JAYLA POV:

'Yasss! Finally, we're in high school. No more uniforms' I look over to my best friend Brittany. "Hay Britt! Can't you believe it? No more uniforms." I tell her. "I know right. We looked like we belong in prison, even though some of them need to be. But still though." She said. We just laughed. We both check our schedules. I look at her and mines. My smile went away. "Britt!!! We only have one class together out of 8. I believe they tried to split us up." I tell her. "I know!! But at least we have a class together and it's in the morning. So calm down." She tells me hitting me on the arm. "Ouch!' I tell her. "What? I didn't even hit you hard." She smiles. This girl hits like a man even when she play hitting. I'd hate to see how hard she hit when she mad. I see two girls come up to us. "Hay I'm KeKe" The natural haired girl said. "And I'm Mariah" The thick girl said. I wave at them and Britt waves. "I'm Jayla and this is Brittany" I tell them. We all soon get acquainted and start talking. A group of boys come in and laugh with each other. Mariah and KeKe look around and go say hey to them. It looks like they know them. I look at Britt and she is on her phone. I hit her. "Ow! What was that for Jay?" She fakes a hurt look. "You so dramatic and you not suppose to be on your phone." I tell her shaking my head. She looks at me. "So? We in gym crazy. We aren't doing nun in here no way. Well not now." She says. I just shake my head. I see Mariah and KeKe walking towards us with the group of boys.  They soon stop in front of us. "Wassup i'm Caesar." The boy with glasses and a maroon hoodie said. "I'm Dontavious" Another boy with glasses said. "John" A boy with curly hair said. "I'm Maurice" A boy with some big muscles and a toned body said. "Aka superman" Mariah said. "Hey I'm Jayla but my best friend call me Jay." I tell them. They look at Britt. She's on her phone so i hit her. "Ow! What I do this time?" She says. I point to the group of people in front of us. She looks at them and then look back at me. "Okay and?" She says shaking her head. I hit her. "Stop being mean." I tell her. She hits me back. "Ow! Dang little strong man handed girl" I rub my arm. "That's my best friend Brittany, but I call her Britt." I tell them. "Is she always mean?" KeKe ask. "Yupp. This is my mean bestie" I lean on Britt. "Man I am not mean. I just don't like people" She says. Everyone sits down.  Britt and I do our handshake. When we get done, we see everyone looking at us. "What the hell was that?" John ask. "That's our handshake. I made it-" Britt cut me off by hitting me. "We made it up. Stop trying to take all the credit." She tells me laughing. "Wow she talks." Caesar  said. She just looked at him. "I wouldn't mess with her. She might be a girl but she a dang man trapped in a girls body." I tell him. "Shut up Jay. I do not hit that hard." She tells me. "Bruh. The only boy that could take your punches was Lejaric strong self. Both of yall are dangerous." I tell her. "She can't hit that hard." Caesar said smirking. Before I could tell him, she punched him in the stomach. He punched her back hard and she punched back even harder. In the end, she won because he was holding his arm and his stomach. I laughed. "Well you didn't believe me." I told him. I look at Britt. "Did you have to hit him so hard?" I ask. "Man i didn't even hit him hard." She said. "Bruh you a man. That was hard. Strong self." Caesar said. She shrugged her shoulders. "So....How are you?" I look over to see Maurice talking to me. "I'm good. Just trying to keep my bestie out of trouble. How are you?" I ask him. "I'm great. I get to talk to you." He tells me. I just look at him. ~Okayyy...What was that about?~ I just nod and keep talking to him.

BRITT POV:

I look over to see Jay talking to Maurice, I think that's his name. I just look at Jay and see that she looks uncomfortable. I laugh and get on my phone. "Aye why do you hit like a man?" I look over to see the rest of the group looking at me. "I lift weights and live in a house with four brothers. What did you expect? A girl to be weak? Nahh" I tell them. "Are you gay?" That KeKe girl ask me. "No I'm straight. Why would you think I'm gay?" I ask her. "Because you dress and act like a dude." The Mariah girl said. "I'm not a girly girl. " I say. "Yeah she's very violent and will hit you and not care." Jay butted in. "Yeah, unlike my best friend who likes to wrestle and dropkick people." I laugh. "So? You like to stab people and kick people. You just down right dangerous." She say. "So? I don't like when people mess with me or my family or my best friend. I'm going to jail if they do." I say. "And I'll bail you out." She laughs. I start to get up. "Oh shut up and stay over there flirting with your soon to be husband" I laugh and take off. Jay runs after me, but I run faster than her. We both get tired and go sit back down. Jay sits on me. "Get your fat self off of me" I laugh. She shake her head. I reach my arm up and smack her on the head. "Ow! You know that's my soft spot!." She said getting off me. "Duhh. That's why i hit you there." I laugh. She hit me and I hit her back by reflex. It sounded off. She grabs her arm. "Dang Brittany." She says. I hug on her. "I'm sorry. It was a reflex." I laugh. "I know. I forgot about your reflexes." She says laughing. "Wait...She just punch the living mess out of you and you laughing?" Caesar asked. We look at each other and then to him. "Yeah. That's how our friendship is." Jay tells him. "You two got a messed up friendship." I think his name is John who said that. "Oh he talks" I say sarcastically. "Shut up girl" He tell me. ~Did he just tell me to shut up~ I look at Jay and she reads my face. I go to get up, but she holds me back. "No Britt. You can't hurt people you just met." She tells me. "Bruh. She hurt me!" Caesar said. I laugh. "No. Let her go. She can't hit hard no way." He says. Jay let me go and I go up to him and punch him in the chest. He bends over holding his chest. "Dang girl! What you take? Steroids!?" He says. I just look at him and walk back to Jay and sit down. "I tried to tell you." Jay said. "I could've told you she hit like a straight man." Caesar tells him.  "I don't even hit hard." I tell them. They just look at me. I just shrug my shoulders. My phone vibrates. "Jay who text me?" I ask her. She grabs my phone and looks at it. "Jamario thirsty self." She tells me. "Tell him that we not getting together so he can hang that up." She texts him and just go through my phone. "Dang. You didn't even give the boy a chance." Caesar said. "She just straight rejected the dude." KeKe said laughing. "What? I don't have time for no dudes that think that I need to depend on them." I say. "Got that right Britt." Jay and I high five. I feel a pair of eyes on me and I look up to see John looking at me. "Uh can I help you?" I ask him. He just looks at me. ~Okayy.....Weird~ Jay hands me my phone back. "You just let her go through your phone?" Mariah ask. "Yeah. She always does that." I tell her. I go in Jay bag and eat her bag of chips. "You just let her eat your snacks?" They ask Jay. She hit me. I laugh. "She always eat my food. Britt you lucky I have another bag of chips in here or I would hit you." She said. "You already did" I laugh. She laughs and hits me again. 

Yeah. Me and Jay have a violent and weird relationship, but it's how we are and I wouldn't change it for the world.
