A lovely story... a almost expected plot..almost but not quite.
I have always loved this author's writing style, it is really good.

The characters are so believeable for a Victorian kind of time period.
I especially love the twins ! The supporting characters all add an extra dimension to the story.
The Everard family and all their adventures is one enjoyable ride to read about !
