Chittaphon , Chittaphon. Takes a little long to speak eh? Let's just say Ten , no one calls him Chittaphon anyways-

Ten. Ten was a 25 year old Thai prodigy. He spoke 4 languages , he could sing , rap and dance , he could manage his family's property-museum well. He was an absolute gentleman who had a fun and cheery personality , he was well off too and just to add on top of all that , he was good looking too. What did this guy not have?

 A girlfriend. 

He didn't have a girlfriend? The guy who has everything a girl searches for , doesn't have a girlfriend. How ironic. See one more thing Ten lacks , is attraction towards someone romantically. He hasn't had a crush on anyone his whole life , his friends would always try to ship him or set him up with someone , but Ten never ended up liking someone , and that was in the 10th grade. 

10 years later , Ten is still the same. 

"Mom you've known me since before I was born , before that too! How can you still say I'm not worthy of inheriting the property yet? I made the sales of our museum go up by forty percent!" Ten said to his mom , who shook her head at the claims he made. 

"I never said you were not capable Chittaphon , I just said that I think it's the best if you marry before inheriting the property , that way a huge responsibility like this will not be only in your hands and there will be someone to support you , I cant be there for you your whole life , you know that-" his mom was cut off.

"Mom but you know I want to marry for love , this museum has been my dream since I was a kid! The time has come for me to take over snd for you to rest , what's the problem in that?" he said.

"My decision is final Ten , I gave you many years to find love , but you couldn't!" his mom said. 

"Okay mom. I'll listen to you , but if the marriage breaks in the future , don't blame me." he said with a cold tone. 

"Oh we'll see" His mom muttered.

"Sure son , now come give mom a hug" she said as Ten hugged approached her and hugged her , while his mind scattered around trying to figure out how he'd be able to find a bride. 

"HOW CAN I MARRY YOU TEN? WE'VE BEEN BEST FRIENDS SINCE THE WOMB AND NOW YOU WANT ME TO MARRY YOU?" Lisa said as Ten scrunched his eyes , not expecting that loud of a reaction from her.  

"I know Lisa its weird but cmon you have to do this for me , you know how much the museum and property means to me , it's the sake of my dreams!" he said while offering her puppy eyes. 

Lalisa Manoban. Expert dancer and rapper , best friends with Ten for the whole of her life , was panicking. Panicking bad. The guy who she unintentionally fell for , the guy who never had intentions of reciprocating her feelings , is now asking for her to marry him. 

"Ten marriage is not a joke , marriage means being together for the rest of our lives-" she got cut off by Ten.

"Who said we can't break it? I just want us to get married for a year , no more no less and then the divorce. I know I sound really selfish right now but it's all I can do. Mom won't listen and I thought since we've already been together for such a long time , this won't affect our relationship much and mom would approve of it without suspicions too , I just want your help for one year Lisa , please cooperate with me" He said in one breath , the passion for his dream was evident in his eyes. Her eyes roamed from looking at the fountain , grass and buildings behind the place Ten was standing in front of her. Ten gently grabbed her cheek and made her lock eye contact with him.

Ten always found his family's ancestral property fascinating. Half of it was a residential area for him and his family to live in and the other half was a museum filled with antiques from all over Thailand. Ever since he was young , he had seen his grandfather and father look after the museum like it was their life. They would put in so much time and effort into it , that soon enough Ten too fell in love with the history found in every corner of that place. 

It was evident the heights Ten was willing to reach to gain control over the property. 

Now if it were you and your crush and best friend of more than 20 years asks you to marry them for their benefit , would you agree? I mean.... he is hot- and rich- 

If you answered yes , well , that's what Lisa did too. 

"Ten if emotional blackmailing was a sport , you'd win without competition" Lisa said while giving Ten a grumpy face. 

"AHHHHHH LISAAA THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU SO MUCH , HOW CAN I EVER REPAY YOU!" Ten screamed and caught her in a bone crushing hug as the corners of his eyes lifted up , the rest of his face hidden below her shoulders as Lisa giggled. 

As happy as she looked on the outside , as concerned Lisa was on the inside. She knew this wouldn't end up well and she is bound to get hurt by this , but she can't refuse his offer. He's her best friend. Right? Maybe this develops hate for him , what if he has annoying habits that help her get over him? She can only pray for the best now. She thought as she shut her eyes and hugged Ten back.
