My Review : This is the book i am currently reading. Waiting for the author to update soon. I chose this first because i was highly impressed by the story and the amount of readers it got. Its really a wonderful feeling to see a book based on Islamic culture gaining so much success. The book is #1 Spiritual and #1 Romance. And it deserves every bit of the reads, votes and comments it is getting.
The main characters of the story are so real, you will feel like you know them personally. (Thats what i felt) They are easy to understand and well-defined. The romance between them is pure, clean and gives that ticklish feeling where you feel like being in the character's shoe itself, just to know how the characters must be feeling. Without those mushy-cheesy scenes, without even seeing each other the couple adored each other from the little talk they had on whatsapp and later when they actually got married - just with a look, a smile and many a times even without words the couple's romance, mutual understanding and caring for each other left me feeling so dreamy and wishing/wondering if all of it can be real. Even the conflict that is taking place as i read, seems so relateable, and not too dramatic and dragged. Its simply a feel good story and heart-touching moments have been weaved in very expertly, you will not feel bored anywhere.
Apart from this, The author did a wonderful story-telling along with explaining traditions and practise of Islam in the best ways. It would sure help people enlighten about Muslims and our practises. It is one such story which everyone will love to read and get acquainted about the lifestyle of muslims.
Final Words : Worth Reading x twice. Its just that good. xD
~Interview with KittyCrackers~
1) Your Bio.
~ Born and raised in the UK playing football with my brother, uncles and neighbour (I was a tomboy). Then, I accepted that I was a girl and then came the half tomboy half hijabi phase of my life. Finally, I grew into feminity (it was a struggle) but tomboyish things like football still interest me :) My life's had its ups and downs but its been overall a really good life, not so interesting though.
2) What Influenced you into writing this story?
~ I wanted to write a completely Halaal Love Story so young Muslim women could see that a person can fall in love without any sins. I read a few stories before writing which had a bit of haraam stuff going on - That influenced me.
3) How you chose the title and the name of the characters in the story?
~ I wrote the chapter and clicked on published when Wattpad said I need a title. Then I wrote the frist thing that came into my mind thinking I'll change it later. It took of rather quickly and I didn't get time to change it. Characters... I name some after my cousins and I usually use names I like.
4) Who is your most favourite character and why?
~ My favourite character's Yusuf becasue he's not perfect, but he's kind of charming. None of my characters are perfect but I like Yusuf's imperfections with his limp and insecurities. It annoys me but warms me to him.
5) Who is your least favourite character and why?
~ My least favourite character is at the moment, Yusuf's dad, Uncle Suleiman. You thought I was going to say Aunt Jerry, didn't you? The thing about Uncle Suleiman is that he's useless in some ways. He's really sweet but it's like, Come on Dude! Do Something! LOL
6) Your Favourite Moment in the Story :
~ "My name Hamja..." Hehe
7) What are your future plans for the story? Will it have a sequel/trilogy?
~ Will it have a sequel...? Hmm...? I want to say no but... You never know... If i get sudden inspiration, it might have a sequel.
8) Are you planning to publish the story in Hard Cover?
~ I want to publish it. I'm going to try, In'sha'Allah
9) Your message to the readers.
~ Now these thank you's may get annoying but i'd like to thank all the readers for reading, voting, commenting and just being the awesome people they are. :D
Hope you Enjoyed reading, Wawwttsomer's. Pour in your feedbacks and wait for the second book to be added in this collection. :)
