Plan's POV
I was wondering whether I should leave Kimmon's pizza place, now that all the guests had gone. I did not want to sit around waiting for him while he finished whatever business he had in his back office.
I instructed Kimmon's employees to start cleaning up the place. I told them they could take home whatever drinks and untouched left over dishes there were from the inauguration banquet.
I lingered around making small talk with the employees as they busied themselves cleaning up and tidying up the place.
I put my hand in my pocket, as was my habit whenever I was just standing idly at any place, and my fingers touched the handkerchief that I had used earlier to wipe the champagne that I had accidentally made Mean spill on his suit.
But wait there was something else in my pocket besides the handkerchief. It was a hard piece of paper, like a small card or ticket.
I fished it out of my pocket. It was a business card.
"Earth Pirapat Watthanasetsiri, Mayor" was what was printed on the card. Below his name was the name of our city and then below it was a set of contact numbers. A set of three contact numbers. The first was the city mayor's trunk line that would probably be answered by a receptionist who could connect you to any of the departments within the mayor's office, the next set was his direct line which would most probably be answered by his secretary and the third set of numbers was his personal contact number, his cell phone most probably.
The business card was thick and velvety and was lined with gold color. It seemed like a special card, like it was something that he did not hand out to just anybody.
I absentmindedly put it back in my pocket. Who knows maybe in the near future I might need to ask him any favors that his office could do for me or Kimmon's business.
I got tired of standing around and decided to walk over to Kimmon's back office to let him know that I was going home. He could always just follow when his business was over.
Without knocking on the door, I pushed it open slowly and quietly.
Kimmon and Copter were locked in a tight embrace.
"What the fuck!!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs.
They broke apart.
"It's not what you're thinking," Copter was starting to say when Mean came up from behind me.
"I just wanted to see if Copter was ready to go home," Mean said. "He needs a ride home because we came here together."
"Oh, if it's just a ride you're worrying about, I can give him a ride home," I heard Kimmon declare.
Copter stepped forward saying, "I'm ready to go home now, Mean."
As soon as Copter and Mean left the room, I turned to Kimmon.
Brandishing my index forefinger at his face, I declared emphatically "We. Are. Over."
Kimmon made a step toward me.
"Don't do this, babe," he started to say but before he could reach me, I ran out of the room.
