Michael's POV
Adam was acting weird all day. I hope he's ok, because this show means the world to me and I need him focused. As my makeup artist gives me the finishing touches, I see Janet talking to some of my dancers.

I didn't know she was going to be here!

I go over to her and hug her from behind. I say,

"Janet, what a surprise! "

She turns around and hugs me tightly. She says,

"I thought you were someone else, Mikey. "

I look at her confused and ask,

"Who else would be hugging you? "

She quickly says, "No one, silly. "

I nod, not very convinced. I say,

"I hope you enjoy the show. "

She nods and says, "I will. Um...have you seen Adam? "

I shake my head and say, "No. But he's around here somewhere. "

She nods and says, "Well good luck. "

She walks away. That was weird. I shrug it off and go over to Frank. I say,

"Alright, Frank, get everyone together please. "

He nods and uses his bullhorn to gather everyone. I say,

"Hold hands everyone. "

Adam is next to me. He grabs my hand and I grab Frank's hand. Adam is shaking a bit. I hope he's not nervous.

"You all were awesome yesterday. No mistakes. I wish I could say the same for the wardrobe department, but I can't... It's not your fault Bill. I know this. Let's all go out there and give these people the best show they'll ever see! "

We all cheered!

Everyone gets in their spots. The lights go down and the crowd goes wild! I'm ready to rock their worlds!

Adam was on fire! He was amazing! Everything went smoothly. I'm so proud of everyone! When we run off stage I see Janet run up to Adam and hug him. I didn't know they knew each other well.

I walk over and say,

"Hey, Janet. "

Adam tenses up. Janet gulps and says, "Hi, Michael. "

I point out, "You called me Michael! You only do that when you're hiding something. What's going on? "

She shakes her head and says, "Nothing's wrong. "

Adam blurts out, "Janet has a surprise for you... "

Janet looks at Adam in disbelief. He continues,

"I'm sorry Janet. I can't keep secrets. "

Janet smirks and says, "I can tell. "

I get excited and ask, "What's the surprise? "

Adam's POV

I winked at Janet before I said Janet has a surprise for Michael. She got my drift.

Janet was supposed to take Michael out anyway, so she might as well do it tonight. I can tell Michael lost all suspicion when he heard the word surprise.

He's such a kid.

Janet smiles at Michael and says, "You're probably too tired to go tonight anyway. "

He shakes his head and insists, "I'm not tired at all! "

I laugh and say, "Have fun you two. "

When Michael looks at me, Janet winks at me. I smile and walk away.

Michael might be small, but I can tell he'll hurt someone if they mess with his sister. I just hope he'll understand my feelings for her. I'd never hurt her. I'll tell him... One day...
