Summer before second year
Draco's POV
I got off the train and saw Harry get into a car with 2 people screaming at him. I felt really bad.
"Ready to go, son?" my father said.
"Yes Father." I grabbed his hand and we apperated back to our Manor.
We apparated to the front porch. we walked into the Manor to my mom on the couch.
"Draco! How are you, Dragon?" She came and gave me a hug and my dad a quick kiss.
"I'm doing good mom. Studies are good and I like all my classes. I do the best in Potions though."
"Well that's great. Did you make and friends?" He looked at my dad. He only smiled down me.
"Well... I met 2 new people, Ron and Hermione... but we aren't beat friends. Of course there's Pansy an Goyle. Crabbe tried saying I was going to hand someone over to A Dark Lord, and that Person happened to be my best friend. Well anyways, Crabbe has gotten into a lot of fights with us. He always starts all of them, and we got detention one time."
"Are you alright though, you and your friend?" My Father said worried.
"Yes father were okay."
"Oh thank goodness." my mom said.
"So have you found anyone else?" Asked my dad.
well here goes nothing...
"W-well... uh there's-"
"It's okay Draco you can trust us." my mom said. The two looked at me lovingly, with sympathetic grins on their faces.
"O-okay..." I said running my hands together. "Well there's this boy... I like.. A lot...and I think he likes me, but you can never be too sure." I said afraid of what they would think. Then my mom hugged me, which I expected. He always supported me with things. But then my dad hugged me and said "We support you no matter what, Draco. Just know that, okay?" They pulled away. I had a huge grin on my face.
"Thank you mom... dad, you have no idea what that means to me." I said.
"No problem son. Would you like to tell us who it is?"
"O-oh uh... um... I-I don't know is I should." my voice was trailing off. My parents just gave me a wide smile.
"Whenever you're ready, son." My dad said.
I went upstairs to my room and began to write a letter for Harry.

Hi Harry,
How are you. I'm doing pretty good. I just wanted to check in to say hi.
- Draco

But he never replied.

It's the end of summer and I haven't gotten one letter from Harry, and I'm kind of mad and sad at the same time. I just hope he's okay.

Harry's POV

It's the end of the summer and I'm currently at the Weasleys. I haven't gotten any letters from Draco, but that's thanks to Dobby. Everyone is treating me well. I think Ginny is treating me a little too well. She may like me. But I don't like her, I like Draco.
Crazy right? He'd never like me. But oh my Merlin I just wanted to grab his face and kiss him sometimes. it made me feel bad that I didn't get any letters from him. Ron and Hermione were currently asking me if I liked any girls at school, and I so a no.
"Cmon Harry, there's someone and we know it."
"No there isn't"
"Harry, you can trust us."
"OKAY FINE" I screamed and shot my hands in my face really fast. we were in Ron's room. They tilted their heads at me.
"OOoh which girl Harry?" Ron said.
"Well the thing is...its not a girl." I said quietly.
"Oh Harry I support you no matter what." Hermione said. Ron said nothing. He just sat there thinking until Hermione snapped her fingers in his face. He shook his head and looks at me. I was really fearful of what he would say.
"Oh right. Sorry kind of zoned out. But yeah, Harry that's great, I support you too."
I got up and hugged them. "thank you! I was so worried!"
"About what Harry? It doesn't matter if you like boys or not." Hermione laughed.
"So Harry, have any eyes on any boy" Ron said wiggling his eyebrows. I laughed.
"Yeah, but I don't wanna talk about it."
"Kay mate whenever you're ready."
"OH HARRY WAIT!!!" Hermione screamed. Ron and I jumped 5 feet off our chairs.
"What Hermione?!?!??" I said panting.
"What about Ginny?! Oh Harry, what are you going to do?!"
"What about her?"
"You are so oblivious! Its obvious she likes you!"
"Oh no..." Ron said.
"Great. What am I going to do?"
"Let her down easy?" Ron said.
"Ok.." I said and we went down for dinner.

Still Harry's POV A/N: IMPORTANT! in this here book, they don't use the flying car. (mainly because I forgot and wrote the story with them getting on the train. I'm sorry 😔)

I got on the train with Ron and Hermione and after a while I got up.
"I'll be back." I said
"Okay Harry" they said in unison.
I went to go see Draco. He was in a compartment alone again reading. I opened the door.
"Draco? it's me Harry." I said softly.
He looked up to me, eyebrows furrowed. he looks mad.
"Oh, the letters..."
"Yeah, you never wrote me back. Do you even care?" he said sadly. I bolted from the other chair across from him.
"Of course I do! Please just let me explain! Please."

Draco's POV

Harry looked down at his feet, looking as if he were going to cry. I pulled him to my lap and hugged him. I nodded and he looked up, wiping the tears away and the hair out of his eyes. He was still straddling my waist.
"Ok...so I was just in my room one night and an elf came in and he told me to not go back to Hogwarts. After a while, he said something, and I realized he took all of my letters. From the whole summer. Every single one, he had them from you, Hermione, and Ron. he even had the ones I tried to send to you guys. I'm really sorry." He said. I pulled him into my chest. I grabbed his hair and started to stroke it.
"It's okay, I understand. I'm sorry." I said to him.
"It's okay" he said into my neck. His arms were around my waist and mine around his. We stayed like that for 10 minutes and he fell asleep. I let him sleep until it was ten minutes to Hogwarts, because he had huge circles under his eyes.
"Harry, it's time to get up"
"Hmm?" He said into my neck. I chuckled.
"Ten minutes until we get there." I said softly. He bolted up and I almost fell over.

Harry, Hermione, Goyle, Pansy, and I were walking into Hogwarts. We said hello to Hagrid and went to the Great Hall.

This year should be fun
