Trigger Warning: Eating Disorders and Mental Health Issues

As Ten and Lisa start to realise how close they are , Lisa moves a bit in his arms , nervous from the situation she was in. Ten's eyes were looking straight in hers and she had never seen that look on Ten's face before. It was indescribable. His eyes were telling her not to move and to stay close to him , but his scrunched eyebrows of confusion said otherwise. Her heart was pulsing in her chest and she could feel her cheeks tense up. Ten's nose was almost touching Lisa's when she snapped out of it and pushed him away. 

Woah. What just happened. Ten was extremely confused by what was going on in his mind right now. He never felt any platonic feelings towards Lisa , so why didn't he let her go? Unknowingly he held her tighter and his eyes never left hers , his skin rose with goosebumps and a blush rose to his cheeks? How was all this happening now? They've been friends for more than they could remember , would this marriage really have a chance of ruining that friendship? 

Ten gave an awkward chuckle as he tried to brush all those thoughts away from his mind. There's no way he's going to loose Lisa by this , nothing is good enough to loose a friendship like theirs. Lisa awkwardly moves her hands behind her back as Ten scratches the back of his neck. 

"I'm going to go wash up at home now before I catch a cold , well see you!" Ten said quickly wanting to escape the awkwardness as he ran out of the pool and grabbed a towel to dry himself on the way to his car. 

The next day Lisa and Ten's parents had decided their wedding day and they had to meet again. Lisa worked as a choreographer for a famous dance company in Thailand and the families decided to meet near her workplace , so she walked to the restaurant from her company , in a rush since she left a little late. 

"So you're getting married in 6 months." their parents said unanimously as Ten and Lisa took time to process what they just said. 

"6 months? We don't know each others habits at home and how we'll manage chores and work and the pets and so much , don't you guys think 6 months is a bit too early?" Ten said faster than Lisa could think about it. 

"6 months from now is an auspicious time , our astrologists suggested it and we can't delay it dear...." Ten's mom said with a little bit regret. 

"Well then why don't you guys do a live in?" Lisa's dad suggested. He had always been fond of Ten since they were younger and found him appropriate to marry his daughter and didn't mind it one bit. He actually always seemed to look at them as more than friends , they way they acted always showed signs of it. He was very happy to see his daughter settling down and being successful. 

"Fixed! Our penthouse is just ready from renovation and it's perfect for these two to get used to living with each other before tying the knot." Ten's dad said. 

"Oh really? Oh thank you so much , I bet they'll enjoy spending time together!" Lisa's mom smiled as Lisa watched on not believing how fast things were moving. I mean it had barely been 3 days since Ten even asked her to marry him and now they're talking about moving in together and she didn't know if she was ready for it , physically or mentally. Lisa had a hard time adjusting to new places than her home , which is why Ten and Lisa didn't spend much time as sleepovers or at each other's houses and needed time to know how the other person lives , I mean what if Ten's the kind of not put the toilet seat down and what if I'll need to do all the chores in the house? I mean I have a job too , and it's not like I'm giving it up for a fake marriage. What if he brings other girls into the house while she's here? Not only would that be embarrassing as hell but also it would break her heart. I mean why did she agree to this in the first place? Ten isn't the best at reading feelings , he didn't notice her hints for so long , what's he going to notice now and when this all ends will she be able to move on from him? It's not like he's going to personally pay rent for living in her heart for so long and then leave. This breakup would damage her bad and she knew it too. But it's Ten. He's done so much for her in the past , she can do this much for him right? 

"Lisa stop being ridiculous. That's not a meal , that's a snack. You haven't had anything all day and it's 4pm , you expect me to let it slide when you're having just an apple for lunch?" Ten said watching her actions as she shifted the rice and soup from her food tray to Ten's as she took a bite into the apple. 

"In fact , I've been watching you for the past 2 weeks now , you've been eating lesser and lesser every meal and your wrists are getting thinner too. You refuse to eat at the canteen and always push me to eat at the rooftop where it's only us , wear baggy clothes every day even to work out ,  check your weight every day. Tell me seriously Lisa. Are you ok?" He says with general concern in his eyes. 

Lisa's eyes droop a little with every word he says. She's been feeling so dizzy lately. She tried to think of a response to what Ten was saying , but her mind wouldn't cooperate and she felt a sharp pain in her head as everything around her started to move in circles. Suddenly she fell towards Ten involuntarily and her eyesight blacked out. 

