A/N So this is another of the squad's POV chapters specifically Valerie then I'm going to be doing chapters with different POV's in each chapter maybe even POV's of characters not in the squad.

Hey guys what are you doing here?i thought we were .... 

sorry but we can't be friends anymore says Lola  everyone else in the squad nods .

But , but I thought we were friends I stammer ,

 We've all decided that with going to different schools that will just be hard on our friendship and we will just begin to drift away from each other answers Maddie 

No No No!!! I scream

No!!!! I'm still screaming from the bad dream ,  Frankie cuddles me and makes me calm down when  my mom bursts into my room with a worried look on her face and her deep , dark brown eyes full of concern for my well being  

" Honey are you okay I heard your screams and already worried of what terrible thing could've happened" she says 

"I'm okay mom I just had a bad dream " I say .

"What was it about ? ,  was it about your father " she said with a sad faraway look in her eyes 

"No" I answer  with a sad expression remembering what happened to my father only when I was only  10 years old it was when I was 13 my mom told me the truth about how he was killed by a police officer when we were in Michigan , U.S. to this day I have always supported Black Lives Matter and vowed not to let any  injustice like that to happen again 

Me and my mom hug each other as we both shed a tear. "Don't worry your father is up there in heaven looking down over us and safe from this cruel world" she said blinking back tears.

I went down for breakfast wearing a tank top paired with a denim jacket and black jeans

"what's for breakfast mom" I say 

"Eggs and Bacon with a glass of milk or orange juice" she says like a waiter reading off a menu as I take a seat on a stool near the island shaking my head amusingly , my mom always knew how to make me feel better . I quickly finished my breakfast and hurried out the door but hug my dog Frankie "I"ll be back okay don't miss me too much" I say to Frankie her already giving me cute puppy dog eyes 

"Hope you have a great day at school Honey !" 

"Thanks mom bye! And bye Frankie "

I  walked to the school bus waiting at our house and walked up the steps of the bus scanning the bus almost empty  then seeing Sofia waving and smiling at me sitting in the middle section of the bus. 

"Hey Sofia"

"Hi Val"

"Well this bus sure is empty" I say looking around as I set down my maroon Jansport backpack next to me 

"Well Alan(Sofia's older brother) told me that very few people go on the bus because it is an old haunted bus that the school bought years ago when it had a low budget he's obviously joking though he even started taunting me ooohh you"ll get haunted Sofia " she says as she rolls her eyes 

Me chuckling , Alan was always the joking type but he could also be a protective older brother sometimes I wish I could have an older brother or at least a sister but then I remember my sweet loving pug Frankie. 

We arrive at Crestview and woah this school is huge it also had rows of trees near the entrance with benches with people sitting on them and a bunch of people walking around chatting and   I stare and gawk at it as me and Sofia get off the bus.

We headed inside the school to get to the office when a guy with milk chocolate skin and and dark brown eyes bumps into me and makes me crash 

"Hey watch were you're going" I say as I get up the ground and he helps me up looking at me with his brown eyes 

"Sorry " he says sounding genuine 

"Why don't I introduce myself my name's Aiden , and yours" says the guy

"Valerie , oh and that's my best friend Sofia" I answer as Sofia says an awkward wave looking nervous I wonder why she's acting weird

"I'm guessing your both are new here" 

"yeah we were just gonna go the office to get our schedules" I say while Sofia still seems to be in an awkward state , "well bye maybe we"ll see you later " 

"yeah maybe If I see you later I can help you locate your classes" he says still looking mostly at me with his dark brown eyes smiling then walking away

"yeah" I say then I grab Sofie's hand and we rush over to what is most likely the reception with a kind looking lady with long curly auburn hair looking like she was at least in her 40's

And that's the end of Valerie's POV I wanted to show awareness for the black lives matter movement throw Valerie's loss and this chapter in general no one should be treated wrongly because of the colour of their skin and not all the police are bad so we shouldn't put them in one group and say their all bad but the police should treat each and every citizen with respect just like  good citizen would do to them.
