
It's the day today yay!
Location: Wooj's café

Treat him nicely.

Then humiliate him in front
of EVERYBODY, and ditch him.
Haha, moment of truth. ;)
(Sunday)"

The unsettling in Chan's insides intensified. It felt surreal; A week had just flown past, yet felt slow. Over the days, the emptiness of being detached from his 'bully' identity had grown and now Chan felt used to it. What would it be like to use your strength and shove punches onto an innocent boy's stomach? Something about the thought made Chan feel like gagging. Because without warning, all that appeared in his mind was the heavenly sight of Jeongin's smile. His so, so incredibly precious smile.

For one last time, he pushed the disturbing thoughts to the back of his mind to focus on his little date.

Although Chan was supposed to pick Jeongin up, the latter convinced him he'd be able to come by himself. Chan glanced at his wristwatch, the time indicated it was a few minutes past six in the evening.

He never expected the younger to be someone who was unpunctual, so it surprised him that Jeongin wasn't here even after their assigned meeting time had passed.

Half past six. At this point, Chan was beginning to feel annoyed. Maybe it was the nonstop glances from the familiar faces from school, or maybe he was getting tired of waiting.

In attempt to remain patient, Chan inhaled. He noticed Seungmin occasionally look at him then flinch and look away when Chan caught him. When he felt his phone buzz in his pocket, Chan was quick to grab it, but the hope died down as immediately as it appeared. Because Chan didn't have any form of contact with Jeongin and he was only hoping it'd be something from the boy.

Instead, he saw a notification from Minho that read,

Where's your lil fox?
Did he really just ditch you lol

Chan put his phone back in with a groan. He looked around the place and spotted Minho in the far left corner by the window, pretending to look through a menu. He peeped from above the menu and wiggled his eyebrows at Chan, who instead glared at him. Fuck off Minho.

But he couldn't prevent Minho's message form replaying in his head. Would Jeongin ditch him like that? It was already getting way too late. Why else was he not showing up?

He had enough.

He stood up abruptly, the chair being harshly pushed back with a screech that disturbed the atmosphere. As if enough people weren't scanning Chan's moves already, even more customers turned their attention to him. He cursed under his breath as he glared at some of them, then stormed right out the café. Fuck this. Fuck Minho. Fuck Jeongin. Fuck Felix for the penalty. Fuck Chang- wait, he was barely involved in this.

As he barged his way out through the doors, just as he turned to his right, something bumped into his chest and stumbled backwards.

Chan knitted his eyebrows. The boy was out of breath, obvious tear stains covering his red cheeks.

"Jisung?" Chan peered into the boy's face, his actions causing Jisung to move back a little in fear.

"Please h-.." mumbled Jisung, the last bits barely coherent.

Chan clasped his hands on either sides of the boy's shoulders and squeezed. He knew Jisung was afraid of him, but he no longer felt like bullying the brunette.

"What are you saying? Slow down."

"H-H-Help pl-please.." Jisung trembled, daring to look into Chan's eyes as his own began watering.

"Please don't stutter and tell me clearly." Then an alarm went off in Chan's head, a new feeling of panic rising. "Wait- Where's Jeongin? Is he safe? Why are you crying? Help with what?"

Jisung exhaled slowly, then grabbed Chan's arms with pleading eyes. "S-Save him please.. He's- Home, he wants you there, please, he's not okay."

Chan sucked in a breath, trying to comprehend the situation. Then, he grabbed Jisung's wrist. "You're coming with me."