"Lisa? Lisa?? LISA?! ARE YOU OK?" Ten said with panic in his eyes as he caught her thin frame before she landed in his lap. He turned her around to see her eyes shut and unresponsive. His brain went into a mode of panic as a million thoughts ran inside his head , his heartbeat sped up as he tried to think of something to do. He checked her heartbeat first , putting two fingers on the side of her neck , as his eyes showed pure panic. Luckily he found it normal ,  but her skin was ice cold. He quickly scooped her up on his back as he ran down the stairs of their college towards the clinic. 

Two days later Lisa was diagnosed with an eating disorder and hyperthyroidism. She couldn't believe it. She started wanting to loose weight so she can dance freely and feel more confident about herself , but she never realised how toxic and obsessive her weight loss habits got and it led to a drop In her hormone levels causing her to experience severe fatigue , loss of weight and low energy levels all the time. It took a long time for her to recover but Ten had been the most supportive for her than anyone. He always helped her catch up with school when she couldn't make it , urged her to slowly start eating more and caring less about her weight in a natural and supportive way and brought her back to normal. Once her thyroid levels were found to be normal , he even took her to a water park to celebrate , where she could wear a body con swimsuit and look at herself in the mirror feeling confident and not hating what she saw. 

He saved her from something that could've escalated into something way more serious and she was always so thankful to him for it. She could do this much for him. 

"Lisa? LISA!" Ten said as Lisa jolted and looked back up being pulled away from her thoughts as her name was called into the conversation. 

"You're moving in tomorrow sweetheart , if you need any help packing you can always ask me okay?" Ten's mom said smiling and holding her hand as Lisa returned the smile. 

Phew. I can do this. I can do it. Lisa said to herself. As the parents took their leave , Ten said he wanted to talk to Lisa for a bit and they went to Lisa's apartment. 

As Ten and Lisa walked into her house , Lisa quickly asked him "Do you want something to drink or eat? Coffee? I have some lemonade from yesterday and cola too , or maybe just water-" she got cut off as Ten spun her around to look at him and just hugged her tight. 

"Listen to me Lils. Are you okay?" He said burying his head into her neck , lightly inhaling the sweet scent of her perfume as his eyelashes brushed against the start of her back , sending chills down her spine. 

"Yeah I'm fine , why do you ask?" she says. Ten always liked calling her Lils. Lisa always wanted him to call her Lili , but he didn't want to give in to her demands so quick and called her Lils ever since. 

"I haven't seen you zone out like that since when we got those chemistry pop quizzes back in 9th grade." He said chuckling in his deep voice , as his chin moved against her skin and she slowly wrapped her hands around his torso , slightly swaying in the hug. 

"Funny for you to say , I'm pretty sure I scored higher" she teased , smirking while resting her chin on his shoulder. 

"But don't change the topic so quick , what's wrong? Is this about everything moving too fast? Are you uncomfortable with it?" he asked , voice laced with doubt and regret.

"No , no it's not that , it's just that everything is already happening and I'm just scared of what the future holds. Your my bestest friend and loosing you through all of this would be the worst thing to ever happen." She said with a soft voice moving her hands to his neck and her head now down on his chest. 

Ten slowly pulled away from the hug by slightly pushing her waist away from him as he looked into her big eyes filled with worry. 

"I promise you Lils , I'm not going to let anything like that happen. I wouldn't want to loose you even if it meant loosing the museum. I can't imagine life without you as my friend." He said reassuring her of her nervousness and pulled her back into his chest when he saw her give him a slight smile with a nod. 

"You're still crazy for doing this dumbass." she said in a groggy voice feeling sleepy with all the warmth spread by their hug. 

"At least I have an ass" he whispered into her ear and pulled away from her quickly running towards the door. 

"Chittaphon Leechiyapornkul come back her this instant or else-" she said chasing him.

"I've got to rush for dinner , mom said she want's to discuss something with me about moving in tomorrow , bye I'll see you tomorrow!!!" He said while laughing and shut the door behind him before Lisa could catch up. 

She sunk into her couch replaying the scene in her mind and smiling to herself. 

"The nerve of that one." She said.
