Hey guys! It's y'alls favorite and absent author-nim Roadwork_Ahead. I want to start off by saying how extremely sorry I am for not updating, and kinda unintentionally abandoning this book. Not too long ago, my Wattpad account information (such as my IP address and other things) were leaked during the hack that happened in June. I had no knowledge of this event until I saw a tweet detailing what had happened (of all the places to get news it just had to be Twitter). After that I somewhat lost my account, having to create a new password and make sure that I did link the account to other third party login sites. Unfortunately when I logged back in the chapters to the book were gone, but luckily I had moved them to google docs before my account was seemingly lost. As you can see, they have been reuploaded and now I am starting from scratch in terms of views and votes.

This obviously seems like a good excuse to say why I haven't updated with more chapters, but the truth is I've neglected this book for so long and have made so many empty promises to update that now I even find it ridiculous. In all honesty, my motivation to update is still as passionate as when I published the first chapter but every time I open the unfinished chapters it becomes difficult to write, to focus, to even type a single sentence brings me such frustration.

So many of you have given your unending support, well wishes and expressed desire of hoping for the book to be updated; I am very grateful for it but it pains me because I can't give what I've promised since May of 2019 (yes it's been that long). Instead of offering a new promise, I'll just try my best to give all of you an update that was worth the long wait and hope that you enjoy what I have to offer.

I also do not plan to publish any fanfictions in my drafts until I have enough chapters for this book. I don't want you all to get bored, and I still feel very bad for not providing y'all with updates.
